A must-do! This is a must-do tour, it's very different than the Great Ocean Road Tour. It's an active tour, starting with a picturesque hike through a forest to an ocean view. There is a walk along a tidal river to another lovely viewpoint, then a walk on Squeaky Beach and a tour of a Wildlife Park to look for kangaroos and emus and wombats. This is the second oldest national park in the world, and is beloved by Melburnians. Ryan was a wonderful tour guide, looking after everyone and making sure to get to know everyone throughout the day. He really likes people, and was cheerful the entire 15 hour day. He helped make the day really fun.

Awesome Tour - Recommend Doing in a van. This was a great tour. It was a small group of only 5 people, which made it very nice. While a long day, we had a lot of great stops in this spectacular part of Australia and never felt rushed. Our guide, Tessa, was excellent. She is a wonderful driver on some windy roads. She really knew this area like the back of her hand. The Great Ocean Road has to be one of the best drives in the world.

Recommendation: this tour was great because it was a van vice a bus. With the small parking lots and windy roads, I highly recommend this tour or an operator that uses a van or advertises “small group”

The van we took was clean, new, air conditioning was brilliant, also had some fresh air with the windows down at times! Lovely way to spend the day, I’d you want a chillaxed kind of day, with mind blowing scenery!
If Jayda ever gets a bad review? It will never be her that’s the problem, it will be the passenger! Thanks for a smashing day!

Great Day on the Great Ocean Drive and other goodies. We had a great time with Jayda on this tour. She’s friendly and informative and made it very interesting. The landscape we saw on the drive was a great way to get to know this part of the country. The 12 Apostles, the great lunch..(where I spotted three new birds!!) many koalas, kangaroo.. and a beautiful long scenic drive back along the Great Ocean Drive made for a lovely day. We even stopped for a walk through a temperate rainforest which was just beautiful.

Koalas for everybody! A definite highlight of my week in Melbourne! Storm and flood damage caused most of the Ocean Road to be inaccessible, but the team at Hike & Seek did well to make adjustments and ensure that it was still a full day of exploration and experience in this little corner of Australia. LOTS of koala spotting!!! Totally the energy and vibe of hanging out with pals, and our guide Jayden was supreme to lead us, set the tone, and share stories, facts, trivia, and laughs. We got a good look at things unique to this region, and the lunch spot was high caliber. Excellent communication, nice new van, plenty of time off the van, and a good bite of what amazing-ness Australia has to offer. Would love to do a deeper dive with this crew on another outing soon, I hope!

A stunning day out at Wilson’s Prom Pat was a brilliant guide for the day keeping us well informed on interesting facts about the Prom and wider Victoria on the drive (stopping in a a delightful bankers to pic up lunch!) before taking us to Big Drift, up Mt. Bishop, into Tidal River and over to Squeaky Beach (where we had a sip in the sea) before rounding out our time in the Prom on a nature walk spotting local wildlife.

The day started with pick up at 7.30am from the Melbourne meeting point and returned us for 7.30pm - a full day and with the offering of tailored options as to where we most wanted to spend our time throughout our day.

Amazing experience! We had an incredible time exploring the great ocean road with our tour guide Aaron! Honestly couldn’t have asked for a better guide for the long day. He was kind and personable, which made the time fly by. He was also very knowledgeable about everything in Australia, from animals to politics and everything in between. We were lucky enough to see a wallaby, four different koalas with two being very up close, and kangaroos! The team does a brilliant job of bringing the small groups to non-touristy areas to have the best chance at seeing some spectacular wildlife. 10/10 would recommend booking with tour guide Aaron!

Great way to see Melbourne as a solo traveler I booked this trip as a solo traveler and I'm so happy I went. The tour guide was super friendly, had great music for the drive there and back, and made sure everyone felt included. Everyone on the hike was delightful, and the views were amazing. Fun in the rain Andrew was amazing. He has "great ideas" our crew of 6 people was great. The food at the perch was good, it was hailing at the 12 apostles but Andrew made a quick change to make sure we got the most out of everything. Would recommend to anyone.

Amazing day out hiking in the Grampians Must-do hiking trip to the Grampians. Such an awesome day out, and our guide Kurtin was superb - helpful, friendly and always ensuring the group was OK and engaged.

Great hike experience at the Grampians We had a small group at the tour. Whilst the hike up was slightly challenging physically (at certain steep steps) for me, we were rewarded with amazing views at the pinnacle and the waterfall. Our guide Andrew is patient, knowledgeable and a very experienced hiker. The weather was beautiful too! It was a great experience and I look forward to visiting the Grampians National Park again

A Relaxing Escape from the city Had a fantastic day in Mornington today! The hiking trail was beautiful with delightful sea view, and the hot spring afterward were the perfect way to relax. Our guides(Aaron and Andrew) were extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and made the whole experience enjoyable. The pace was perfectly chill - not rushed at all, giving us plenty of time to take in the scenery and enjoy each moment. They were attentive to everyone's needs and created a wonderful atmosphere throughout the day. Highly recommend this tour for anyone looking for a perfect blend of nature and relaxation!

