Absolutely amazing experience. I would recommend this to anybody who has an interest in flying or in general, just loves the Top Gun film. The people that worked at Fighter Pilot were very accommodating. They are very knowledgeable and I’d highly recommend anyone this experience. Inwas also lucky enough to see a Spitfire takeoff and start up so if you’re lucky to get that experience as well that’s an added bonus.

A must do! Absolutely loved every minute of this experience. I would highly recommend it to anybody that has an interest in aviation or just having a experience of a lifetime in a jet plane.
I was also lucky enough to see a Spitfire start-up and take off whilst I was there and the team was so accommodating and open to sharing information about what was going on at the airfield at the time. I highly recommend this to anyone who is considering this experience.

Yak adventure flight I had an amazing experience on my adventure flight yesterday—it was a birthday surprise for me from my living husband and it turned out to be absolutely unforgettable! The views from the sky were simply spectacular, and my pilot was incredible—professional, friendly, and made me feel completely safe and special . It’s truly worth every penny. This is the kind of experience you’ll never forget!

Purchased the L-39 Albatross flight for a friends birthday present and I can’t recommend it highly enough. The whole team was really friendly and it was nice to not be rushed through the whole experience. We had time to look at the other planes, ask questions and take photos.
My friend has a real need for speed and it’s hard to find anything that gets him excited. This did! He particular enjoyed the fact that he got to fly it on his own for a few turns etc. I believe they hit the 5g mark and just short of 800kph.
Don’t skip on the inflight go pro footage they offer. Great quality.
If you wake up on the morning of your flight and don’t see crystal clear skies. Don’t stress. A bit of cloud cover actually made the experience and looked fantastic in the footage.

L39 Fighter jet platinum flight Wow what a thrill to fly with Cameron in the L39C Albatross. Starting with Paul on the ground and then Cameron, I was made to feel completely safe and in good hands. The aircraft is amazing and the things it can do, and you are encouraged to do yourself, are incredible. Highly recommend to anyone considering a flight.

P51 Mustang A truly awesome experience.

The crew were friendly and relaxed and made you feel welcome.
The aircraft was immaculately presented and is an exceptional example of the P51.

P51 Platinum Flight A truly epic adventure! I chose the P51 Platinum flight and opted for aerobatics. I was greeted by Brad who took me through pre-flight and explained what to expect during the flight and then showed me how to board the aircraft and securely strapped me into my harness, my pilot for the day was Cam who was absolutely awesome, the adrenaline rush of the sheer power of the roaring Merlin engine and the aerobatics gave me the thrill of a lifetime and everlasting memories which were all captured on video.
The whole team at fighter Pilot were very professional and absolutely brilliant,many thanks to Becky, Brad & Cam.

If you love WW2 Warbirds then this flight is a must do. It was on my bucket list to fly in a WW2 Warbird and my flight in the P51 Mustang was Brilliant🫡.
We had plenty of time to look around the plane beforehand and unbelievably there was also a Spitfire in the hangar we could look around too.
The acceleration on take off was incredible, scenery was spectacular, the flight was smooth and the aerobatic manoeuvres have me still smiling days later😃.
I would definately recommend getting the video of the flight to relive it and to show family and friends.

Yesterday I ticked a flight in a North American P51-D Mustang off the top of my bucket list. This is something I’d wanted to do for 20 years and it became the ultimate 50th birthday present.

The power of the V12 Merlin engine was incredible and the views as we flew low over Sanctuary Cove, Sovereign Island and along the Gold Coast were spectacular.

Cameron did a series of aerobatic maneuvers before giving me a once in a lifetime opportunity to fly my favorite WWII fighter plane.

Thank you so much to Brad & Cameron for an absolutely unforgettable experience that I’ve waited so long to do but as the saying goes “You Only Live Once”.

