Off The Beaten Track WA invites you to join us for a 2 hr guided kayak experience along the South Perth shoreline to explore the historic swan estuary as the sun goes down over the water and the city lights begin to glisten.

Off The Beaten Track WA invites you to join us for a 2 hr guided kayak experience along the South Perth shoreline to explore the historic swan estuary as the sun goes down over the water and the city lights begin to glisten.
Leave the hiking boots at home and join us to wander on a waterway that comes to life with birds and fish as they feed before the sun disappears for the day and all of this beside a backdrop that is breathtakingly beautiful.
We’ll teach you all the basic paddling techniques before we set out on our city sunset tour. Our completely stable kayaks will ensure your wander is wobble-free. Suitable for beginner paddlers through to advanced.

Rocky pool walk Right from the start, a perfect morning. The rain had stopped, the water droplets were hanging off the bush, and the sunlight had turned them into crystal chandeliers. The people turned up, and off we went. It was fabulous; we even had morning tea, amazing, very diverse group of people, lots of stimulating and interesting conversation. Serpentine Sunset Soirée We had a great time. My friend and I joined the guided Anji and Laura for the Serpentine Sunset Soirée hike. We started before sunset hiking to a beautiful look out point in time for sunset and were treated to a glass of fizz and platter to enjoy. We learnt lots about the local area on the way thanks to their great knowledge and spent a lot of time laughing. Would definitely join again and had a great time!

I was lucky enough to indulge in the incredible multi-day tour based in Esperance. There were so many highlights such as hiking in the stunning Cape Le Grand National Park where we were ecstatic to be joined by dolphins whilst pausing to eat our delicious lunch. Speaking of food, there was never a moment of hunger during this tour! The catering was superb, as was the accommodation & all of the activities. Two fabulous guides & a small group of friendly adventurers made for an epic trip. I whole-heartedly recommend OTBT for your next hiking experience as they provide a safe & professional service.

Just completed my third multi-day hiking trip with Off The Beaten Track WA, this time to Albany to conquer the Bald Head Trail – something that’s been on my bucket list for a long time.
As always, the experience was exceptional from start to finish. Our guides (Mikey and Kym) were outstanding – knowledgeable, supportive, and full of good humour – which made the whole trip even more enjoyable. We had plenty of laughs along the way, were treated to gourmet food, and even enjoyed some wine tasting on the journey back.
Everything was so well organised and thoughtfully planned. I always feel looked after and inspired on these trips.
Can’t wait to join OTBT for more adventures in the future!

Exhale in the Perth Hills Off the Beaten Track's latest tour offering is an opportunity to not only experience a small section of the Bibbulmun Track, but also incorporates 'breathing work' and pilates sessions. The early morning start brings a sense of serenity and satisfaction as the sun rises across the Perth Hills. It's akin to lying on a granite boulder like a lizard, serenaded by beautiful birdsong, a gentle breeze moving through the gumtrees and the warmth of morning kisses from the sun, reenergising the body and soul. An EV charger for humans! What an amazing way to start a Sunday morning. Highly recommend.

Western Australia Adventure Of A Lifetime We needed assistance with customizing a highly personalized itinerary for a bucket list visit to Western Australia. Off The Beaten Track WA - Cape to Cape Experience - September 2024 From the time of booking right through to the trip, this hiking experience with Off The Beaten Track was a truly fabulous experience for me in every respect. The structured daily planning, beautiful and high quality accommodation, supremely delicious and plentiful food, knowledgeable and super friendly guides and attention to detail are all excellent and second to none. Add to that the stunning scenery of the hike itself and camaraderie shared by my five fellow hikers and the two guides made this a trip of outstanding enjoyment. I’ve been on multiple adventures with OTBT, including two multi day pack and camp hikes on the Bibbulmun Track. Cannot fault OTBT! Excellent guides, top quality hireable gear if you need it and great communication from start to finish. OTBT was a great way for me to get the confidence to hike, in a friendly small group environment. Exmouth Bucket List Tour I’d never been to Exmouth & saw the bucket list tour - stay at Mantarays, swim with whale sharks, sea kayaking, snorkelling, hikes, sunsets & all the transfers, meals included.I’m not a strong confident swimmer but the partnering tour companies were awesome and supplied life jackets or pool noodles to make me feel comfortable in the deep ocean.
The tours were amazing, the snorkelling surreal and can be summed up as WOW!!! No hesitation in recommending, even if your not a confident swimmer - book it I travelled with my husband who was also impressed and exceeded all expectations

