This includes boarding, handling small steps or walkways, moving around and staying seated during small waves without crew assistance. We get off the boat at Coolenup Island, which is a public location managed by local government. Access is via a public jetty and very occasionally this can be delayed or even prevented by other vessels. Guests must be able to offboard and onboard at a fixed jetty or via an onboard ramp on their own, and they visit the island at their own risk.
There is a marked path which is very flat, but the path is not paved and is not suitable for guests unsteady on their feet. We strongly
request guests do not wander into the uncleared bush for safety reasons.
*Mandurah’s dolphins are wild creatures viewed in their natural environment and we are unable to guarantee sightings.

Definitely recommend this cruise. We pre ordered the fish and chips for lunch. Don’t have morning tea as the food is given to you when you board.
The staff on board were lovely and the weather was perfect. We saw a few dolphins which was cool as well
A special thank you to Haruka, Mel (Chef), Emma, and Daron (Skipper) for their outstanding service and friendliness.
The food was delicious, the lobster-catching experience was amazing, and the whole journey was truly enjoyable and satisfying. Highly recommended!
We then came back into the cannel and then had our on-board Cheff cooked up our
lunch. We had a 3 course lunch with sweets and enjoyed many wines with it. We then went cruising around the cannels and checked out the all the houses.
I would like to thank the Captain Shane or better known as Poppa Smurf ( Emma made me do it. : ) and decky Emma and our Cheff who's name I can't spell, Sorry. All in all I recommend this experience as all on board had a great time and we also got to see the Dolphins. Thank You.
P>S The Cheff is the one in the middle of the photo.
My entire family enjoyed their first ever boat trip and was very well managed onboard with safety for both humans and wildlife a priority. Thanks again for the memories!!
The staff on board were wonderful. The gentleman doing the commentary was very informative and interesting.
It wasn’t rushed.
Lovely views of the area and the dolphins.
Would definitely recommend.
We’ve ordered lunch beforehand and can only recommend eating it out of the wind in the bottom of the boat on your way back. (The seafood roll was so good)!
Tip: tighten hats and sunglasses with straps because it’s really windy up on the deck. I suggest to keep backpacks and bags on or drop them off inside the boat. Long hair will go all over the place so worth tying back too😉
The staff on board both trips were all amazing it was so informative and I will keep recommending it to everyone
The office was more than accomadating when I had to defer on 2 different occasions and the company was a pleasure to deal with all round!
Well done to all employees in all areas .we'll be back! 👏 👏 👏
Teresa (UK)
Daz and his crew did an excellent job, and we saw a few dolphins during the cruise.
Managed to catch around 4-5 dolphins n my kiddos had fun.
Great experience and it was a sight to behold as we cruise around.
Slow pace and trying to hunt for dolphins around the area.
Saw heaps of wildlife. Excellent lunch as well. Interesting tour of the canal developments was very welcome.
Well done to all concerned.
Only thing is, from their website I thought there would be a lot of dolphins chasing the cruise; and the cruise will go a bit further to outside sea instead of only stay inside the canal.
But overall still a good experience for us. Thanks!

Thank you for providing such an amazing experience for us.
Couldn't ask for better value for money.. VERY impressed.
Thankyou for the great Murray River Cruise!
and the dolphins in the river. It was fun to be on board.
Matteo (skipper) and Leigh (commentator / guide) were friendly, funny, and very good communicators. The safety briefing was thorough without being long and boring. We saw dolphins pretty quickly, and I appreciated the respect that Matteo showed them by waiting for the dolphins to come to the boat rather than chasing them.
Leigh is very knowledgeable about the local area, bird life, and the marine mammals and clearly has a passion she wants to share. It was interesting learning about the canals and seeing the houses from a different perspective. At the front of the boat, there is a kids station with a steering wheel, bell, and telescope. This kept the kids on the boat happy for a long time as they all waited with their parents to take turns. There is a toilet and bar downstairs. However, we ended up not using either.
A great experience overall, thank you! 😊
