Relax on our 4 hour whale watching tour aboard the beautiful catamaran ‘Ballena’. With shaded decks and comfortable seating, ‘Ballena’ is a stable platform for great viewing experiences and uninterrupted vantage points. Being a quiet, low powered catamaran allows more intimate and friendly encounters with these giant mammals, encouraging a more eco-friendly and sustainable way to appreciate the great whale migration.
Observe the Humpback whales breaching, pec slapping, waving see mother whales teaching their calves to swim, sea turtles, sea snakes and dolphins!
Seasonal conditions may affect start times for this tour to provide the best possible experience for our customers.
You will be picked up by our transfer vehicle from the front of your accomodation as close to the allocated pick up time as possible however these times can vary slightly. We will do our best to contact you if the transfer is running behind schedule so please allow for a 5 minute delay before contacting for a whereabouts of the transfer. Thank you for your understanding!
Transfer is to vessel departure point at either Gantheaume Point Beach for Cable Beach cruises. Please be aware this is a beach transfer which includes a very shallow wade to the transfer vessel. For maximum comfort, we recommend shoes that you can easily slip on/off and shorts or pants that can be easily rolled up.
On board our catamaran Ballena you will find bean bags and cushions for comfort, ample shade, amenities and change room facilities, a fully serviced bar with beers, wines and cocktails available for purchase along with complimentary canapés and a grazing board.
Remember to Bring:
– Towel and bathers (if you would like to swim in the boom net)
– Hat and sunglasses

If we unfortunately have to cancel due to weather, you will be contacted and offered a reschedule to a different day.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Cancellation Policy:
Broome Tours Charters: cancellations made more than forty-eight (48) hours prior to departure date may be made without penalty and a full refund will be given to the customer. Cancellations made within forty-eight (48) hours of departure date will result in loss of total costs.
Private Charters: cancellations made more than three (3) months prior to departure date (as logged in operator’s booking system) may be made without penalty and a full refund will be given to the customer. Cancellations made within three (3) months of departure will result in loss of specified deposit, and cancellations made within two (2) weeks prior to departure will result in loss of total costs.
The operator has the right to retain all deposits received up to the amount of the cancellation fee and invoices will be issued for any further amounts outstanding.
Weather Cancellations: cancellations made by the operator due to weather conditions will entitle the customer to a full refund of the Fare Price. Please note that if the customer made the booking for a cruise or private charter through a booking agent, all refunds of deposits and booking fees are to be obtained directly from the booking agent. Such booking agent may at their discretion retain a booking fee less than or equal to 100% of the total price.
Other Cancellations: cancellations may be made at the operator’s discretion due to mechanical breakdowns or failing to meet the minimum numbers required to operate prior to the cut off time (4 hours before departure), which may result in the vessel being unable to operate. If this occurs the customer will receive a full refund of Fare Price, should the customer be unable to travel on an alternate date.Please note that if the customer made the booking for a cruise or private charter through a booking agent, all refunds of deposits and booking fees are to be obtained directly from the booking agent. Such booking agent may at their discretion retain a booking fee less than or equal to 100% of the total price.
Failure to Board: It is the passenger’s responsibility to ensure that they arrive on time at the nominated point of pick up by the courtesy bus or for the departure of the tender for boarding of the vessel. Failure to do so will mean that the passenger forfeits the full fare price to the operator.