Ningaloo & Cape Range Gourmet Adventure at Off The Beaten Track WA What a trip of a lifetime!! Thanks to Off The Beaten Track for putting together this incredible action packed itinerary! From our first gorgeous sunset views at Vlamingh Lighthouse to our last stunning sunrise from Charles Knife Canyon, this trip was amazing!! The hikes were tough but worth it! Yardie Gorge and Mandu Mandu Gorge!! We got to see wildlife everywhere including Ospreys, bats and black flanked rock wallabies. The stunning Ningaloo reef experiences were even better than I had ever imagined! From sea kayaking, snorkeling, the glass bottom boat trip and the unbelievable Whaleshark experience! We saw whalesharks, turtles, dolphins, dugong, giant clams and so many reef fish! This is a trip I'll never forget. Thanks to our awesome guide Sarah for making this such an unforgettable experience.

Hiking, food & wine - an awesome trip! Have just come back from 5 days exploring the Walpole & Denmark areas. Hiking each day combined with gourmet food at local restaurants at night, luxurious accommodation including massages & use of their sauna & steam room facilities and amazing tour guides (Mikey & Angie). It was social, fun, inclusive, well organized, participant guide was fabulous, hiking tips from OTBT guides and other members were very useful, easy to access and understand. Guide at the fron to pace and challenge you, and guide at the back to keep you going and keep you safe, was fantastic. Facebook photos, videos and updates really validated your achievement each week. I can't think of anything I would change. It was brilliant. I would highly recommend it no matter where you are on your fitness/health journey.

We had the best day with the Sarah and Mikey from Off The Beaten Track WA and Cam from the Maragret River Adventure Co while completing the Cape to Coasteering Adventure!! Staff were knowledgeable, friendly and knew their stuff!! The 4kms hike along part of the Cape track was simply stunning, once safely in the supervision of Cam we rock hopped, swam, jumped our way around the coast before relaxing with a well-earned lunch/beverage at a local brewery. Would definitely do this adventure again and highly recommend both OTBT and Maragret River Adventure Co. Well worth the 5 stars

What an amazing hiking adventure experienced with OTBT in September 2023 - professionally organised with fantastic staff, who are all friendly, knowledgeable, caring and also great fun. It was a fabulous group of fellow hikers and it was a superb hike with sensational views every day. There was a change of plans very last minute for one of the days but OTBT rose to the occasion like a phoenix rising from the ashes. Plan B was tremendous and brilliant organising on the fly - for 16 hikers, no mean feat! Thank you Tracy, Andrew and Paul and to fellow hikers. Awesome Weekend Just did my first hiking weekend with OTBT and it was an amazing experience. Our guides were awesome, helpful,knowledgeable and very conscious of of our hiking ability.Accommodation in Albany was great, very central to cafe's and restaurants where we dined and the food was delicious.
First hike on the Bald Head Trail was challenging but the views were breathtaking.
Our second hike had to be cancelled due to weather conditions but the alternative was organised immediately including our winery lunch. We hiked Mount Hallowell in Denmark and this hike was fantastic definitely a contrast from the previous day and the views at the top were astounding.
We also did a sunrise hike to Point King Lighthouse ruins which was not on our itinerary but our guides went out of their way to get up early to take us and the sunrise was spectacular.
Will definitely do another tour with OTBT

My experience with this company has been that they pride themselves on providing a top rate experience for thier guests. I have been on numerous trips with Off The Beaten Track WA and simply cannot fault them. The guides are all extremely friendly, experienced and more than willing to share thier knowledge on the trails, flora, fauna, equipment and most anything you could ask. Semi challenging but enjoyable half day hike with food and drinks provided = Win! Had a blast with friends on our hike in Kalamunda with lunch at Core Cider house thanks to our guide Tracy Lindsey from Off The Beaten Track WA for a fun new experience. I’ve hiked that part of the bib before, but never knew of the watering hole we visited, and learnt some interesting facts about the flora and fauna too. Plus fab food for morning tea, lunch and drinks once finished without having to worry about driving home. It was an experience I’d certainly recommend.read moreread less

