Really are THE BEST Once again I couldn't pass up an opportunity to go fishing with AOC when we were in Broome. A fantastic experience from the first contact with office staff to the last getting off the bus on our return after a great day of fishing. Prompt pick up the morning of trip, organised crew whole day of fishing & helpful with baiting lines ready for the next catch. Skipper was great landing us at spots but when needed moved on quickly to another fishing spot. Caught fish to take home with us. Food was prepared fresh & provided while out fishing.
We just always enjoy our trips with this mob.
If you get a chance while in Broome, head out with AOC, they really are THE BEST.

Great bus tour of Broome town Fabulous day doing bus tour through Broome. Well worth it - got a great morning’s adventure to all the special spots with lovely and very interesting stories about the history of the area. The driver was friendly and took the time to make the tour work for each person. 5 stars ✨

Well worth it ! Cannot rate this tour highly enough . I’m sorry to say I forgot the name of the wonderful driver / guide. She was fantastic , friendly and very knowledgeable. The weather was so hot so this tour is a fantastic way to see Broome without all the walking in between destinations. Plenty of time at stops to take photos and walk around and investigate things. I strongly recommend if you wish to fish you must go with this company. I found them faultless and had the best day ever. The deckhands were very professional and experienced. The skipper was really helpful all day. To go on this vessel is to have fun. They provide snacks and lunch this is the best value for your money ever.

Went out on a half day charter and couldn't be happier.
The crew were very helpful and friendly baiting up hooks constantly, helping pull the fish in if needed and always keeping the boat clean.

Beautiful experience Fantastic trip. Saw quite a few whales and some turtles. Staff were lovely and knowledgeable. Great snacks. We had such a calm day too. Coming back at sunset was a beautiful view.

Had an absolutely amazing time! We saw a bunch of Humpback whales that were breaching and being quite playful. The marine biologists gave some information out about the whales. The snacks on board were also delicious. Would definitely go out again.

Most enjoyable afternoon with friendly team - We had a great time on the boat with a perfect weather and in anticipation of whale sighting this afternoon. We were lucky to see 4-5 whales not far from the shore. The highlight was when we saw two or three whales having a delightful play at a distance. It was wonderful to watch their antics.
We also saw a poisonous water snake. Another highlight was the glorious sunset on our return journey.
Overall we enjoyed the tour, delicious snacks and professional service from a friendly team.

Friday 8 August morning whale watching trip was an amazing adventure. A walk onto cable beach from the vehicle transfer, then into the water to get the next transfer and onto the boat. I have never started a whale watching cruise like that before. And whales found us one beached, we saw pectoral fins, a deceased whales remains with circling tiger sharks, 2 sea snakes and 3 whales so curious about our boat the went under it a couple of times. It was Absolutely Awesome.

Fun family fishing day A great day for our family (teenaged kids) of five on the water. Catching stripe perch, coral trout, red emperor, bluebone and mackerel.
Staff were fantastic, boat was very comfortable and kept very clean throughout the day whilst fishing.
Lovely fresh lunch provided.

Interesting cruise Interesting tour. Could be a challenge for those with mobility issues. Tour starts walking in the water to the runabout then climbing onto the main boat and ends walking through the water from the runabout to the bus parked on Cable Beach just after sunset. Hard to see at that time.
Lovely staff but not as relaxing as one would expect.

Mike, Jimmy and Ryan have been amazing. From the moment they picked us up to the moment they dropped us off, it was a blast. Plenty of fishes, laught and memories of a life time.

What an amazing experience An amazing experience. Spotted lots of snubfin dolphins, boobies and terns. Dolphins and birds were diving for fish. Our dietary needs were catered for. Team was friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming. Highly recommend this tour.

These guys are fantastic. We did the sunset whale watching cruise and it was great fun and very informative. Delicious snacks and very helpful staff.
I then booked a fishing charter and got a discount for multiple tours. Will definitely use them when we come back next year.

Mesmerizing experience 🐳 We were surrounded by whales today showing us there unusual behaviors which were explained to us by a very knowledgeable Georgie and chatting with her it was obvious she knew her stuff. Phoebe also was very approachable and obviously loved her job. Snacks were awesome and well received. Thank-you girls you made our tour which was very organized. Fantastic experience 💙🐳💙

Sunset whale watching What a great sunset whale watching experience. The friendly crew were fantastic at finding many whales - and the odd turtle and dolphin. Had great knowledge and also lovely snacks and a soft drink. Well planned and professional.

