We were able to take a tour in Sydney with Nigel and he was amazing! Not only was he super friendly and knowledgeable, but he showed us the best spots around. You can tell Nigel truly loves what he does. If you have the opportunity to take a tour with Nigel & AEA, I highly recommend it!

We did the Blue Mountain tour with Dane. It was an amazing tour. Really enjoyed the small group tour. So much better than the big buses with hordes of people. Dane was a great guide who provided all kinds of great information and interesting stories. Lunch was provided and it was delicious. Restaurant also has a great view. It was a long day but worth it. Would highly recommend.

Our driving tour of Sydney was well run, informative, and fun. Our guide Ian was professional, personable, and highly knowledgeable regarding the history and highlights of the Sydney area.
We also took an all-day tour of the Blue Mountains with Larry, whose knowledge of the history, geology, flora, and fauna of the mountains is nothing short of spectacular. If you visit Sydney, take a tour with AEA. You will not regret it.

We enjoyed two tours with AEA. Both pocked us up on time and followed the itinerary and visits as stated on their website. No hidden bad surprises or costs. Both driver guides took care of making the tours the best experience down under. Comentary in Englisch with available ipod in some languages available upon request at booking. Comfortable and clean vehicles. With a max of 14 participants, we stopped out of the big tour rides for quiet and more relaxed visits.

Definitely highly recommended. My friend and I took the Half-Day Panoramic Sydney Sights Afternoon tour on Monday, April 20th, in a small group. A very complete tour, it includes the main sites in Sydney, some of the suburbs, Bondi Beach and much more. Suitable for all ages and also adapted if you don't understand English. If I return to Australia in the future (hopefully, there's still so much more to see), I'll definitely take another tour with your company! Special mention to our guide, Matt, and his australian history master explanations. He also gave us recommendations about Sydney throughout the tour that were very useful! You can tell he's passionate about what he does.

This is a luck of the draw thing, but we started late, there was miscommunication about what the drop off point was supposed to be, and our guide was far more focused on the price of houses and schools than he was on context or history. It definitely felt more like a shuttle service than a tour. I got off the van early. I regret not getting off sooner - I do think this is intended for older, possibly less mobile travelers - I was the youngest by thirty years!

An unforgettable day in the Blue Mountains. Our tour guide John knocked it out of the park. A wellspring of knowledge, funny, friendly… John made this experience so special. He curated a magical hike for my husband and I, packed us a proper lunch and gave us instructions to wait and eat until we got to the waterfall. Boy are we glad we did. A priceless memory for us. I don’t know if you’re able to request a tour guide but if you can pick John. We loved every minute of this tour. Thank you!

We had two tours during our honeymoon trip with AEA and they were both wonderful! Our first was a private tour to Hunter Valley with Matt. He provided us with so much Australian history on our way. He knew we wanted to see a kangaroo and went out of his way to try to get us to see one! He provided so many suggestions for us during our time in Sydney. Our second tour was a Blue Mountain tour and we were SO happy to see that Matt was our tour guide again! He is truly passionate about Australian history and it shows.

On Wednesday, March 20, 2024 we took the Blue Mountains day tour from Sydney. Our driver (Mario) arrived on time in a late model Mercedes van and we stopped at a couple meeting places to pickup additional guests. Our tour had 13 passengers in total and we had an amazing time. Safe drive out of the city, lots of shared information supported by print collateral (pass around and return). We stopped at a small rehabilitation zoo, multiple lookout points, botanic gardens and had a great lunch included in the price. Highly recommend this tour for those looking for a chance to see multiple stops in a one day period and get great exposure to the mountain range. A perfect setup for planning a 3-4 day intensive visit to an extremely beautiful area.

Our driver Hedler was wonderful and did everything he could to make our Blue Mountains day tour good BUT the weather was awful so we saw nothing. All the look out points were covered in clouds and even the botanic gardens were impossible to visit (the one indoor exhibit was closed). Other buses at least had umbrellas for their guests. The weather should have been checked by the tour company before we departed and we should have been given an option - other tours we have taken gave partial reimbursements when the weather did not permit the full experience. Given the option my husband and I would not have wanted to spend the day on a bus to see clouds and would have happily done ANYTHING else in Sydney on our last day. SUPER disappointed!

We did the Blue Mountain Deluxe Tour and enjoyed our views and informational sessions with Mario. He did a great job talking about Australia in general, the Blue Mountains, and answering questions. We saw so many different views of the Blue Mountains and pet koalas! Mario even delivered some delicious treats at the end. There is no hiking involved, which is fine knowing that coming in. I did feel rushed at many spots but understood it was to beat the crowds. We saw a small portion of the botanical gardens there as well. The provided lunch and views at the Hydro Majestic Hotel was also delicious and large portion sizes.

My husband and I went on a morning tour of Sydney city mountains and beaches on our honeymoon trip. We had an amazing experience with Hoof as our tour guide. He accommodated our busy schedule with pick up and drop off and was extremely knowledgeable about each place that we visited. Hoof even surprised us with coffee and TimTams during the trip. Tip: Ask Hoof to take your photos-he is an EXCELLENT photographer! I’ve seen other comments about driving and traffic issues, but Hoof was an excellent driver and felt safe the entire trip. 10/10 would recommend this company again!

The driver of AEA luxury tours was super rude, gave middle fingers to the other people on the street, drove dangerously in the city as a result of road rage.
Beware the way how they treat the other people can be the way they treat you.

Hi. I feel I need to address sum comments that you have made, that are untrue. Firstly, the price for the tour with restaurant meal is $314 per person, not $299. Our old price was $299, but as of April 1st we have had to increase the price of our product, as all of our expenses have increased, such as lunches, diesel, drivers wages, national park entry.
On some occasions we will need to have people on the same bus that have chosen the hiking option, or the restaurant option. The only difference in the two products is the chosen lunch option. You should have had your picnic lunch whilst hiking on a 1.5 hour trail with incredible views. Based on your comment, it would appear you did not do the hike? I am unable to know for sure which was your booking, as I am given no information from your comment which date you traveled on. But it could be that you decided on the day you didnt want to hike? in which case you would have had to eat your picnic lunches in the cafe separate to the others who paid more for a 2 course lunch. As for your comment on the lunches quality, I can only pass this on to the Cafe who made them and give them feedback in the expectation that we don't hear this comment again. The stop at the Gardens is minimum 30 minutes and helps break the journey home.
National Park entry fees are not paid by the driver on the day. It is paid through a quarterly reporting system through our National Parks Eco-Pass certificate. The price is $3 per person which we pay quarterly.
