It’s a very nice cruise and we saw a lot of fish. The staff was nice and Nicole gave us a lot of recommendations for food in the Gold Coast while we were on the bus. She is a very good guide and assisted us on the snorkelling, especially because almost everyone in our snorkelling group had little experience with snorkelling. The food was nice and very fresh, and the drinks weren’t overpriced. There were a lot of things to do during free time and the captain commentated through the entire marine cruise, which was very nice - we even saw a pod of dolphins!

We had an amazing day on this Cruise. The whole experience was well organised from start to finish – check-in was smooth, the crew were friendly and professional, and the sightseeing was incredible. The water was crystal clear, the snorkelling was a highlight, and we were lucky to spot some of marine life along the way.

The boat was comfortable and the included meals were appreciated. The only suggestion we have is that it would be great if some hot food were available as well. It would make the experience even better.
Overall, a fantastic full-day trip and definitely worth recommending!

Good overall, would recommend to those who enjoy snorkelling and boat adventures. It was a fun experience with a very lovely crew! Perfect if you are solo travelling as you find others who are doing the same! The surroundings were lovely and were not too many people on the boat. Price is a little bit steep but worth it if this is your thing.

This was so much fun definitely recommend!! As someone who isn't a super confident swimmer and with some minor mobility limitations, I found the snorkelling very easy and enjoyable. It's slow paced so you can take it all in. Absolutely loved the free time afterwards to swim off the back of the boat - it's super accessible to get on and off. Shout out to our tour guide Jess who was knowledge and helpful :) all the staff in general were super friendly and approachable and we're dedicated to making the trip perfect. 10/10 definitely would recommend to everyone and anyone!

Awesome experience We had wonderful T as our group leader and she was super friendly and helped to take care of my youngest out snorkelling. We had the best time and can't wait to come back again.

Amazing day out! Catamaran was amazing - big and modern. The team onboard were great and catered for all abilities for swimming and snorkelling. Our group leaders on the snorkel safari were amazing - T and Kye! Seafood buffet lunch was great and plentiful with very fresh tiger prawns as well as non seafood options including ham and chicken. Saw turtles and dolphins but sadly no dugongs, but fab day out all the same.

We were welcomed with coffee, breakfast pastries and fruit which was lovely!
The crew were all very helpful with sorting wetsuits (which I’d recommend wearing for the snorkelling) and gloves etc.

We were designated the turtle group. This meant we ate lunch before snorkelling and having free time to swim or paddle-board. Lunch was lovely! Prawns were huge! Plenty of food to go around. Buffet was great. Ideally we would have liked to snorkel etc before lunch as we weren’t too hungry after having all the breakfast snacks!

Free time was great. We could swim around the boat and to the island beach. Life jackets and noodles were offered. We paddle boarded!

We then went on the snorkel trips around the ship wrecks. This was the highlight of the day. The snorkel trip is 45 mins. I’d recommend the using the given wetsuit as we were cold by the end. The wildlife was amazing. We saw so many fish and even a small wobbegong shark (the guides helped us spot things!)
Jess, the guide, was fantastic and so friendly and kind. We felt safe at all times as a jet ski and boat was kept close. With the flippers etc you float quite easily. We saw hundreds of colourful and bright coral.

Finally we had the eco cruise where we spotted turtles! Would recommend!

Had a fantastic day! Georgia was amazing. Picking us up on the Gold Coast, being our guide when snorkelling and then returning us to the GC. Big day for her and us. Crew were amazing and were very mindful of safety the whole day. Lunch was great and plenty of it. The only let down were the cheap snorkelling masks. I’d suggest to take your own. But Great value and a fabulous day!

The worst snorkeling experience I love snorkeling and have done it everywhere I travel. I’d never been to Moreton Island before, so I decided to give it a try.
On the boat to the island, the guide in our group said she’d be in the water with us at all times. We were then asked to choose between a beginner or advanced course. Since I’m not a strong swimmer, I chose the beginner course. My friends are good swimmers but new to snorkeling, so they joined me in the beginner group.

Before getting in the water, they also asked about pre-existing conditions. One of my friends mentioned hers, so they gave her a different mask (a different color to identify her).
The advanced group went in first, followed by the guide who promised to stay with us. There were also people on jet skis to assist in case of problems, but once they all got off, only our beginner group was left on the boat.
The captain took a few minutes to move the boat and then started talking endlessly. I was so excited to get in the water that it felt like forever. I finally. had to ask if we could start. (He was talking)

When the captain finally let us get off the boat, he gave us no guidance at all about where we could snorkel, not where it was safe, not where we could see more fish. He just said, “Follow the rope.”
I tried, and since I already had previous experience snorkeling, it wasn’t difficult, but I never saw a single fish. They dropped us in an area where there were absolutely no fish and left us completely alone.