Amazing whale watching trip Fantastic tour - Phoebe, Georgie, Chris and Robin were an excellent crew and looked after us superbly well.
Incredible close encounters with high numbers of humpback whales. Interesting commentary, tasty nibbles, and a massive coolbox to store our BYO frosty beers. Couldn't really have asked for a better day out..! To top it off, we were steaming back watching the sunset when a whale fully breached over the horizon the icing on the cake!

Great day. Bloody brilliant. Great day. Haven't got a clue about fishing but crew were great, helpful , and friendly and I caught 3 nice fish including a big Spanish Mackerel. Big bag of fish fillets to take hope. Very happy.

AOC’s Sunset Dolphin Cruise was truly incredible. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable, and handed out great canapés and drinks, all included in the trip. We saw lots of whales and the sunset on the return was very memorable. Would definitely recommend!

fantastic sunset snubfin dolphins cruise. was so amazing to see so many dolphins and other sea animals tonight. Phoebe made us feel so welcome from the moment she picked us up. Her knowledge is great and was able to tell us so much about these beautiful creatures. the kids were made to feel welcome and the food was yummy. Miss 2yo particularly loved the bruscetta! thanks for such an awesome evening! definitely recommend!

Great fishing trip My 14 year old son and I went on the half day fishing trip. Boat was great, staff were great and we caught some good fish on the trip. The deckhands were great with the kids, helping them reel in fish and with bait. All round a great trip.

Good day on the water Would defintely recommend this tour operator. The team were friendly very helpful and had a lovely experience with the family on the water. Pity we didn't see too many dolphins but can't predict the currents and had a 50 metre restriction.

Amazing fishing experience. Had an amazing experience with AOC. We only did the half day but we saw whales on the way out and then caught amazing fish (which they were nice enough to package so we could take it back to Perth). Between the two of us we caught about 8 fish including an amazing coral trout. The crew were attentive and the vessel was great.

Best fishing charter in Oz Our family of three embarked on this charter from Broome as part of our holiday. It did not disappoint. Amazing crew, great catering and best of all -we nailed the fishing!!!!!!!! Took home a huge haul and we're still eating it!!!! I can highly recommend.

Still the best After more than a decade as others have come and gone AOC still does it best.
A great well equipped boat and a very helpful and friendly crew that work hard to get you onto the fish.
I returned to our accomodation with a bag full of snapper/ emperor/ Spanish flag fillets that meant we could eat truly fresh fish for the rest of our stay - again!
Add in a few breaching whales and a couple of cool drinks and it is a wonderful day out.

Great experience What a wonderful experience seeing the Humpback Whales in their environment with a number of mother and calf sightings as well. Awesome

Started off with a 0715 pick up from our accommodation, then at the ramp by 0800. We for onto the water rather quickly after a lovely safety demonstration.

The skipper was full of wisdom in regards to the local waterways and conservation of local marine life, which was easy to be heard by multiple speakers throughout the boat. We were lucky enough to see just under a dozen dolphins, a couple of sea snakes, flat back turtles, a few swimmer crabs, and a beautiful 3m mantaray. Honestly, it's worth doing; I would say if you are short on time but want to see the beautiful local sea fauna, as someone who's done a fair few tours in Broome, this would be one of my top recommendations.

Boom net was great fun, FYI that kids must be accompanied by a guardian whilst in the net; so parents bring your swimmers!

The staff were amazing, super lovely taking photos for families and couples of their little adventure. Plenty of food provided with a bar available, even catering to vegetarian/dietary restricted guests without prior notice of the cruise. There is plenty of shaded area and seating both on the upper & lower deck. The toilet was clean, easy to use, and well ventilated with prompting for those not used to boat loo's. I did notice that a few individuals with dexterity/strength issues struggled with the boat transfers and boom net access, but that is a given when in the ocean. There are plenty of handrails for those who need it.

