We had the best time with Hunter Valley Winery Tours, especially with Rebecca! She was so lovely, friendly and made the whole day so enjoyable. The tour was organised really well and it was such a fun and relaxing way to experience the Hunter Valley.

Very disappointed We did half a day private wine tour for family visiting from overseas
The tour was meant to included 3 wineries which is what we got
First one was great the host was lovely
Second one was ok
Third one was hardly interested in doing it
The tour was meant to include a cheese platter which we did not get and was very disappointed as we had elderly parents with us
We were also
Meant to do a cheese or chocolate tasting which was not even mentioned
The price we paid for it was extremely expensive for what it was
Would never recommend it with this company

Great tour My wife and I did a private couples tour for half a day, vising 3 fantastic cellar doors. Our host, Rebecca was fantastic and the cellar doors were small, out of the way vineyards that we probably would not have visited on our own. Was a great tour.

Full Day wine tour After using Hunter Valley private Wine Tours several times I can not recommend them highly enough. From girls weekends to weekends with family Rebecca has always taken so much care and attention to our wants and needs including accomodating my parents with health issues to ensure they had a great time as well. Each trip has been different and is always so much fun. I will not use anyone else.

Great tour in the Hunter I have used Hunter Valley Private Tours twice now & have found them to be extremely professional, but still very personable. The lovely Rebecca is fantastic to deal with & has organised some great places to eat & drink at. I have used some larger tour companies, but for the price & what you actually get, I couldn't go past Hunter Valley Private Tours.

She brought us to the best boutique vineyards and wineries in Hunter Valley where we received one one one attention from each place we visited. Great trip - perfect trip! We'd never been to the hunter before; the team were great in helping us settle in from the pick up and were amazing guides to the area and what to do!
I think the best part was that they're open to moulding the experience to what works for you and you can do a different trip each time when you surely return!

I organised my tour of the Hunter valley with Rebecca and wanted to create a special occasion, and truly she done just that for me, her local knowledge, experience and general persona was much more than we could ask for. Gareth the photographer took some amazing shots for us and captured more that we ever expected, we now have a complete album to remember our amazing time. I am definitely going to be returning to the hunter again and would not hesitate to contact her if I need to organise anything or even for some recommendations. Perfect day in the Hunter We recently engaged Hunter Valley Private Tours for a customised, full day tour. Our driver and guide, Rebecca, was brilliant.

The tour included a number of boutique vineyards we were familiar with, and noteably, one that Bec suggested. The day was seamless from start to finish, and the approach was calm, professional and good humoured at all times.

The highlight was undoubtedly the last winery of the day (Bec's booking), which not only guided us through their amazing standard tasting list, but then a host of "non-standard" samplings as well. Despite the unexpected hour or so extra, there was no clock watching, we never felt rushed, and the hospitality from both our hosts and our tour company was generous and genuine.

We will be back.

One of my friends organised a half day tour with Rebecca for our visit - 8 people. We went to 2 wineries & also lunch. The wineries were smaller in nature so we were not rushed and well looked after. We were early to our 2nd winery, so Rebecca organised us to visit a cheese shop. When we got to the cheese shop, we were placed in a separate area with different cheeses available to be tasted. Whilst we were at lunch, Rebecca even went to the chemist to pick up a product one of our group needed urgently. Overall I would highly recommend Hunter Valley Private Tours when looking to visit wineries in the Hunter Valley.

I'd give 10/5 stars if I could. I had a special occasion in mind for my SO, and Rebecca was able to accommodate my specific requests, to ensure maximal surprise for our "Perfect" day. For special occasions, Hunter Valley Private Tours is the best place to go to, I have reviewed other options in the area, and for its price point is undoubtedly the best value for money easily after reviewing my options in the area. Gareth, was an amazing photographer and was got extremely great shots, and was extremely generous with the shots, which is what you are after if you want to capture the moment. A lot of photographers have a limit of X amount of photos they will take, but in our case Hunter Valley Private Tours was extremely generous in all aspects. It was also extremely assuring throughout preparing for the special day, that Rebecca was able to take phone calls, and text messages to go over the plan. The wine tours themselves are also a great experience, and the pick of the wineries are also very reflective of the regions, with some of the quaint areas recommended to be a very nice surprise. One of the areas we went to called, the hanging tree was certainly a highlight, a long-ago retired cattle farm, with elements of decor from its past through its infrastructure, vehicles and equipment. Gives it a great rustic vibe with subtle hints to the rich history of the area too. So! if you're looking to have a 'special' experience with Hunter Valley Private tours with your SO, and have a plan involved with various layers of complexities, give these folks a call!

Couldnt recomment this company enough! We used Hunter Valley Private Tours for a girls weekend and it was perfect! Our driver Gareth was so friendly and took all of our loud and crazy antics with a laugh. The winery choices were almost all perfect and lunch was amazing! And then to solidify the amazing customer service that this company lives by, Rebecca (who was the booking contact) made sure she dropped by to introduce herself and say hello when we were are at a crossover location. Best Tour in the Hunter! My wife and I have been on MANY tours through the Hunter Valley, and hands down this was the best. From the time Gareth picked us up (in Sydney at 0800) to the time we were dropped off, the experience was exceptional. Nothing was too hard for Rebecca and her team, which made our day so much more enjoyable. To top it off, Gareth was fantastic and easy to talk too. He exhibited exceptional knowledge of the region and wineries and you could tell his passion for their region and their customers. We will definitely be back. Trust us, it was worth every cent!
