- Suitable for beginners and all abilities
If you can tie a knot, you can be a macrame expert in no time. This fun hands-on craft workshop will show you how, as you knot your own wall hanging. Don’t be surprised if once you start, you can’t stop! Bring your own tipple to add to the fun.
Get crafty at this hands on macrame workshop. The popular seventies textile art has been making a comeback, and at this three hour hands-on workshop you’ll be making your own boho-cool wall hanging to take home.
Learn what you need to get started, and the basic knots to master, from a larkshead and reverse larkshead to attach to your frame, to the half and square knots that will make up the majority of your hanging. Once you master those, don’t be surprised at how quickly your work of art will take shape. With everything crafty provided, all you need to bring is some nibbles and something to drink.

Highly recommend for all ages 😀
The staff were fantastic as were the others in the group. Definitely recommended for the artist looking for new inspiration or an absolutely new novice.
The course to learn about Resin Art was so much fun and we had something to show, tell and use after (large lazy Susan and Charcuterie board) This was a great Christmas pressie to each other and an activity we will do again for sure. 5stars easily.
You were organised, helpful and patient whilst teaching us these new skills.
So happy with my new creation ???? Karen
Tammy was a truly wonderful facilitator. She gave us very clear instructions and did a demo piece to show us. She was hands-on friendly and assisted us where needed, but allowed us to do as much as we wanted on our individual pieces.
An easy to get to location just off the M1 near Yatala with onsite parking. Also an on-site cafe that does very good coffee.
I highly recommend DIY Invasion to everyone who wants to experience the fun and creativity of resin art.
Plenty of space for food and cake, activity options and of course the splash room! So much fun!!
It has coffee, food and toilets.
Great service and friendly staff.
One minute is that it was very hot ???? need like AC
I would highly recommend this class
We had a great time pouring resin on to coasters and a serving board, with our creative sides taking the lead selecting colours and techniques. The final products were beautiful and we're looking forward to using them at home next weekend.
Highly recommend this company to anyone wanting to try out resin art, as I'm hooked :)
