Skip Chris and Dre were both top blokes, made the whole experience fantastic and brought us to some great spots to reel in heaps of fish. Even filleted a cheeky bit of sashimi on board. Would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for a good arvo on the water in Cronulla 👌

Wouldn’t try them again!
We had a work fishing trip booked for Wednesday 26th march.
We got our confirmation email and as instructed headed to Cronulla ferry wharf for a 6am start, meaning we left the south coast before 5am.
At around 6:10am we rang Chris as he was a no show and woke him up, he tried to tell us there was nothing in the system, even though he sent us confirmation?
He obviously stuffed up but rather than admit it and be honest, he started with the games. He told us he would be there by 6:30m, at 6:50 we called him again, this time he was 5 minutes away, he arrived at 7:15 am and by 7:30am the boat still was nowhere to be seen.
First of Chris be honest with your guests, if we had of known how late you were going to be, we could have gone and grabbed a coffee/breakfast to kill the time, instead we just sat at the wharf
for close to 2 hours waiting for you.
In the end I had to leave the group as I had a medical appointment later that day and Chris had just chewed through the time buffer I had with being close to 2 hours late!
Definitely not a great look for the business and not someone I would recommend.
Ps this is the view of 1 person out of 8, all though the others were disappointed, they had the time to still do the charter, will be interesting to hear how the rest of the day went.

Great charter! We caught some bonito, snapper and flathead on an afternoon reef trip. We had a great experience and would highly recommend!

I went out on Cronulla Reef Fishing Charters for the first time on Saturday, September 14, 2024, and it was a fantastic experience. The weather was perfect, and Captain Chris made the day even better with his expertise, While keeping us all laughing from jetty to return -We caught plenty of fish, and our group from WDSFC had a blast. We've all agreed that this will definitely become an annual event, if not more frequent. Highly recommend it!

I am not new to fishing. I got this as a birthday gift. We had small crew and although snapper wasn't baiting, we had the best time. Got heaps of flatties, few sharks and other reef fish.
The most amazing and relaxed crew.

Best charter in Cronulla, Captain Chris is without doubt a legend, very funny, down to earth bloke, I’ve been with him twice caught some nice fish ,he puts his heart and soul into everyone having a great time, highly recommend going out with him! Also his deckhand Noah is top bloke , very friendly !

Absolute legend! Christ taught every step of how to get your catch. He made sure everyone comes home with their own catch.

Christian is a knowledge, passionate and charismatic professional. We boarded with 5x 14yo’s and Christian had nothing but time and patience for them. We will most definitely be back.

Captain Chris was fantastic! He put us on so many fish. My kids and I have had a blast. We even caught a huge port Jackson shark. Best experience by far.

I had an amazing time on the fishing charter led by Skipper Chris and deckhand Noah. Their expertise and sense of humor made the trip enjoyable. We caught a diverse mix of reef fish, even hooked onto a shark. Though we aimed for a big Kingfish using live bait, we didn't land one, but that's just the unpredictability of fishing. Overall, a great experience filled with laughter and good memories.

We went for this fishing trip with my son. Chris and Nolan is amazing crew. It was very friendly, relax and productive time on the water. We bring back home nice catch, a lot of positive emotions and good memories. Chis navigate amazingly through rough waters, good variance of bait was provided, all gear was in great shape. Will defiantly go again. Thank you mates for all!

No Show. We booked the charter for Sunday 10th starting at 6am that was unfortunately canceled (apparently via text at 5am which he forgot to hit send) resulting in a disappointing experience for our group. Despite the apologies extended by Christian, there are some points I want to highlight.

1. Communication: Not ideal, A cancellation notification was apparently sent via text only one hour before the scheduled time,which I never received. He later confirmed he forgot to hit send… It would be more effective to contact clients earlier and explore alternative options.or continue to call the morning ensuring the client received the message and not waiting high and dry.

2. Advanced Notice: not sure if it’s common practice by this company to assess weather conditions the night before and, if necessary, contact clients to discuss potential rescheduling or alternatives.

3. Weather Conditions: The weather conditions on the night before the trip remained consistent, with no significant changes in swells and wind. The last minute cancellation seemed inconsistent with the conditions reported.

He did offer to reschedule for the following day (Monday) was challenging for our group, considering work commitments and the substantial effort many of us made to travel to Cronulla.

While appreciating the apologies and acknowledgment of him dropping the ball in the communication, the overall experience left us feeling very disappointed.

Had a christmas party booked for the team. Was left high and dry. Food, beverages bought, but no reply after multiply messages and calls up to the day of fishing. Not as Ian had left the business after years of booking this vessel with him. Be careful.

Top blokes who go out of their way to look after you and provide a great day out on the water. Couldn’t recommend them enough!

I never normally write reviews but the boys here deserve 5 stars and beyond. I know how important reviews are for people searching for a good charter so wanted to share this is the best I've ever been on.

They got us onto a amazing selection of great eating fish and completly excelled my expectations of normally just getting one or two. Fantastic service and knowledge.

Im sure i speak for all 11 of our group when i say that , Ian , at Cronulla Fishing Charters gave us a great fishing experience. Very professional. Very helpful. All talked of booking again even before we left the boat.

We have been using Cronulla fishing charters for the past two years and have found Ian as a wonderful skipper. He not only welcomes you on board with a cuppa he works all day getting you on fish, clearing tangles and cleaning the fish for you to take home. Anybody who wants a professional skipper who cares about his customers look no further.