Best whales ever :) The sunset whale watching tour was insanely good on this particular day. Several whales breaching, including a very active calf, informative commentary by the team.
Plus the wonderful colours of the Broome shore and ocean, it was stunning.

A moving and unforgettable experience The experience was really well organise, with punctual pick-up, seemless transport to the boat, and information about how the afternoon was going to unfold.
The on-board marine biologist was very informative, used, easy to understand language, and seemed very passionate about what she was doing. We were privileged to see a Humpback with a newborn calf, and it was so good to be able to understand the behaviour thanks to Amy's explanations. It was very moving.
The catering was lovely and the sunset as we headed back was a bonus.
At the end of the day, drop off was flexible and easy, very much appreciated.

Hubby and i thoroughly enjoyed our day fishing on Absolute Charters. I caught my first ever spanish mackerel, and a nice black snapper, along with a few other fish. The skipper and crew wer wonderful, and we had the most fantadtic day, thanks guys ????

The Sunset (Whale Watching) Cruise with Absolute Ocean Charters was the best I’ve been on and made our family holiday to Broome so memorable.

We loved hearing the marine biologist’s interesting talks, listening to the gentle giants sing their whale song via the hydraphone and see them splash and play about.

The crew were friendly, professional and welcoming.
We could move all around the boat, there was plenty of room.
The snacks were delicious and loved that we could byo drinks. We felt right at home.

We will remember this amazing family adventure for years to come!

Crew were great and we were so happy to see the Snubfin dolphins. Highly recommended

Brilliant ocean fishing experience My wife and I had a brilliant open water fishing experience with Absolute Ocean Charters (AOC). Boat was a good size and well powered to handle the fresh winds. Top notch crew with captain Scott, and Jim and Matt working the deck, making sure bait buckets were full, gave a hand whenever needed to pull in a fish/replace the lines - basically anything to maximize fishing time. AOC provided all equipment, plus morning tea, lunch and soft drinks. They also filleted our catch.

The experience also included trawl fishing where we caught a mackerel and tuna. This was divided among all the fishers. We changed fishing spots whenever sharks started hanging around as they’d just feed on any catches.

Admin team also very helpful. We called up the day before and they put my wife and I on the waiting list; they were able to accommodate us both when 1 spot became available. We took turns to use the 1 line, which worked well.

Tip: you could end up with a lot of fish afterwards, so this trip could be handy in providing meals for a few days afterwards. We feasted on sashimi and fresh grilled fish with a simple shop for garlic butter, soy sauce, wasabi, salad stuff and a good knife. Hot chips are easy to buy.

Will do this again next time we’re in Broome.

Absolute top time. Went in with literally no knowledge about fishing and came home with some amazing stories and kilograms of fish. Fantastic Day! What a great experience from start to finish! Absolute Ocean Charters had thought of everything to make our day a memorable one. We caught a good selection of generous sized fish. Nothing was too much trouble. All our fish were cleaned and filleted for us. The staff were all wonderful and couldn’t do enough to help everyone one board. Lunch and drinks were included and were all spot on. One of the best charters we’ve been on and would highly recommend.

Pick up form our accom was bang on time, quick to set off, fish were being caught at every location the skipper took us to, the boat was a great size with plenty of room to move about very clean, staff were super fast at baiting and replacing hooks, All staff we also very friendly and approachable, morning tea and lunch platters were fresh and plentiful, no one left without landing a fish or two, and personally we took home enough fish for several lunches and dinners.
Cracking value for money! We'll be back again for sure!

I took my fishing mad nephew on the 1 day reef fishing trip, from the moment we were picked up to the moment we were dropped back, the whole day was great. The skipper and crew worked so hard to ensure everyone on board had a wonderful experience. We all caught so many fish, some of them quite large! I couldn't recommend these guys more highly, they are a wonderful option when you're in Broome. Afterwards I promptly booked the Sunset Cruise for the rest of the family we all enjoyed that as well, having a marine biologist on board was such a great addition and we saw turtles and dolphins, as well as a history lesson on the region.They are a first class operator.

We took 6 kids out on the charter and had the most satisfying day, they caught an abundance of variety of fish which we enjoyed eating for the following days, the crew was amazing helping everyone out but a big thanks to the skipper he was always getting us on the fish, would highly recommend and will definitely return.
