Great experience, huge course even with 7 blokes, heaps of cover and powerful guns. Plenty of fun and plenty of pain, definitely worth getting the extra rounds and ammo

We booked through red balloon, they stuffed us around big time.
However Greg called us and was a bloody legend, even gave us a game for free due to the muck around. Honest, true blue bloke who cares about his customers.

Not a common choice for a hens party adventure, but OMG what a fun time!! I was so nervous, but the park is so well set out, with plenty of places to hide and retreat. The staff were so great and everyone had the best time. Would highly recommend to anyone.....what an adrenalin rush!

Had a fun day today! From the moment we entered we were greeted with smiles and laughs. Very well organised games, good equipment and an amazing area to play in with lots of of space and areas to take cover. Will definitely be back!

Nice layout with lots of options to run and gun or hide and snipe. We had a small group of 6 which worked out really well as instead of there always being someone around the next corner you never knew where they were going to be 😁
The only down side is that after 2 hours of crouch-running my legs are killing me today, but that's a me issue, not a them issue 😅

We had a blast! Went with the company and it was really good fun. Everything was outside and there are a lot of hiding spots.
Would definitely recommend, but probably just for nice weather.

Wasn’t a bad place. Good guns and area to shoot in. However the guys who run the place can be quite rude at times. They openly scolded the people who were maybe 5mins late and were super rude. My friend noticed the cap to her ammo holster wasn’t shut properly and wouldn’t close, she dropped all her balls immediately when the game started. We told the guy what had happened and we are absolutely sure we didn’t temper with it. He then argued saying it was our fault, not his and wont be giving us anymore balls. She then couldn’t participate at all in the 2hr session. 100 balls also is not enough for the time limit and want us to spend more money. They bring out all the fun games when no one has balls left to make us pay for more. Our group of 6 were extremely disappointed and won’t be coming back at this current time. Not worth the money.

Had the best time for my 25th birthday! Came with a huge group and was well looked after, staff are awesome at setting us up and making sure everything is fun. Not our first time heading to Skirmish and won’t be our last!

Had a great time at paintball today. Great setup and a thrilling experience. The team were lovely. My only complaint was the weather! So hot for a winters day! (27 in full camo gear!) Definitely bring a cold waterbottle and stand infront of a fan in the breaks!

4 of us went to play on Monday 5-8-24,
got teamed up with another group of 7.
It was tonnes of fun, we went through our ammo within 4 out of 5 20min games and were physically exhausted so decided to call it a day.

I Recommend paintball in general and this place in particular was good

I would suggest talking to Greg and Di directly on a phone or via email if you have any questions, they are very helpful

Main question I guess anyone will ask playing for the first time: how many balls do I need? - no one can answer for you. But here is my personal take on this topic.

Our group of 4 have had 600 per person, group of 7 we played with had 200-300 per person and all seemed to be happy at the end. Our group of 4 wasn't too economical on ammo and we lasted a little longer in the last round, We could easily make those 600 last for all 5 rounds OR buy a spend another $30-50 or to keep shooting each other at the same rate

if you can say good bye to $134 per person or more for a day out and not complain about it for the rest of the day - take their top tier pack per person and you will get 600 balls and won't regret.

if budget is tight, 350 balls per person will set you back around $90 or so, as you can buy balls in bulk of 500 at $95 and share among your team. you will get through 3-4 games no probs and will still be lots of fun.

I'd say anything less is a bit of a compromise, especially if you will be playing with other people that are not your team who will spend more and/or determined to play all 5 games.

you can shoot all 600 balls in 1 of 5 games no problem, and you can keep buying more, no upper limit. So be a bit sensible, a good advice is: your gun will have 100 balls loaded into it when you start, go through those first without topping it up and it will give you a very good sense on where you are at and how does it all work. Adjust your fire rate for the rest of the day based on that

close shots will hurt for a minute and will leave bruises, but a good dose of adrenalin is absolutely worth it, your legs will hurt a lot more anyways from running and sit-ups

Our last game for the day was free for all, we decided among ourselves that close range shooting is allowed and we only put our hands up if we could no longer take pain or ran out of ammo, this was the best part and elevated the game onto another level.
It was most painful round too

HAD AN ABSOLUTE BLAST!! Took my neice for her 18th the best time ever. Few bruises pumping out now but worth all the pain! The blokes running the place are bloody legends!

Don’t know who the elderly male with glasses was at the counter but I don’t think he knows how to talk to customers with his extremely rude and dismissive approach.
We received an email saying specifically “starts at 2pm” and NO WHERE on that email did it say you have to be there earlier. Yes we came in at 2:09pm because we couldn’t find the place and apologised for being 8-9 mins late because we are not from here. And we also knew there were 5 X20 minute games going on in our session so we didn’t mind missing the first and starting with the second which would have been an easy solution and while the first game was going on they could have briefed us and started.