A bucket list item and time travel back into history It was an experience I had been looking forward to for a long time. To experience the real live noise and power of the merlin engine up close and in the aircraft and feel the aircraft in the air was a lifetime memory I wanted to cherish forever.
There was so much to take in knowing that these aircraft have such a history and were purpose built as a war machine and played a competitive part in air dominance.
I wanted to dip my toe in history, and I certainly achieved that. It started with looking at the owner’s collection of genuine artifacts from the era, that's when my mind and imagination started to transcend to appreciate what it must have been like and how these collected items would have been used. Reflecting on past documentaries and films to put it all in perspective, item by item.
Walking freely amongst the Mustang P51 and the Spitfire and being able to touch them really triggered my emotions. It linked a long-term desire and connection with history, but for real!
Next was to climb onto the wing and get settled into the cockpit. I was in sensory overload trying to savour the moment and take it all in.
The engine started, I could feel each cylinder firing through the seat, it felt agricultural, like a Harley Davidson engine in a go-kart. It was magnificent. The young trainee pilots must have been terrified back in the day.
I wanted to hear the genuine merlin noise from inside the aircraft (it sounds so distinctive and magnificent from the outside in air shows), I was warned the noise would be un-bearable and use the headphones. The advice proved to be good advice when the engine was put through its paces in the rev-up staging area at the end of the runway, my ears would have bled without headphones.
Shortly after I was on our way down the runway with pilot Cameron. The Mustang seemed to lift off the ground without knowing it and quickly turned into a rollercoaster ride when Cameron pulled back and to the left with the joystick . wow what was I in for from here.
We flew south for a bit to get away from Archerfield airfield and Cameron showed me what the mustang was capable of with barrel rolls, wing overs and loops.
In no time the 30 mins was up, and we headed home to Archerfield.
I had a tremendous time in the Mustang, much thanks to Becky, Cameron and his business partner.

Passenger flight in war bird Mustang P51 Did the Mustang P51 experience - great day - very enjoyable. Plane built in 1945 - went fantastic. All the crew / pilot very knowledgeable and friendly. You can tell that they loved these planes and showing people what they’re all about.

Flying in a WWII P-51 Mustang with Fighter Pilot Adventure Flights was truly the experience of a lifetime! As a former military and commercial pilot, my expectations were high—and they were completely exceeded.

The aircraft itself is a stunning piece of history, and soaring down the Australian Gold Coast provided an unforgettable backdrop. Brad and Cam were fantastic hosts, making the entire experience seamless, professional, and incredibly fun.

If you’ve ever dreamed of flying in a P-51 Mustang, this is the best place on earth to do it. The flight, the team, and the breathtaking scenery make this a must-do experience. I also got some amazing GoPro footage to relive the moment over and over again.

I cannot recommend this highly enough—if you’re even considering it, just do it!

Same Jet Tom Used in Top Gun Maverick! Whatever you think you’re in for, its going to surpass that and a whole lot more!
The L39 Albatross Gold experience is out of this world. Its manoeuvrability is crazy agile and Cam my pilot, was just effortless in his aerobatics. He’s obviously a champ dude and his expertise and passion in the L39 is very obvious. We did loops and barrels and pulled positive g’s, and the views were otherworldly, and can never be forgotten. One of those experiences that transforms you! You land and want to just repeat it over and over again!

Cam coached me to Loop and Barrel, and this was the icing on the cake, and made my flight. My dad had allowed me to bank before in his small prop plane and we’d done loop basics, but this is a whole other experience to that!

The L39 Albatross was used in Top Gun Maverick as a training jet for Tom and the actors who had to learn to fly first on a Cessna, then to the L39. It also features as the plane James Bond steals in the first scenes of ‘Tomorrow Never Dies’.

This jet is timeless, and addictive. Expect the instrumentation labels to be Russian, and be strapped in super tight. The glass canopy views are to die for, and the video clip on Fighter Pilot is a fraction of the actual experience in the plane.

The practical stuff that should be noted, is you’e going to need to equalise the pressure in your ears in an instant as you hit higher vertical altitude, so your ears should be clear, unblocked to fly.
It takes 10 minutes of this 30 minute package to taxi, take off, and return and land, the time you’re in the air goes very quickly, so I would have upgraded for a further 10 minutes if I’d known this.
Go Pro Footage is purchased on top of the package price and is an absolutely must.

I went up with Cameron on the 30min flight in the L-39 and had an absolute blast! The hangar setup with all the memorabilia is brilliant and the staff were great too with a guided tour. Bucket list item checked off! Thanks again guys.

Thank you for the most amazing experience! I loved it! Right from the time I arrived, you looked after me so well. My briefing and suiting up was great. My flight was excellent with such a great view of the beaches at the Gold Coast! And I saw whales!! My pilot - Cameron spoke to me the whole flight- telling me what we could see & what we were doing next. The rolls & turns were super exciting!! Loved it ! I have just watched my video & relived the whole experience! This was on my bucket list & I would highly recommend Fighter Pilot Adventure Flights!

“Do yourself a favour” This is an absolutely mind blowing experience, from the initial briefing to the awesome flight experience. Be aware that this Jet fighter flying could be addictive. The speeds, the views, the “G’s” the entire experience with such an experienced team was something that you’ll never ever forget.

