I’ve been up to the Gold Coast many times over 25 years and have never done this tour but there’s a first time for everything and so I decided to give it go. We thoroughly enjoyed it and glad we did it. The captain and lovely lass tour guide were fantastic. Have already recommended to family next time they visit.

Fun, Safe and a cool ride. A good tourist attraction, very informative host named Rhonda, she was fun and interacted with the kids, not our kids but others, we didn’t have any with us. The captain Marty was a great driver manoeuvring the duck through the busy streets of Surfers Paradise and a smooth decent into the Broadwater at Main Beach. The trip was just long enough not to get bored. Fun interaction with the crowds walking on the sidewalk when they sound the Quack horns, makes people laugh. The admission price was reasonable and they offer a discount for Pensioners and students. A good experience, have wanted to go on this for years since we are locals and have watched the Duck on a regular basis so we finally decided to do it.

Great way to take in a different view of the gold coast sitting up high while travelling on land around the coastal drag and having a splashing time as the bus enters the water. Loved the laughter as we quacked along the river discovered a view details about the local area we didn't know. Great fun for the whole family

Perfect for families with kids or seniors! Fun alternative to river cruise as the quack'r duck vehicle cruises through the river as well with matching quacks 😆. When in land, it's taller than buses haha! The guides were so fun and witty, enjoyed their commentaries throughout the tour!

What an experience!!...this is a to do if visiting Surfers Paradise.

Loved our trip today. Being much higher than a car gave us a great view. Hamish and Amanda were terrific, funny and informative. Loved the Dad jokes!! Was a nice touch for the kids to get a "tattoo" at no extra cost. The merchandise was good value - also a nice change. Highly recommend ⛱️😎

The Aqua Duck activity was so much fun from start to finish. The staff were amazing — super friendly, welcoming, and so well-organised both in the store and on the boat. Everything ran smoothly, and their energy made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend to anyone visiting — such a great team and an unforgettable time!

I saw Quack r duck on tiktok days before our family trip to the goldcoast and had to squeeze in a visit. So worth making time for, land and water adventure 😍. Kids loved it, nice tour, beautiful views and our guides have a lovely spirit, makes it that much more enjoyable. Got afew souvenirs to remember the experience ❤️. The family got the whistle, hat and soft toy 🦆. Unique experience and way of exploring, so cool.

Trip ok. Staffs onboard knowledgeable on view to share with guests as you cruise along, they also have good sense of humour. Staff at booking kiosk nice and helpful. Trip good for family with children.

Had such a great time with Quack’r Duck! From start to finish it was fun, unique, and really well run. The experience was both exciting and relaxing, with plenty to see and enjoy along the way. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and made the whole adventure easy and enjoyable. Everything felt safe and well-organized, and it’s definitely something I’d recommend to both locals and visitors. A fantastic way to spend a day out – we’ll definitely be back!

We took our Japanese students out on this and it was such a great way to spend the afternoon. Sophie at the front desk was so helpful, and the bus driver and tour guide were friendly and funny. A great day!

An entertaining way to have a bit of a look around the Surfers Paradise area. Good for adults too.

You will need to be able to get up and down a handful of quite steep stairs, so a bit of a challenge for those with limited mobility.

Certainly worth a try.

This was so much fun!! The duck horn absolutely made our day. Our 1yo is slowly learning how to say duck and was practising on the tour - she was so excited. Thanks for the great fun. I highly recommend it!

We had a great time on Quack'rDuck. We have been on a similar bus/boat in Rotorua New Zealand which was fun, so was excited to try this one too and was not disappointed. Interesting commentary, friendly staff, bus was nice and clean and comfortable. They looked after our pram in their office for us, and they had some super cute souvineers to buy on board, my kids wanted it all! Our children aged 6,4, and 9months all happily sat for the duration of the trip, so great for all ages!

Best tour on the Gold Coast! I think it's the best tour on the Gold Coast because it offers a unique experience of being on a bus that can enter the water and become a boat. It's extremely fun, especially when the bus transforms into a boat and you get to experience the beauty of the Gold Coast from a different perspective. I highly recommend it for families and tourists who want to have an exciting and memorable time.

Fun time with my friends, Lucas was an amazing tour guide (I learned a lot of fun facts) and even though I have lived here for a while, I have never seen it in such a beautiful way

I went on the tour with my friends this past weekend and it was fantastic!! It was an excellent and highly enjoyable tour! I got to capture some wonderful photos os the city, and I had a blast with the jokes from our guide Lucas, who also shared a lot of knowledge about the city’s landmarks. It’s a must-do tour!

Dry boring commentary Just ok. Commentary was as if reading from a script. The driver and guide were nice enough but they could engage with the passengers and have some fun!

Such an enjoyable experience. The guide was so funny! But be warned. Lots of kids and lots of families. This is not for couple who wants a quiet tour. It is very vibrant and very informative for tourists! Oh, and when it goes into the water, it is like seeing a car transforming into robot! I found it so fascinating and it was calming in the sea. So, if you can wait until they get to water to have some quiet couple moments, still do! I honestly felt like the tour was so short. I wanted to go on again at the end even though I was an adult XD

Last-minute decision, but it turned out to be a great surprise when a beautiful lady made an effort to squeeze us into the last tour during the wonderful sunset time. She claimed that it would be the highlight of our trip, and she was absolutely right. The team was highly professional and customer-friendly. The captain and his knowledgeable crew provided us with a delightful and unforgettable experience. Personally, I highly recommend this service and company for your tour.