Beautiful Pemberton hike My friend and I did the Southern Forests Weekender around Pemberton and had an amazing time. Together with 8 other hikers and tour guides Andrew and Kirsten we hiked through beautiful forests, came across an awesome lake, dam, waterfall, cascades and discovered all kinds of orchids, birdlife and even saw a snake that apparently had woken up a bit early in the season. We had so much fun while crossing a bridge that was under water so we had to take our shoes and socks off to cross it! The food we had along the way was very good and it was great to get know the other hikers and Andrew and Kirsten a bit better as well. We shared a 3 bedroom chalet at the Karri Valley with a cosy log fire. I felt so refreshed and energised coming home after this trip and can highly recommend it. We recently took a hike around Lesmurdie Falls with OTBT. It was a team building exercise for an ice skating team. Our guides, Silvana and Anna were amazing! Very friendly, professional and environmentally conscious. We had an absolute ball and they were an absolute pleasure to deal with. Thank you!

Beautiful walk to Kitty's gorge waterfall Great walk on Monday 26 June 2023 with Tracy leading the hike. Very informative stops along the way with interesting facts given about the area, flora and fauna. Delicious morning tea at the waterfall. Southern Forests Weekender Experience What a truly magical area to visit!! The Southern Forests of Pemberton and the Karri Valley are just spectacular but to then be provided with a "stay and play" fully organised and prepared experience was just outstanding. Not a single thing was left wanting from the fantastic crew at Off the Beaten Track WA, all I had to do was show up and participate in the informative and educational guided hikes around the Karri Forrest's. The accommodation at the RAC Karri Valley Resort was very well appointed and every meal was perfectly catered for from an assortment of local providers in the Pemberton area.I would absolutely recommend this company for one and this event secondly, if the attention to detail of this experience and guides Mikey and Debbie are any indication of the Off the Beaten Track service then I look forward to anything they have to offer and will definitely be back for more.

Cape to Cape Legends May 2023 ???? The 7 day Cape to Cape hike experience with Off The Beaten Track was everything we expected plus more!Walking on the long beach sections was amazing .just your thoughts and the sound of the waves.
The Passion, Love and Enthusiasm from Tracy each day and also Andrew our guide absolutely made it a memorable experience.
The views on the C2C speak for themselves, whether coastal or forest.

Cape to Cape May Legends! Last week, I was fortunate to join OTBT on their 7 day Cape to Cape journey.While the track itself highlights the spectacular South West coastal cliffs, sand dunes, beaches and forests, our guide, Andrew, added to this experience with his knowledge of local history, culture, flora, fauna, and his sense of humour!
Off the track, Tracy ensured our week was perfect with amazing food; from indulgent breakfast baskets, local restaurants, home cooked meals for bath and PJ nights, impromptu brekkie at the bakery to unexpected cheese boards, fruit platters and bubbles with choccies popping up along our walk. Our accommodation was extremely comfortable, the massage after day 4 relaxing and the playlist on the bus fantastic.
As a solo hiker, I felt part of this family for the week, sharing much fun and laughter and making many memories (captured and shared in over 350 photos on our return).
Thank you Tracy and Andrew for a wonderful adventure - I'm still smiling!

We have just experienced an excellent bespoke trip with Tracy and Andrew. They were fantastic guides and hosts and looked after our group of friends and their individual requirements. Thank you to Michael taking care of dietary needs. Walking in the Southern Forests and part of the Cape to Cape was exhilarating and informative as well as a gourmet experience with visits to local bars, cafes, wineries and restaurants including tapas, gourmet burgers and a degustation. There was plenty of food and drink and they said we would put on weight and we did! Accommodation was excellent and made for a comfortable nights sleep and easy preparation of the breakfast they supplied. We cannot recommend OTBT highly enough.

A most memorable experience of SW Western Australia with friends with Off the beaten track WA The Magnificent Seven had a specially designed SW wanderers by Tracy. We had an absolutely wonderful 6 days. The walks were picturesque and we saw many different species of plants, fungi, birds, reptiles and of the diverse sceneries. The coastline of the was breathtaking. Tracy and Andrew took amazing care of the group and nothing was impossible. They took us to great places for our meals, the accommodation was very comfortable and the play list in the bus was excellent. Today my wife and I did a 10km hike workshop along the bibulmum track with Off the Beaten Track and Outdoors WA learning about how to plan hikes from a couple of hours to multi day hikes the guides were extremely informative and learnt lots of great tips. The trails are a lovely place to trek and whilst it was raining it was a very enjoyable day. These workshops are subsidised by the government to get people outdoors and I'm all for it and I highly recommend this experience and it's great for all kinds of fitness levels get amongst it.
