Visit Lake Weyba’s natural stingray sanctuary, where these graceful
creatures can often be seen gliding silently beneath your kayak. The
region is home to over 700 animal species and 1,300 plant species
including birds, amphibians, fish, reptiles, mammals, and all types of
flora from delicate wildflowers to Eucalypts and mangroves lining the
water’s edge. It’s a living, breathing showcase of Queensland’s
incredible biodiversity.

TRANSPORT
All self guided tour options require guests to make their own way to the starting point. 

STARTING TIME:
Your guide will have the tour ready for the start time, please arrive 10 – 15 minutes before the starting time.

WHERE TO MEET: 
In Google maps you can enter ‘SSRKC LAKE WEYBA DRIVE, Noosaville QLD 4566’. OR Enter 185 Lake Weybe Drive, Noosaville QLD 4566 and keep going to the end where you will see the kayak trailer and ample carparking space.

WHAT TO BRING… 
YOU WILL GET A LITTLE WET. Don’t worry, you won’t get soaked but we recommend wearing clothing you don’t mind getting splashed (active wear or beach related clothing is normally ideal). You’ll be outside for ~2.5hrs so pls bring a water bottle and anything you’d want to keep the elements off you (whether it’s sun, wind or rain)…

LAST MINUTE BOOKINGS
Please note that our business hours are Mon-Sun 8:30am-4:30pm. If you’ve booked outside of these times and your tour is the next day then please note that we will not be aware of your booking until the guide arrives at ~8am. If there are any issues with your last minute booking then they’ll reach out to you ASAP

BAD WEATHER + FLEXIBILITY
Please do check the weather forecast before your tour. Unless we have dangerous weather conditions then our tours go ahead even if its cloudy, rainy, windy… However if you don’t like the look of the weather then you can choose to change the day of your tour. Our best advice is to inform us of your availability and if a different day has nicer conditions we can help manage your booking and make sure you get the best experience subject to availability.