EPIC EXPERIENCE Wife purchased me L-39 Jet Pilot experience for Christmas. I have done all the adrenaline activities you can thank of and this is by far one of the best. Cameron the pilot was fantastic. The length of the flight was perfect. It's not something you want to do and be back on the ground within a few minutes. Felt 100% safe and had an absolute blast at 10,000 feet. The speed and the G-Force is something alot of people will never experience. If you're thinking about doing this you wont regret it! Couldn't wipe the smile off my face for days later. Thank you guys for an experience of a lifetime! Cameron you're a legend!

Must do for warbird fans Family bought me the P-51 Platinum package. Awesome day! Lots of photos with the aircraft before the flight and the flight was everything I could want. Brilliant experience on the Yak52. I have a whole new found appreciation and respect for combat and aerobatic pilots. My pilot was great and so were the ground staff. Well organised and very professional. I saw the jet take off .... that looked awesome if you're thinking of that too but the Yak will put you through your paces. Have fun!

Albatros L-39 Jet Fighter What an experience. A quick briefing and it is on with the flying overalls. Walk outside and a jet and experience awaits. Strap in, headset on and Cam the pilot fires up the starter, jet and turbos chatting all the time about what is next. Taxi down to the end of the runway. The jet roars, the brakes release and after a short run you are airborne heading down past the Gold Coast. Bank left, "how was that", roll over, "how was that" then a full loop followed by loop and rolls combined. All the time checking in to see how I feel and how the "G's" are. Then the real fun.
Under Cam's calm expert guidance he passed over the controls. The pictures in this review are of me in control doing loops and rolls. Remember to ask for the video as it is so hard to explain to people what it is like to be flying vertically. A great gift for someone who is hard to buy for. What an amazing gift from my wife to be able to take to the sky in the L-39C Albatros.

Spectacular Experience Very spectacular experience. Very beautiful views that are turned upside down and amazing sensation when doing the acrobatics. Great pilot Cameron and Paul offering great service. Did not want the flight to end.

I received this experience as a gift from my girlfriend and I have to say in the pretty solid list of awesome activities I've done from freediving with humpback whales through to racing cars on the track, this is one of the best experiences someone can ask for. Perfect weather, amazing team of people on the ground and in the air. You will not regret doing this or gifting it to someone. 6 stars if I could.

Incredible experience. Although it turns out I don't really have the stomach for high-G aerobatics, I'm so glad to have done a barrel roll and a loop. The feeling of going from 4.5G during a climb to zero G at the top of the loop is something to behold.

Also loved seeing Brisbane and surrounds from that vantage point. It's a beautiful part of the world we live in.

I want to make this review as useful as possible, to help people decide if they want to do it, so I'm going to start with practical stuff and then cover the fun.

I'm 50, about 6 foot 3, overweight at 115kg, I have 4 herniated discs in my neck, as well as some back problems, and this in no way was impacted by my flight; it couldn't have been less of a factor. If I can do it, anyone with any reasonable level of health can.

Packages. I did the 30-minute package, and the length of time was good. I'd suggest that unless cost is a particular factor in your decision, do the 30-minute (Gold) or 40-minute (Platinum) package.

Now the good stuff, the flight, I don't want to go into too much detail because I want to allow people to discover the maneouvres performed for yourselves, but I will say the staff are friendly, professional, and just plane excellent (misspelling intentional). Scenery - you will be flying over some beautiful scenery, so plenty to enjoy just looking out the cockpit. Maneouvres - explained in advance with pilot demonstrating things like zero G and G forces. It was surprisingly smooth, literally remarkable how smooth the flight was. Then there are some very welcome additions to the flight which I want to let people discover for yourselves when you go for your flight.

Is it worth it? If you have a love of flying or just want to try something amazing and different, absolutely. If I could get approval from my wife, I'd do it again in the next few weeks. It was worth every cent.

Amazing experience My experience was absolutely amazing. Staff Paul & Cameron, pilot, were extremely friendly & professional. Felt safer in the air than I did driving on Brisbne roads. ( I came from Darwin lol ) . Extra special being able to relive the experience with family & friends due to excellent footage of the flight given to me to bring home. Will definitely do it again.

Outstanding! Booked as a gift for my Hubby’s 40th birthday! He loved it! Mark his pilot was amazing. Managed to get lots of acrobatics into the 20 min flight. Must-do Adventure This was a fantastic and unforgettable experience. I booked this as a treat to myself and it did not disappoint. All the pilots were incredibly humble, friendly and happy to share their craft - their experience shines through with a casual confidence that really made the experience even more memorable. Cameron, my pilot, was lovely and he took me around in his L39 jet so I could experience 4G with some aerobatics. He was even kind enough to let me fly the jet through a loop and a roll or two!