Spectacular day! 12 apostles must see! The day was amazing!! The 12 apostles is spectacular. Plus you get to see so much of Australia including koalas & kangaroos. Mark our tour guide was a true delight. He was so friendly, kind, accommodating & super knowledgeable. I would give him 20 stars if I could. Loved the small group. Great tour Marcus was the best tour guide we had on the multiple tours we had on our entire 16 day holiday. I was particularly impressed that he found wild koalas for us when the larger tour buses were looking in all the wrong places. The man is a legend.

Excellent trip and well organized It was a very nice trip!! Maccus (not sure if I spell his name right) was super nice, talkative and caring. He took nice photos. And it was very nice of him to walk slowly with me to make sure I could catchup with the other couple who walked very fast. I will recommend this trip to my friends!

I took the Grampians one day tour and it was excellent! I'm a local, but hadn't made it out to the Grampians yet, and this was a perfect intro and day trip. Our guide, Andrew, was great. We started off with a longer hike and had lunch at the top of the pinnacles and then went over to see the waterfall and a short walk past the falls. It was a lovely day and I highly recommend Hike and Seek.

Went on a day trip to the Grampians with Hike & Seek. Our guide, Marcus, was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. He made sure everyone was safe and kept an eye out for hazards during the hike. He shared his knowledge about the local flora and fauna, as well as the history of the region and other towns that we passed along the way. His passion was infectious and we thoroughly enjoyed the tour. The itinerary is well planned with enough time for photos and breaks. Highly recommended.

Great scenic day tour from Melbourne This tour was a great way to experience Wilson Prom if you only have one day. The drive on either end is long but worth it. The bakery stop on the way there was amazing, so many great options. First stop was at the Big Drift which was very impressive. Not long enough to venture too far in but enough to appreciate. Next stop was Squeaky Beach. Since everyone brought/bought lunch ahead of time we were able to spend extra time at the beach and eat there. That gave us enough time to swim which was wonderful. Next stop was a hike up Mount Bishop which provided an amazing view of the coast. It never felt too steep but we climbed a lot of elevation. Final stop was a natural walk but unfortunately we didn’t see any kangaroos or wombats as they might have been scared a way by the recent construction. Mark (and Dino) was a great guide. He is super friendly and passionate about nature and being a tour guide. He kept us informed and entertained the whole way. Highly recommended!

A Special Great Ocean Road Very nice! Heading to attractions that other travel tours wont go (especially love the little hike in the Otways). Also the Gibson Steps and Apollo Bay is nice, love our tour guide Andrew who brings us along the way with his nice driving all across.

Good small tour. Knowledgable guide. I like how the lunch is not a prepacked sandwich but a visit to a local restaurant which serves a hot meal with a good view (for the 12 apostles great ocean road trip)

Wonderful Tour Experience Lorinda was organized, punctual, and polite. We enjoyed the tour. The lunch spot was fantastic. We were lucky that there were few people, making the tour feel almost private.

We had a wonderful experience. Saw herds of Kangaroos, wallabies emus and parrots during our trip. Patrick was an excellent guide. He was patient And helped our elderly father in law make it up to the Pinnacle. We really enjoyed ourselves

Amazing! Marcus was great! Shared a lot of his experiences and very knowledgeable. The entire trip was easy going at a perfect pace. Some of us even went swimming during this time!

One for the books! What a delight! The bakery on the way was delicious. The hike was about 7 miles. We saw wallabies, spectacular views and an echidna. Then it was off to the Koala Sanctuary. It's very touching that there is so much space for them and some had been rescued during the wildfires. After that we did another small walk where we could see rescued penguins nesting, grey geese and more wallabies. The penguin parade was pure joy. I would suggest going to the far gift shop before popping down because it gets crowded straight afterwards. Seeing the penguins emerging out of the ocean, wait til there are enough to waddle up the beach to goto their homes was delightful. Really a wonderful outing that is such a special day.

Exceptional experience. Pat C was an absolute cracker. True Aussie tour guide, you couldn’t ask for anything better. I got way more out of the day then they advertised, with close to 10 stops.
The whole experience was about 13 hours. I got my tickets from Red Balloon, but hide and seek sell their own too.
Amazing views, stops, and experiences. I would recommend anyone that has a spare day in Melbourne to book in with these guys. They provided one of the best memories over my holiday.

