Description:
Departing from our Barracks Street Jetty Office, we suit up and get
ready. After some informative training to get comfortable on a Segway, we
depart past the Bell Tower into Elizabeth Quay. Your Tour Guide will provide
the group with commentary on your beautiful surroundings, culture and history while
we enjoy the atmosphere and views. Passing the Old Swan Brewery with its wealth
of history, there will be photographs in front of the Blue Boatshed, the most
photographed building in Perth.
Following getting your memorable photo, you will travel past the
University of Western Australia’s Main campus. You’ll travel into Kings Park
through Poole Avenue and stop for a short break and a lovely walk around the
beautiful Parkland or a quick Q and A with your tour guide, you’re back on the
Segway for an adventure through the natural and unkempt trails of Kings Park,
viewing wildflowers, plants and wildlife.
You’ll stop at the Septimus Roe lookout, getting an insight into the
inspiration and design of Perth’s City Centre. The Firefighters Memorial Grove
and DNA tower is next as we continue past the botanical section of the park and
the Pioneer Women’s Memorial Park. With time to get a photo and introduction
into the rich Aboriginal Culture surrounding the Boab Tree, you’ll continue
past the State War Memorial, remembering our fallen Soldiers. With the best
views out towards Perth City, Heirisson Island and the Perth Hills, you’ll
travel down Fraser Avenue through the Avenue of Trees and past the Bali
Memorial.
Heading back through the city, you’ll find the Edith Cowan Memorial,
the first Observatory of Perth, WA Parliament House and the Pensioners Guard
Gate House. History follows you as you safely descend back to the Segway
office, wondering where the time went.

From us Scots, thanks Emilia 🏴 🤝 🇦🇺
The tour started nervously for me but the team were really gentle and kind to get me going.
Highly recommend and will do another one when we next visit.
Melinda and Terry Batten.
Our guide James was very good. Patient training all the participants to get us confident on the Segway's, encouraging while we were out and informative.
Trip is quite short and it would be nice to have a longer option to see more.
It was 90 minutes of a well informed and knowledgeable tour by Jason
Both Jason and Faith were very patient as never ridden a Segway before
Excellent domestication given on how to ride safely
Highly recommend this tour
Thanks guys
Marion and Mark
Led by great tour guides Winona and Faith.
Takes a little patience to learn how to control and move but they had me up and about quickly.
Lovely tour through Kings Park.Best way too see it with photo stops along the way.
Highly recommended
Highly recommended whether you've lived here for years, just arrived or passing through. 10/10
The knowledge of the tour guide was first rate. He knew the history of the island, from the First Nations people, through the war years, to current, plus the unique island biodiversity. He answered questions easily and was friendly throughout. The new guide, who was learning, was also attentive to everything that was happening around us, ensuring that the other visitors to the island did not impact on our experience.
the offroad trails were the best. so much to see and so much fun.
I would highly recommend to anyone who visits Rottnest Island to do the Segway tour. It was so much fun and personal. Thank you to the staff for their professionalism and treating us as friends, not just paying customers.
In addition, Winona can speak Mandarin! 英文不太好的小夥伴也可以來,Weiwei非常有耐心!
Her commentary on the city and especially King Park was great.
Segways easy to ride and a whole lot of fun
Seth was a really good guide. He explained the working of Segway very clearly.
As a guide he was excellent and very funny.
It was a lovely experience and I recommend it everyone. Age no barrier.
One more tick on my bucket list.
BEWARE
Never been on a segway before but husband and I had no problems with some good guidance from the tour leader and practice before hitting the road.