Old guy at the counter said “yeah too late we started at 1:30pm”. I re-read the email and it said STARTS AT 2pm so I showed him and his reply was “yeah and what time is it now?” In an extremely rude manner.

Mate if you started already don’t give us a false time to prove your point specially when we have been apologetic and are barely 8-9 mins past the time we were told, and have travelled for 2 hours.

He proceeded to look at the two girls with me and said “do they even know how hard this hits? Let me show them how hard it hits”

He then shot at a rubbish bin roughly 10 times and said “See that. this will cut you open” and walked off.
If it’s going to cut people open there wouldn’t be others playing and this isn’t our first experience with paintball we know there is safety gear provided to wear at almost all paintball sites.

If you’re going to discriminate because we are brown skinned or because we have girls with us you are an absolute pile of trash that shouldn’t be at the front counter.
It was a 30th birthday celebration and this man ruined the experience instead of helping us with a solution of just waiting for the next game in 20 mins.

We all work in customer service as managers at different branches, and a service like that from our staff would get you in trouble with HR or fired specially if you come across as racist and discriminating.

Absolutely disgusting, we wanted to speak to another member to ask if we can book for the next day but didn’t bother.
Would give no stars to this place and sadly because of one individual the experience didn’t start but was instantly ruined .

I’m normally not the one to leave a review even if the right service wasn’t given. But my partner planned a few surprises one being this place for my birthday. We arrived 9 mins late (2:09) and that is also because the location of this place next to Aussie world isn’t very easy to find. Upon arrival, we instantly get a cold welcome as soon as the elder guy turns around. Our booking was 2pm 03/02/24 the guy instantly said it’s already started, it started at 1:30. When my partner went back into the email it said “starting at” 2pm so he went back to the guy to confirm that our booking was for 2pm but he rudely just said “well what’s the time, also do the girls know how hard this hits ”…
He then continued out to get a paintball gun and rudely looked and me and my friend and said do you know how hard this shoots, and showed us by shooting the bin…also commenting it can “cut you open”

Firstly! Why even say something like that, secondly why operate if it is going to “cut you open”.

This activity was only booked for us to have fun, but from the get go there was a major form of discrimination as soon as the guy (didn’t have a name badge on) saw us!

Absolutely disgusting! He was just trying to scare me and my friend (because we were “girls”). Sadly this place doesn’t deserve a star because of how we were treated but I had to add one so this review could be posted. Travelling 2 hours to get here.

Had a Bucks party here with a lot of first-timers at Skirmish. Staff was really helpful offering advice and assistance. Everyone had lots of fun, and we're already planning our next session! I also lost my $$$ Ray-Ban sunnies, called up and they were kept for me to pick up, phew!!! Thanks to all the team!

Great place, great price for paintballs too with very friendly staff. Went for a bucks party and my coconut bra protected me well. Had paintballs left over by accident and they gave me 5 minutes for a quick 1v1 to use the last.

Had an absolute blast here yesterday! These guys made my 19th birthday a birthday to remember☺️ so friendly and very experienced.
They even gave us 2 $20 vouchers for the banana bender next door which was really cool!

We made a reservation for a hens party, we accidentally mixed up the start time. When we rang to let them know, they were instantly dismissive and very unhelpful. We were told we could still come and join in the last 2 rounds.

The bridal car got there before us and we’re met with very degrading men who told them “to go to the pub it will easier” as they pulled the paintball gun out and told them how heavy and hard the guns are. They were also told that they wouldn’t be able to handle it as there is a bucks party already in their.

Once myself and the maid of honour got there we went up to discuss with the men what had happened, we were met by two men who told us we could play come up and get ready and the price would now be $29 per person not the advertised $25.

We proceeded to go let the group know and they were quite upset with the way they had been spoken to and discriminatory towards them being women. The bride to be was very disappointed.

We went back to tell the men and instantly they were on the back foot telling us that they hadn’t spoken rude to them.

The hospitality should always start at the initial stages and continue all the way through.
Being in customer service ourselves we understand the importance of this and the service received today was a Pauling.

Don’t recommend unfortunately.

Not a fan. Next to zero explanation as to what was going on and how the pricing/equipment collection worked,
we kind of worked it out ourselves.
No waivers were checked. 5 out of the 8 adults that attended commented afterwards that the older gentleman apparently running the show doesn’t seem to understand general conversational courtesy. The kids (and adults) had fun but I wouldn’t spend my money there again to be treated as an inconvenience.
