At East Coast Angling, we strive to provide our customers with a memorable experience while safeguarding our business and other customers interests who may want to book the exact dates or equipment. We understand that plans can change, and we are here to assist you if you need to cancel your reservation. We appreciate your cooperation in providing us with sufficient notice to enable us to fill your spot. Payment: Payment details for your booking are as follows: When your booking is made, the tour cost must be paid in full to secure your spot. Please note that payment can be made via our secure online payment portal or other payment methods we offer. Kindly ensure the payment is made in the currency stated in your booking confirmation to avoid any issues. If you have any questions or concerns regarding payment, please do not hesitate to contact us. Cancellation policy: To ensure that you have a stress-free and enjoyable fishing trip, we highly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance when booking. Please ensure that the insurance policy covers any lost fishing days due to inclement weather or other unforeseeable events. • If you cancel your reservation more than 10 months before the scheduled departure date, we will refund 50% of your deposit. However, if we find a replacement for your spot, we will refund 100% of your deposit, less a $300 administration fee. As many of our clients book well in advance, the more notice you give us, the better our chances of finding a replacement booking. • If you cancel your reservation less than 6 months before the scheduled departure date, we will retain all payments made towards the reservation. If we have to discount the trip to sell it, we will refund your deposit less the discounted amount and any associated costs such as advertising and administration. As it is close to the departure date, finding a replacement may be challenging, but we will still make every effort to do so. • Although it is rare, unforeseeable circumstances such as extreme weather may lead to the cancellation of your trip. In the event of trip cancellation, any refunds will be subject to the terms of your travel insurance policy, which should cover cancellations or reductions in trip duration, rescheduling of flights and accommodation. We regret that we cannot offer refunds for unforeseeable circumstances, but we will provide all necessary documentation to support your insurance claim. Conduct: Please be aware that fishing in the open ocean can be hazardous. To ensure the safety of all passengers, it is essential to follow the rules and directions provided by the crew while onboard. Failure to comply may result in the tour cancellation for your safety. Changes Our company takes your safety seriously and strives to ensure that every charter is enjoyable and safe. However, due to the unpredictable nature of the weather and unforeseen circumstances, there may be times when we need to cancel or reschedule your charter. If this happens, we will work with you to find a solution that meets your needs. Please understand that changes to your tour may be necessary to ensure your safety and satisfaction. Our top priority is to provide you with a memorable and safe experience, and we will do everything possible to make that happen. Equipment ECA will provide all fishing gear, bait, and tackle required for the tour. You are responsible for any loss or damage caused to the equipment due to negligence, irresponsible behaviour, or failure to comply with the rules or directions provided by the crew. You are welcome to bring your own fishing equipment if it is safe, functional, and suitable for the tour. You can supply your own equipment if it is in safe and functioning condition and suitable for the Tour.
