The twilight tour was simply amazing. A really lovely balance of information about culture, history and country. Listening to the didjeridoo in the amphitheater in the cave was amazing. Then we had time to explore the in a very small group. One of the absolute highlights of our time in WA so far.

My visit to Ngilgi Cave with Koomal Dreaming was truly a highlight of our trip to Western Australia. From the moment the tour began, we were completely immersed in the ancient culture of the Wadandi people.

A huge thank you to our guide, Josh! His passion and deep knowledge of the local Indigenous history and traditions brought the landscape to life. He shared the tjukurpa (dreaming stories) and explained the cultural significance of the region with incredible detail and clarity.

For anyone concerned about mobility, I was extremely impressed that all aspects of the tour outside of the cave itself were wheelchair accessible. The welcome area, facilities, and the pathways leading to the cave entrance are very well set up, allowing everyone to participate fully in the cultural introduction and surrounding environment. (Just remember that the cave interior naturally requires steps.)

I went to the Twlight Didgeridoo Cave Tour at the Ngilgi Cave in Yalingup W.A., and I would highly recommend it to anyone that would like to learn more about our Aboriginal history, culture and their traditional ways of life in this region. This tour was so much more than just going into a cave to hear a didgeridoo. You will definitely come away with a whole new appreciation and understanding of our Aboriginal people and how the six seasons make so much sense. The Peppermint tree has just become my new favourite!

Josh from Koomal Dreaming was a very informative and engaging guide throughout this tour. He shared knowledge and stories as we made our way through the winding trail to the cave, and this continued when we were inside as well. The acoustics in the cave were amazing for the Didgeridoo, and a unique experience - this cave is very special. We were also invited to explore deeper into the cave if we wanted to. There are quite a lot of steps (with handrails) for those wanting to do this part, and it does get quite humid down there - so would suggest a medium level of fitness to get around tricky areas, sturdy shoes as ground can get uneven, light clothing and bring your sense of adventure.

If you can't manage steps to go into the cave section (which is only a part of the experience), you can still have an enjoyable time whilst staying above ground. The area around the cave has been well designed and has all sorts of exhibits, wildlife and plants to capture your interest while waiting for the group to come back up to continue the experience.

Josh was amazing! Hearing about the culture and history, sharing his story, listening to the Didgeridoo in the cave, and joining him to make music was, and learn about the tools was an experience! Thanks Josh!

It’s definitely the best aboriginal experience in Australia I have had before. During the tour, you can learn how the aboriginals live with their environment. Everything comes from the nature, such as ocean, lands and plants. They never live at same place for too long because of the severe weather but they survive with their wisdom. Amazing. Josh's knowledge and information has you shaking your head in wonder. The tour is interspersed with stories of that past spanning thousands of years of traditional culture. The song he played on didgeridoo was mesmerising.

Not impressed. Not impressed and not worth the cost. Honestly, I would rather visit the vineyards, spend the money on a fun day at the beach or go to the chocolate shop. Not family friendly.

I booked 3 of us onto Cave, Didgeridoo cave and food culture tour. The whole thing was amazing Josh certainly knows and connects his country like it's the bank of his hand!

When I booked the tour, I thought the food section was more of a snack thing, but turned out Josh and his team cooked a amazing lunch of meats, salads, bread, cheeses and all locally sourced with home made spices.

The day didn't feel rushed and had good time to explore everything and to ask Josh any questions.

Great experience Great twilight cave tour with didgeridoo. Our host was a local leader of the indigenous people and his love of the land and surroundings was evident. The cave was awesome. The twilight tour also meant no crowds. Great experience.

Disappointing. The tour actually went for 45 minutes, not 90 minutes as advertised. The short bushwalk was just along a fire track to the cave. We walked down into the bottom of the cave system, where Josh played the didgeridoo. Then we were then told we could spend the rest of the 90 minutes looking around the cave system by ourselves. Also, if we were told the didgeridoo performance was about to begin, we could actually be in a position to see rather than just hear the performance. We were around the corner in a dead end area, unable to move. We were really looking forward to an immersive cultural experience, and were left feeling that Josh was just going through the motions, then left.

A must for locals as well as those visiting the South West Region! Enriching, educational and enjoyable. Many thanks Josh

I was recently visiting Yallingup for a week and this tour was my highlight of my time there.... which is saying a lot given how beautiful everything in this part of the world is! Josh from Koomal Dreaming was incredibly knowledgeable and was so generous in answering all the questions we all had. This tour is a 'must-do' for any one visiting the area ... You walk away with a renewed perspective and deeper apprection of the land you are walking on. I would do this tour again and plan to bring friends and family along next time.

Ngilgi Cave Cultural Tour - do it - you will love it! Our family of 4 did the evening Ngiligi Cave Cultural Tour. It was an informative introduction to indigenous plants, and the indigenous history of the Capes region and the cave. This was followed by an incredible didgeridoo performance in the cave and then freedom to explore the cave. We were the only ones of the tour so got to experience the magic of the cave by ourselves. We all agreed that this was the best cave tour of the region.

Shared this wonderful experience with my 13yo daughter and it's one of the most lovely and memorable things we have done within Australia. I would love every West Australian and every visitor here to have the privilege of experiencing this. Spending this time on country and Josh's knowledge as a proud Wadandi man was just incredible and I've been recommending it to everyone. I've even referred the business to a local travel agent I know who is looking for new ways for her clients to experience WA now that we are dealing with the challenges of the pandemic. We did the sunset tour which finished with Josh playing the didgeridoo inside Ngilgi Cave which was so haunting we had chills. Next time we plan to do one of the longer tours as we have heard Josh is an amazing cook and we are more intrigued with bush tucker and just being able to understand this country better from the vast knowledge and experience of its traditional custodians.
