Uncover the best wines that the Swan Valley has to offer on an Up Close and Local wine adventure. Our guaranteed small groups (max. 11 people) mean that we have access to wineries that won’t accommodate the big tour buses – so you get away from the crowds and off the regular beaten tourist path to receive a more memorable and intimate and one-on-one tasting experience.
On this half day wine tour in the Swan Valley, we visit wineries that are all family owned, and have been hand-picked by us for their quality and historic contribution to the region (and their amazing wine, of course). The wineries we select can change daily to ensure that you get the best possible experience on each day, and at each winery. We take the time to discuss the wines – sometimes with the winemaker themselves – so you can get to know the locals and learn about the Swan Valley’s history as Australia’s second oldest wine growing region.
All wine tastings are included in your tour, including reserve and award winning wines, and you will have the chance to sample well over 30 wines – everything from a Verdelho to a Durif to a Muscat. Most of the wines you will try are produced small batch, so the only place you can find them is at the cellar door.
The afternoon is set at a relaxed pace so that we have plenty of time for questions and discussion, and you will also enjoy a delicious afternoon cheese platter to compliment your wine tasting at one of the wineries.
While we may be serious about our wine, you can rest assured this is definitely a fun afternoon discovering the real gems of the Swan Valley with fellow wine lovers.
Our tours are guaranteed to be a maximum of 11 people, so that you get a personalised and memorable experience.

What to Bring
Our tours run rain, hail or shine! We provide SPF50+ sunscreen and some umbrellas for inclement weather, you may wish to bring a hat in case we spend some time outside.
For the responsible service of alcohol we do carry bottled water onboard, however to do our bit for the environment we do encourage you to bring your own water bottle to refill throughout the day.
All tastings are included in your tour, if you wish to make any additional purchases to take home please bring cash or credit card.
Pick-Up Time
Your exact pick up time will be emailed to you, usually 2 days prior to your tour. Please be ready at your selected pick up location 10 minutes prior so we don’t lose valuable time from your tour.
If you have any problems getting to your pick-up location on the day of your tour, please phone +61 423 126 254 as soon as you can (remember you can usually get your hotel to do this for you).
We cannot wait more than 5 minutes after your designated pick up time for latecomers as we have a schedule to stick to.
Pick-Up Location
If you have selected the ‘I need help’ pick-up option, we will contact you prior to the tour to arrange a meeting point and instructions on how to get there (if needed).
You will be emailed instructions for the exact meeting point for your selected pick up location.
On this tour we will be sampling a lot of alcoholic beverages so we advise against driving to your pick-up location and recommend arranging alternative transportation.
Please Note
A minimum of four (4) people is required for this tour to proceed as scheduled. Should the minimum number not be met, you will be notified as soon as possible to reschedule or refund your booking.
By law, seatbelts must be worn at all times and guests must remain seated whilst in the vehicle.
Alcohol is not to be consumed whilst in the vehicle.
