Haven’t been diving lately and want a quick scuba refresher? 
Our Padi refresher dive is the perfect way to update your dive skills and knowledge from your Open Water Diver Course before jumping back into the water. Whether you want a few reminders or to go over the basics, our Refresher is personalized towards your needs.


Tour Details

  • Theory Review: Go over the basics of scuba diving and complete the Reactivate quiz in the comfort of the classroom,  address any questions you may have.
  • Skills Session: Rebuild your confidence with a shore dive, beginning in the shallows. 
  •  Dive: Once your skills are tested and you feel confident, continue on to explore the marine life and surrounding corals at one of our favourite dive spots, with your instructor guiding the way.

The option to book in a double dive experience is also available!

Approximately 4 hours, depending on group size.

1:00pm on Fridays and 
Please plan ahead and arrive at least 10 minutes early to allow time for traffic and parking.

Inclusions
  • All scuba equipment: tanks and air fills, regulators, BCD, mask, snorkel, fins, wetsuit, hood, weights, and SMB
  • Theory and skills to assist refreshing your skills before and during the dive 
  • An ocean dive at a location selected by the dive instructor 

What to Bring/Wear
  • Diving Certification, electronic or physical.
  • if required your dive medical certificate from a doctor
  • Bring a towel, bathers, and something warm and dry to wear afterwards. 
  • We recommend bringing a drink and snacks

Participant Conditions
  • This experience is only suitable for individuals with a minimum of PADI Open Water Diver certification or the equivalent.
  • A refresher is recommended if you have not dived in more than 12 months 
  • Minimum 3 participants per tour.
  • A medical form must be filled out prior to your tour commencing
  • Please do not dive if pregnant or trying to fall pregnant. 
Medical
  • If you know you have a medical condition that may affect your scuba dive, please request our medical form before booking.
  • Once booked, you will receive the medical form in your confirmation email. This must be completed before arrival, as you may require approval from a doctor to participate.

  • Please arrive 10 minutes prior to the start time.
  • If you experience difficulty on the day, we can arrange a separate one-on-one dive with your instructor (additional fees apply).

When to arrive
During peak times, travel to the Peninsula can be delayed due to high traffic congestion.
Please allow extra travel time, as well as time to park your vehicle and freshen up so that we may commence your tour as scheduled.
If you arrive late, especially without notice, your tour may be reduced or forfeited.

What to bring
Water-based activities: bathers, towel, hat, sunscreen, sunglasses, warm & dry change of clothes.
Land-based activities: towel, hat, sunscreen and closed heel shoes.
Please dress for comfort and for the weather.

Medical Information
It is recommended that any guest with a medical condition fill in a medical statement (attached) prior to the tour.
Adequate medical advice should be sought prior to any activity including but not limited to the following: asthma, diabetes, epilepsy, heart or lung conditions, ear injury, pregnancy & seasickness.

Weather
In some instances, weather may change unexpectedly and a tour may need to be rescheduled at the last minute. If you have concerns regarding the weather, please call to discuss, or you can also see our terms and conditions for more information.
PS. The sun shines more in Portsea than Melbourne!

Parking
The Portsea public car park is 2 hour parking from December until April.
All day parking is available in the car park behind the BayPlay shop or on Franklin Rd.
Direction Information: Location
Parking at Point Nepean is available at the Quarantine Station – this can also be busy during peak times.