Of course, most of the people there couldn’t even snorkel properly because no one was advising or helping those who didn’t know how. It was frustrating. And even though they said it was a safe area, the current was very strong.
One of my friends couldn’t handle it and went back to the boat, with zero assistance. My other friend and I kept snorkeling until we suddenly heard them calling us back to the boat. The guide finally came into the water to get us because the current was too strong. She asked why we were so far away and told us, we shouldn’t go near the shipwrecks because Is dangerous.

I replied that no one had given us any instructions about what we could or couldn’t do. They simply left us in the water, and I was trying to see fish that’s what I paid for. Where they left us, there was nothing but sand. I even asked her why we were completely alone, and she answered that we were “under the captain’s supervision.” (A person who never got into the water)

What also upset me was that they rushed us back to the boat, even though the advanced group was still in the water and stayed longer than we did. It felt really unfair. ( We paid the same but the time in the water Is the half or less).

When we got back on the boat, my friend told me she had to tell the captain that we were still swimming out there, he hadn’t even noticed we were gone. (And he was supposed to be the one supervising us.) and I was with my friend who has the pre-existing medical condición.

This whole experience felt careless, unsafe, and disorganized. For a “beginner seccion,” there was zero support or supervision. I’ve snorkeled in many places, and I’ve never felt so unsafe or disappointed.

I don't recommend it for beginners; you won't see a single fish, you'll spend less time in the water, you'll have zero assistance, and you'll pay the same as everyone else.

We had the best day ever on See Moreton Cruise. The catamaran was brand new and spectacular. Not crowded at all. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The highlight was the 45 minute snorkel through the shipwrecks we were led by T. She was very knowledgeable and just an excellent guide. It was like swimming in a giant Aquarium just amazing fish in all colours.

Make sure you take everything you need for the beach when you go for your snorkel as you go directly to the beach afterwards. Lunch was delicious and we enjoyed a cocktail on the way back. My tip is to get a Jug if you are drinking the same cocktail.

Had a blast! Had a great time! The boat/yacht was very nice, spacious and clean! Plenty of food for lunch as well as pastries and fruit that was served before and after activities. The guides were very nice and helpful and made sure everyone was safe and had a blast. Sadly did not see dolphins but we saw a turtle and a duong. They also give out paddle boards during your free time without extra cost prior to the snorkeling bit. Highly recommend

Had the best time with my family — a big group of nine, including seniors and young kids. The See Moreton team was absolutely amazing! Our guide Jess was lovely — caring, thoughtful, and made sure everyone had a great time. The service was fantastic from start to finish — from the food to the snorkeling and paddleboarding. Moreton Island is such a beautiful place to visit, and if you’re looking for activities around Brisbane or the Gold Coast, I highly recommend giving this tour a try!

We had an amazing day exploring Moreton Island! The pickup from Brisbane made everything so convenient, and the vessel itself was fantastic with great attention to detail. Snorkelling around the Moreton Wrecks was a highlight of the day, as it was such a unique way to get close to the wildlife. The staff were outstanding too! Friendly, knowledgeable, and always making sure everyone was having the best experience. We’d recommend this trip to anyone looking for a memorable day on Moreton Island.

I had an amazing trip today and the whole crew was very professional and helpful. The girl Jess who guided us to the ship wreck made sure all of us to be safe and she also informed us of the fishes we were seeing and we also saw a dugong! She was very professional and way too careful in helping us in the water too. Ps: she did actually helped someone swim for approximately 20 minutes or more?

The team were amazing at supporting us. Our little one got seasickness (first time ever) and they were there to assist in easing her discomfort.

Best day ever!!! Could not recommend a See Moreton cruise enough! We did it for our bucks, and had the absolute best day ever! The staff were beyond helpful and friendly. Awesome food was provided basically all day. Snorkeling the wrecks was the best snorkeling I’ve ever done and I’ve been snorkeling my whole life.
The boat was brand new! And it was absolutely stunning!!

Amazing crew, views, and snorkling Great expirence definitely would go again. Very nice and funny crew. Food was great aswell. Would highly recommend anyone who wants to see some marine life.

Cancelled last minute - would not recommend We were travelling over from New Zealand for a holiday, and booked in back in May for the snorkelling tour on Monday the 16th of June. We paid AUD 498 for this. On Friday the 13th, See Moreton called us to let us know that the “new boat” wasn’t ready, and as such the trip was cancelled. Surely this feels like something they would have known ahead of time? There’s virtually no tours with other companies available at such short notice, and the See Moreton website still allows you to book for the Monday as if it’s going ahead - which I find slightly scammy. They’ve refunded us, but the refund will take 5-10 business days to come through, which means the money won’t be available while we’re in Australia to book another tour with anyway.