The Great Ocean Road was Great My small group tour was just two people plus our guide Will so it was like having a personal tour guide and a great value. The way they do the tour in 'reverse,' starting at the 12 Apostles and working back to the east also paid big dividends as we never ran into large crowds or larger tour buses at our various stops. Will was very chill, never rushed us, and made sure we had the full experience of the Great Ocean Road. We did not do well for seeing wildlife but that was no one's fault. The tour involves a lot of driving but unavoidable when starting from Melbourne. I was very impressed by Will's driving and time management. I thought the stop for lunch was a bit pricey for the amount of food but not the quality. Overall it was a very enjoyable day and I would highly recommend.

Exprienced Guide with great service and atmosphere small group great atmosphere, and Guide so friendly and came to walk with us everytime and keep telling us the story behind ect. Also know where can spot wild animals surely exprienced. definetelly consider with them next time and introduce to my friends.

Great Hike It was a great hike! I can't remember the name of the guide but it was something starting with an M I think Anyways he was a great guide and we had very nice chats on the tour. We got everything done, even though we had some people for whom the hike was challenging constitution wise and one of them stopped before the top view. I wouldn't consider the hike itself challenging, I would say it was easy to medium, but you need some constitution since you are going on kind of a schedule. That makes it a little challenging, so I would say a good base fitness helps. Keep in mind that this is a hike. It's not a sight seeing tour. It's not a lot of nice little picture stops or places with something to say about from the guide. The main part is quite literally hiking. Nothing really to say about it by the guide. But he was good company. We had three little stops after the hike: a neat waterfall that was indeed great for pictures, a place for some food/ice-cream and a stop to see emus/kangaroos. Apparently usually there are emus there and sometimes kangaroos as well, when we were there there were no emus but a lot of kangaroos also with some baby's (which Have a name but I forgot it. Something like jolly I believe) which was lovely to see. They were very relaxed and we were able to get quite close. Other than that we had a stop on the way there for food and a stop to hit the toilets. Coffee and tea was on board which was also great. All in all it was a great hike and I would do it again! (even though I'm not sure the word tour is quite fitting. It's more like a guided hike - which is great with someone who knows the locations)

An Excellent Day Tour with a Great Guide I highly recommend this day tour! Seeing the Great Ocean Road was one of the highlights of my trip to Australia and I'm so grateful to Shane, our guide, for making the trip such a memorable one! He not only showed us some of the most spectacular sights, but he also made sure we were able to spot some wildlife during the tour including kangaroos and koalas. It was definitely a long day, but well worth the time and money.

Excellent one-day tour from Melbourne This is an excellent one-day tour from Melbourne. The driver and guide, Marcus, was friendly, knowledgeable and lots of fun. Expect a good solid hike (pretty easy but a good walk all the same), spectacular views from the beach, lunch and to top it off, the hot springs are amazing. Hike and Seek offers a really great way to experience this part of Victoria. I'm a local Melburnian, and I find this is a convenient and enjoyable way to experience my state and meet other friendly people. Highly recommended.

Best tour we did in Melbourne! This tour was one of the highlights of our trip to Australia. Everything went perfeclty: the car was comfortable and spacious, the group size was small enough that we got to know the other guests but also allowed us to keep to ourselves if we felt like it. Views were astounding, undoubtedly some of the most beautiful we’ve ever seen! Our tour guide Shane was great and knowledgeable and knew exactly where to take us. We spotted emus, wombats and kangurus and saw them up close and running free, which was a much better experience than the wildlife sancutaries. We could not recommend Hike and Seek enough!

I heartily recommend this tour - a great experience A perfect experience from start to finish. a small group and great sights. Shane was always there with a 10/10, helpful, could explain a lot and has great photo tricks. we were provided with coffee, tea energy balls and bananas.

Great experience in Grampians National Park! I am very grateful to the tour guide and driver. From picking us up early in the morning to walking tours and finally sending us back to the city, He was full of energy!
It is amazing that our mental and physical strength has dropped rapidly from the Pinnacle stone path to the waterfall! Everyone fell asleep on the return trip, but the driver still didn't even yawn!
Also, I met a group of new friends to visit those amazing sceneries!
Besides the CBD, there are many natural landscapes in Melbourne, which are worth visiting!
But have to be attention to the weather forecast before signing up, those sceneries are even more beautiful!
Highly recommend to people who like the natural environment!

There’s a reason why this trip has 5 stars across the board 10 out of 10 experience! We saw kangaroos, wallabies, wombats and the most beautiful vistas on this wonderful planet. I loved the small and intimate size of our exploring party, the people were cool, our guide Shane was great and overall, it was way better than I expected. Worth every penny — and to be honest, I would’ve paid more considering everything we got to experience.
