WINE + GARDEN
Demystify the whole wine tasting experience by joining us for a unique wine experience in our wine sensory garden at Whicher Ridge! Pick + Sip is an in-depth wine tasting adventure with the winemaker herself learning about different grape varieties, where wine flavours come from, different winemaking styles and pick up heaps of ideas for pairing wine with food
The Wine Sensory Garden is the centre piece of our Pick + Sip experience. The Garden’s plantings of fruit trees, herbs, flowers and seasonal vegetables describe the flavours in a wine, and how to match the flavours, textures and styles of our wines with food. Cathy, the winemaker and gardener, is your guide.
The Pick + Sip experience includes tasting and learning about 4 of the small batch wines made at Whicher Ridge by Cathy and Neil.
The tour and tasting winds its way through the various varietal wine sections in the wine sensory garden, with ample time for visitors to take in the sights, smells and tastes in each section, before progressing to the next one.
At the end of the Pick + Sip experience you will receive one of our wine themed dried herb collections to take home.

We arranged a Pick, Sip and Sup experience and it was a personal educative delight, and unique so far as I know. It is worth finding the way there for this alone - Cathy is a passionate exponent of wine, techniques and the ways to produce the best texture in a wine.
I recommend you persevere to get there - Google maps may misdirect you - but it is thoroughly worth the effort however and Cathy and Neil are worth finding in the myriad of wineries around the Busselton region.

What an experience to taste such delicious wines while chatting about them with the wine maker! Thanks Kathy for making our day.

Polly the resident dog works front of house, greeting us at the car. Cathy walked us to the cellar door and walked us through a tasting of 5 very good wines. The Cabernet Sauvignon was a stand out for me and Mrs C was a big fan of the rosé.
The hard work Neil does, hand pruning, obviously pays off. Great job.
Highly recommended.
