Captain was amazing
Boat staff were beautiful and nothing was to much hassle.
The history of the boat was the coolest absolutely ❤️ 💯
Our live artist was simply amazing !
The staff are exceptionally knowledgeable and clearly passionate about what they do. What really stood out was the genuine care they show, not just for giving guests an amazing experience, but for preserving and sharing the importance of the land and its Indigenous culture. The stories, insights, and context they provided added so much depth and meaning to the journey and made it feel truly special rather than just a sightseeing trip.
The food and drinks were another highlight, beautifully prepared, fresh, and surprisingly impressive for a cruise. Everything felt well considered and elevated the whole experience even further.
We’ve honestly never experienced anything quite like this. It was immersive, educational, relaxing, and inspiring all at once. If you’re looking for something unique that goes beyond the usual coastal tour and leaves you with a real appreciation for the place and its significance, this is an absolute must do. Highly recommended.
Yesterday I went on this beautiful old boat with for their Bushtucker Cruise, enjoying delicious seafood that is sustainably sourced with native ingredients, listened to our Indigenous culture & local history with some of my special people.
Excellent vibe. I can’t wait to go on the Sunset cruise next.
This experience is amazing . Do yourself a favour and go on this tour, listen to the history of our country.
The vessel is accessible, the staff amazing and so accommodating.
The food incredible. We highly recommend and will be back again.
Thank you to the crew for making our experience so enjoyable.
When weighing up the prices against the other cruises they were not the cheapest but you have to consider the extras eg
* completely free drink
* free grazing box
* live music ( this really made the experience special )
* 2 hour cruise time
* reasonable drinks prices
Very happy we will book again next year
The boat was beautiful, the views were relaxing, and the native-inspired food and drinks were delicious, a really nice addition to the experience. Overall, it felt like a well-balanced mix of learning, eating amazing food, scenery and just enjoying time on the water. Definitely something we’d recommend.
Staff incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and fun.
We were blessed with a perfect sunset accompanied with great music.
Definitely will go again 😀
I loved hearing the stories of the trees, sea animals,local area that only an Indigenous person would know. The didgeridoo closure was a Blessing.
I had great respect for such the young, intelligent Indigenous man having a love for historical,vintage, quality made boats to the point of renovating one himself.
I bought a jar of the Lemon Myrtle Coconut Sauce from their shop to have with Fresh prawns I bought from the Mooloolaba Seafood markets
The sauce was To Die For !
Well done to the team 🙂🙏
You should all stand Proud of such quality products and Tourism Service
Delicious cocktails or drink of your choice were available to purchase. This tour is great value for money and an amazing experience. An ideal 'gift' for family and friends.
Do NOT miss this unique experience. Vivien Barton from Brisbane
The drink selection was fantastic as well, and the cocktails were outstanding — I’m not usually a cocktail person, and I was genuinely impressed. It’s a very enjoyable and relaxing experience cruising down the Mooloolaba canals.
Be prepared to go barefoot (although the crew were very flexible if you’re wearing appropriate footwear), then just sit back and relax — the background music was great too.
The grazing bites provided won’t replace lunch in most cases, but the wharf has plenty of restaurants to choose from right after the cruise.
Huge thanks to everyone involved — we’ll definitely be doing this cruise again.
The tastings were super delish as were the cocktails!
Cannot fail to mention the boat; it was Gorgeous.
We will most certainly be back!!
- you'll hear from Simon about the history of this area, how try to imagine how this beautiful part of the world, land, sea, sky might have been before colonisation
- you'll get to taste delicious foods, carefully prepared and beautifully presented, using local bush tucker ingredients
- you will support a young family who are living their dream and sharing it with us
- an added bonus, support other First Nations businesses
Thank you so much to you all of the team at Eco-Cruises, from your beautiful shop front, gorgeously restored sailing/motor boat, scrumptious food and warm welcome was a total pleasure for me to experience.
Keep enjoying what you're doing - you are total legends!
The staff are very friendly and accommodating and Simon was a dab hand on the didgeridoo.
We love how the company is so environment focused, giving back to the land where they can.
100% recommend the bushtucker cruise. The sunset cruise with live music is also fantastic.
I had a wattleseed espresso martini that was the best cocktail I’ve ever had. Strong and delicious!
Whether you’re a couple looking for a romantic night out or a group of friends wanting a unique way to enjoy the Mooloolaba waters, this is it. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the area!
What a great experience. very informative about our indigenous peoples and their bushtucker which we got to sample as delicious candles. great choice of alcoholic & Non alcoholic beverages.
A great relaxing time finished off by having Simon play the didgeridoo.
I would highly recommend this cruise on a 117 year old beautifully renovated ketch.
There should be more of these businesses to educate and open people eyes
Thankyou for an amazing experience.
Highly recommended!!!!
Will be back for a sunset cruise very soon.
Huge thanks to Jenna, Simon, Sophie & the Saltwater Crew for their warmth and passion.
Highly recommend—can’t wait to return!
Had no idea there were so many canals
Food absolute delicious
Very proud aboriginal presence
Loved the history of the boat with Huon pine
We were booked for the Friday sunset music tour however due to strong winds/storms we were rescheduled for the Sunday bush tucker cruise. The cruise itself was nice, staff super friendly and welcoming, the cocktails were amazing, but the food, OMG, the food was incredible. The food along was worth the price, 5 or 6 courses of incredible tapas type meals made up of a huge variety of native ingredients. This isn't some token effort at bush tucker, this is bush tucker fine dining.
The history of the boat, the beautiful polished timbers, adventures it had in it's day, the indigenous use of foods, stories and landmarks of the Mooloolaba River including both under and above the water, icons such as the Osprey's nest and sea slug colony was all fascinating to our group. There was also plenty of quiet time to just chill out and meet other guests and have a chat.
Definitely can't go wrong choosing this company, any of their tours are worth every cent.
Best of all was the food! It was incredible. The chef made superb canapes which were presented at regular intervals throughout the cruise. We loved all the indigenous flavours.
Towards the end of the cruise we had some digeridoo and drum music to finish off an amazing time. We highly recommend the Bushtucker Cruise to anyone coming to the Sunshine Coast or staying in Mooloolaba.