Very disappointing experience. I would not book with them again.

Exceptional tour, exceptional staff Brilliant day from start to finish. I’d advise calling them directly as they can pick up from your specific hotel not just Vibe that’s written in description . Every single staff member was exceptional. The skipper provided awesome commentary on the tour that really added so much to the experience. We were so lucky to be there on almost the last day of the season and virtually had the wrecks to ourselves to explore. The snorkeling did not disappoint and I found it better than anything I’ve done elsewhere in the world! The vast quantity and variety of sea life was breathtaking! The lunch was great and plentiful. Nothing felt rushed and we had plenty of time on the beach to explore as well as the snorkelling. The eco tour to spot turtles was a great end to the day with so many to see and again, we weren’t rushed past them. All in all I think this tour is great value for a genuine full day experience that will be a highlight of your trip.

Good variety of sea life Get on the boat in the first group so you can snorkel first, then have lunch & island time. There are a lot of tour groups snorkeling the wrecks so be prepared for slightly organized chaos. Lunch had a basic variety of tasty food. When on the island, you can snorkel there (much less crowded), hike up the sand dune for a better view, SUP, or just chill on the beach. Would have liked to have a little more time on the island. There were also a lot of kids on our tour (it was during easter break), be ready for that as well.

Honest review of Tangalooma Snorkelling Wrecks and Dolphin Feeding Snorkeling the wrecks was awesome. Our instructor, Kat, was absolutely incredible — so friendly, professional, and wonderfully accommodating with my children. Dolphin feeding was also a fantastic experience, and all the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful.

However, the overall tour was very disappointing and poorly organised. We had torrential rain all day, but instructions for the tours continued outdoors without cover, leaving everyone's clothes and bags drenched at the start. We were told by multiple staff there wasn’t enough time for lunch before snorkeling, but then after snorkeling all the restaurants were closed, and the only open café had run out of food. Restaurants didn’t reopen until just before dolphin feeding, leaving no chance for a proper meal.

There was nothing to do in bad weather — we spent hours stuck in a stuffy room with 100 people, even the pub pool tables were missing balls. Facilities and tours were overcrowded, with not enough toilets or change rooms for the number of people booked.

The tour was advertised as including lunch and full use of resort facilities, but it didn’t live up to expectations, especially considering the high price.

Tip: Bring a deck of cards and pack your own lunch if you decide to book this tour.

Fantastic Snorkelling & Island Experience Despite terrible weather to start the crew were all really positive & kept our spirits up especially Nicole & Mela. The snorkelling was fantastic, with loads of fish, a ray & a Wobbegong reef shark. When our 6 yr old was cold & not enjoying it, Mela was brilliant at pointing out some “Dory” fish to keep him interested. The food on board was excellent & there was lots to go round. The boat was really comfortable & a great space to spend the day on. The fact we had such a great day despite the rain & cold weather is testament to what a great experience this is! We highly recommend!!

We had a wonderful time with SeeMoreton — everything was fantastic and well organized. The staff were exceptional throughout the day. Nicole was absolutely lovely, and the snorkeling guide was amazing — incredibly attentive and made us feel safe and supported.

That said, I was quite shocked when I was initially told that my 5-year-old son couldn’t join the snorkeling activity. I had booked the tour specifically because he was so excited to see the shipwrecks, so it was a real moment of panic. Thankfully, he was allowed in the end, and he was over the moon — it truly made his day!

One small suggestion: the water was colder than I expected. I completely understand that the temperature can't be controlled, but a heads-up in the pre-trip info would be great — I would’ve brought my son’s wetsuit.

The price is on the higher side, but I do believe it was worth it for the overall experience. Just a bit of feedback: during the beach stop, there didn’t seem to be any staff around or any regulation on paddle board usage. My son only got about 5 minutes on one and would have loved a bit more time.

Had such a great time on the boat today - so well paced and perfect my holiday. We went on the snorkelling trip with buffet lunch. Saw so many fishies, wondering, dolphins and a turtle! Food was so good, exceeds expectations. Also got some beach time with stand up paddle boarding.

An absolutely amazing day seeing all sorts of sizes and colours of fishes whilst snorkelling through the great wreckage, there are amazing corals and starfishes too! Spend time on the beautiful clear waters beaches doing SUP and walking along the shore! We saw dolphins, turtles, too. Thanks for the great day out! Amazing foods and most importantly the Captain and crew really do look after each of us on the trip! Thank you guys!

We love See Moreton! Georgia was our snorkel tour guide. She was great! Kept us on our toes and pointed out fun things to see along the way. The food was amazing! The crew was kind and knowledgeable. My only complaint was wanting to snorkel longer than 45 min for the day. Fun tour all in all. Moreton Island was beautiful!