We went to gold coast and booked in group on for tickets as there is discount. We called them and booked date and timing for our tour. It us one hour journey with 30 min drive in water .the driver and guide are very friendly and keeps on telling about surfers paradise as the trip goes on. It's good experience and I recommend it very much. Kids love it. They do take pictures on our phones. The guide came to every family and takes pics for them. They do sell quack duck related items. They did free temporary tattoo for kids as an activity. They planned 1 hour journey beutiful. It is very close to surfers paradise and walkable distance from novotel

Had the best time on the Gold Coast tour today. The commentator was hysterically funny and very informative. Highlight - seeing the hens party boat floating past us with those girls dancing.

Great fun adventure for families to see some sights of Gold Coast. The duck mobile drives on land and also through the waterways. The driver and guide provided great info on some of the expensive houses and who owns/owned them. Approx an hour and fifteen minutes. Totally worth a venture.

Great for All I took my elderly mother on the Quack'rDuck so she could have a fun outing and not have to worry about walking.
We both enjoyed the experience. I was thrilled to find a carpark with lift directly beside the pick up zone. The cost was minimal.
Also the pick up location is very close to kerbside dining , so we had a lovely meal close by after finishing the tour.

nice encounters with whales staff are really friendly. many whale activities we saw. a little sick but the pill helped a lot, maube due to a very windy weather that day.

Our 4th time on the Quack r Duck. Have been on the Quack r Duck many times before but it was a first for our 21 month old. Husband and wife tour guides on the bus are funny and entertaining. Highly recommend this experience for a family.

It is a nice way to explore Gold Coast and fun for children . The Captain was excellent and enthusiastic whilst the moderator had a boring and one tone voice , in these trips you need a positive moderator and tone of his voice changes .

Why I have given them 3 stars is that there is no seat belt on board , and can be dangerous for kids . They need to seriously look into having seat belts . I don’t understand how permission is given for these buses with no seat belts on.

Heaps of fun - highly recommend Great fun and huge novelty value. We booked this over the aquaduck just for the quacking, which the kids loved.
Our guide was knowledgeable of the area. Lots of fun facts and jokes for the kids. They use your phone to take photos of you on board rather than charge for a photo, cute temporary tattoos given to the kids, and souvenirs were available for a fee on board.
We had a great time and would highly recommend for any tourist - especially families with young kids.

Unsatisfied service Terrible service. Booked online fully paid, confirmed at the reception deck on the early morning. When we start on the board, told us tickets not available, we need paid again. Already received two confirmation email before we get on the board.

A really fun ride with the family on Quark'r'Duck. The tour takes about an hour to go through a few famous locations in the Main Beach area on Gold Coast. It's pretty exciting to see how a little all-wheel drive bus turns into a boat. It's safe and fun for kids as well. Highly recommend.

Reservations are required and make sure you arrive at their bus stop 15 minutes prior or you may miss the bus.

Must do activity when in Gold coast, especially for kids. Its about an hour long and takes you through the famous places (land & water). A really unique experience & great staff.

Was fantastic ride. Definitely one time experience. The water ride was exciting. When on water View from the bus was amazing. Lots to see. Enjoyed it so much even the kids. Love it. There was lots of luxury houses down the coast..

Great for kids. Went here many times. They did a small tour around Gold Coast and talked about its history. Ride was fun and memorable. Definitely worth the money spent. Would come again next time I visit Gold Coast

My family and I with three kids age 3,11,14 went on the quackaduck it was amazing we had such a fantastic time exploring the city and then hearing about all the mansions that line the harbour, we were worried that this was a bit of a cheaper version of the well-known Aquaduck we had nothing to be worried about in fact I think our experience was a lot more fun than those aboard the Aquaduck highly recommend it would definitely do it again.

Great experience. Well priced and fun. Really enjoyed this. Went along with four 50+yo mates and loved it. Great value at $45pp. Informative and friendly service. Will do again next trip to Qld. Only tip would be not to sell quack whistles to passengers until closer to the end of the trip. The quacking wears thin.

Something I've always wanted to do on the Gold Coast. Was a fun experience. Interesting tour guides. Lovely to be out on the water.

Fun to do So much fun even in the rain. First time for the majority. Books out really fast. Well worth the price and we all enjoyed the experience.

Pleasant trip Family with 9yo, daughter wasn’t too keen to do the tour and we weren’t expecting too much but walked away with smile on our face and enjoyed the tour. Guides were informative of surrounds and kids enjoyed the interactive moments with tattoos etc

Don’t bother, waste of money No allocated seats so as everyone pushed on we last to get on. One seat at the front and one seat at the very back. This ruined the experience from the get go. Commentary was unaudible from both Nick and Jackie. They were untrained in knowing how to use the equipment. Kids climbing all over my wife who was sitting at the front to get their free duck tattoos on a moving bus, should Jackie not be getting up and approaching the children in their seats in the interests of safety. Don’t bother it’s a Complete waste of money.

I wanted to book this on my last trip to surfers few years ago but unfortunately couldn’t do it but this time My partner booked as a surprise for me. He wasn’t impressed at first by looks of the vehicle lol ???? but he definitely enjoy to hear all those information about surfers paradise.Our driver and (the lady who giving little tour information and helped us taking really good photo when we were in water , we bought a duck doll as souvenir too ) apologies we frgt your name
