State: WA

Duration:

7h
We will explore areas within an easy distance of Perth that offer us a great opportunity to photograph Australian animals, beautiful seascapes and an iconic West Australian sunset ( weather permitting). We will have a picnic by the beach.

From Perth we will drive through part of the Swan Valley and head to Caversham Wildlife Park in time to experience their Meet the Wombat and friends interactive experience with 20 Australian mammals, birds and reptiles are on hand to photograph. We will also visit the Kangaroo enclosure where we can get up close and personal to feed the kangaroos.

Heading West towards the coast to a beach that offers limestone cliffs, white sands and often fishermen on the beach giving us foreground interest as we enter the golden hour.

We will then have a picnic by the beach, a favourite West Australian social occasion before photographing the sunset.

All levels of photography are catered for from beginner to professional, phones, point and press cameras to the latest DLSR model. We have knowledge of different makes and models of camera including full framed, cropped sensor and micro four thirds. We can provide tripods if required at a small cost.

A DLSR camera can be hired at a cost of $100 plus a $250 dollar refundable deposit if required.

We provide:

Transport to and from our pickup point, Guildford Train Station (hotel pickup can be arranged at a small charge)

Water, afternoon tea and a picnic by the beach

Photographic input from a professional photographer

Park entry fees

Please note: start time will change depending on sunset times

Thank you for booking with Capture the Light Photographic Tours. If you have any special dietary requirements, have limited mobility or require any special assistance contact us prior to departure so that we can ensure everything is in place for you to enjoy this amazing tour to its fullest extent.
Please bring your camera ideally with a telephoto lens for the animals and a wide angle lens for the sunset but if you don’t have those don’t worry. Please make sure you have a fully charged battery for your camera and a spare if you have one. Please make sure you have plenty of space on your memory card. Don’t forget to bring water, sunscreen, bug spray and a sunhat. It can get chilly in the evening near the ocean so bring an extra layer for the evening.
We will require a waiver to be signed before departure. We will have copies of these available on the day but I have attached one for your reference.
