Low & Slow Southern American BBQ Cooking Class

  • Fire up your passion for authentic Southern BBQ with this fun, hands-on cooking class that celebrates the art of “low and slow” smoking. Perfect for BBQ enthusiasts and party hosts alike, this experience will teach you how to master mouthwatering meats, irresistible appetisers, and the classic sides that make every BBQ a feast to remember.

What to Expect

  • On arrival, you’ll be greeted with a cold beer and handed your apron before meeting your expert chefs for the day. They’ll walk you through the format of the session, the menu, and the skills you’ll be learning. From rubs, sauces, and temperatures to timing and troubleshooting, you’ll gain insider knowledge of the BBQ techniques that define the deep South.

Throughout the class, you’ll get hands-on experience preparing fresh meats, sides, sauces, and accompaniments. Some meats will already be pre-smoked to demonstrate key methods, while others you’ll prepare from start to finish. Along the way, you’ll graze on your creations before sitting down to enjoy the ultimate Low & Slow BBQ Feast at the end of the day.

Your chef will cover essential techniques including equipment setup, charcoal use, the Texas Crutch method, and tips for creating “fall-off-the-bone” perfection every time.
