It was helpful that our group could stay connected via WhatsApp, especially since we split up during the tour.
However, we were disappointed that we didn’t receive any background information about the places we visited. It felt more like a pleasant driving service than a guided tour.
We also would have appreciated more time at the Three Sisters lookout.
First of all, a big thank you to Marcio from the booking team for being so friendly and helpful in confirming my booking!
And our amazing tour guide, 🌟🌟Fernando—he was so friendly, bright nice energy, and guided us perfectly. From early morning, everyone was on time, I 100000% recommend him🙂🙂🙂 Thank you so much! He also drove safely and kindly, it was 12hours full day fantadtic trip. making the whole trip even better, and even took photos for us 🌟
Seeing dolphins and kangaroos was absolutely incredible🐬🐬 We had so much fun and it truly was an unforgettable day exploring the South Coast of NSW!🙂💖
Thank you so much, Mate Tour team! I’d love to join another tour with you again in the future! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
We had the mini bus was not comfortable at all and i dont recommended for long tour, as we seated at the last two raw and it was smaller from the other seats and not comfortable and noisy.
The bus driver was a nice guy but sometimes was going right and left having nit good control of the bus it felt unsafe.
The pick up was from paramatta which is very good and drop off to Parramatta.
Thanks
Positive points: Thredbo is a wonderful destination for those who love nature, snow, and stunning landscapes. We had fun and created memorable moments throughout the trip.
Points for improvement: The journey was on a small coach, and the approximately 6-hour ride felt a bit tiring. The seats were narrow and didn’t recline, which reduced comfort. Another important detail is that the company’s website contains conflicting information: one section mentions accommodation in Thredbo Village, while another says the hostel is a 50-minute bus ride from the park. These differences can lead to inaccurate expectations.
Even with these minor adjustments to consider, I recommend the experience for anyone who wants to visit Thredbo with Mate Tours. The destination is worth it, and with a few improvements, the trip could be perfect.
Had an exceptional experience, was a bit tipsy by the end of it. The guide was great, sorry I forgot your name its been a year- he also threw in some fun extras which I won't spoil for you.
Great value for money!
1. If the weather is not ok, just please cancel the tour - most of the people are coming to see the sights in blue mountains and not the fog and just drive for fun.
2. Let the guide be more entertaining in respect to information about the places we visit - what, where, when and some fun facts. This will compensate the lack of sight and balance the tour.
That is the worst tour in Australia that I visited - I have to google on my own all the information about the waterfall, the rocks and the sky cable.
Thank you Mac
We can summarize James' work as follows: if you have had the opportunity to be guided by him, words are not necessary; If you haven't yet, words won't be enough.
Yours sincerely,
Paulo Afonso Lopes da Silva and Edna Maria Galvão de Oliveira
Memorable times especially at Wentworth falls and Lincoln Rocks, which are unmissable. Last, starting the tour with an easy stop at featherdale sanctuary enables a smooth uncrowded visit. Congrats, you made our day!

We highly recommend Mate Tours and will definitely use them again for other tours.
Kind regards Suman
Highly recommended.
Scenery was beautiful. We saw lots of dolphins in Jervis Bay!
Be prepared for a 3 hour drive each way.
Appreciated having the beach time
