Set out on our 8-hour full day Bluewater adventure exploring some of the Top End’s best fishing spots. Departing from the Cullen Bay Ferry Terminal at 7.00am (tide dependent) and returning at 3pm, you’ll fish a variety of successful locations, enjoying a combination of reef and game fishing depending on the conditions.

All fishing gear, bait and iced eskies are provided onboard. Breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and iced water is supplied throughout the day. 

BYO drinks and light alcohol (NO glass please). Please do not bring any eskies or coolers as we provide iced eskies on board.

All fish will be cleaned, gilled, gutted or filleted by your deckhand and may be kept within NT bag limits. All trophy fish (e.g biggest Jewfish for the day) may be kept by the catcher, all smaller fish are divided equally at the end of the charter to ensure everyone get a fair share of fresh fish! 

Areas fished include Fenton Patches, Fish Reef, Bass Reef, Lorna Shoals, The Pinnacles and North and South Gutter but will vary depending on tides and weather. 

The two main target species are Black Jewfish and Golden Snapper. Other reef species targeted include Coral Trout, Tricky Snapper, Cod, Spanish Flag, Cobia, Spanish Mackerel and more depending on tides and areas fished.

Vessels are fully shaded with a household toilet on board.

Fishing Charter Terms and Conditions Terms and Conditions 1. Arafura Fishing Charters has a strict no drugs policy on board our vessel. If drugs are found to be on board, the trip will be cancelled with no refund. 2. Alcohol is permitted on board the vessel, however responsible consumption of alcohol is requested. 3. Arafura Fishing Charters reserves the right to refuse alcohol on board if they deem it to be unsafe and refuse a passenger entry on board the vessel if they are under the influence of drugs or alcohol. 4. Arafura Fishing Charters reserves the right to cancel the trip, with payment forfeited, if any unsafe behavior is displayed. 5. All passengers under 16 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. 6. Passengers engage in the activity at their own risk and acknowledge that Arafura Fishing Charters may not be held accountable for any personal injury. 7.Arafura Fishing Charters may not be held accountable for any personal items lost or damaged during the charter. 8. Fishing rods and reels are supplied on a replace if lost or broken basis, with replacement on charged to the customer. 9. All bookings require a 30 % deposit to confirm. Any cancellations more than 30 days prior to the booking date will forfeit the 20% deposit. 10. Full payment must be received 30 days prior to the booking date. 11. Cancellations within 30 days of departure will forfeit a minimum 25% of the total cost. 12. Cancellations within 2 to 7 days of departure will forfeit 50% of the total cost. 13. No refund will apply to cancellations within 48 hours of departure. 14. Arafura Fishing Charters will reschedule your charter free of charge in the case of bad weather or unforeseen circumstances. If you are unable to attend another charter, Arafura Fishing Charters will refund the full amount if we must cancel due to bad weather or unforeseen circumstances. 15. All charters are subject to weather conditions and we reserve the right to cancel and or alter the itinerary of any trip due to bad weather. 16. No refund will apply if the vessel returns earlier than stated at the time of booking.
