Swan Valley wine tour A wonderful day visiting great wineries, tapas bar, gin distillery and chocolate maker. The food choices were delicious. The standout for me was the Sun Gin distillery Our guide, Peter, was knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommended.

Had a fantastic day touring wineries in Swan Valley. Peter was a phenomenal guide, telling us the history of the region, joking around with the group, and ensuring we got to all spots safe and on time. Definitely recommend

Lack of response I didn’t get the exact meet up point on my email, I arrived earlier than the departure time and tried to call and send email to reach out but I didn’t get any response. I asked for a refund it got declined. Although I was really looking forward for the trip, quite disappointed.

Sue exceeded our expectations every step of the way! She ensured we had the best day - she squished as much as possible into the time we had and took the time to speak to every guest and ensure we all had the best experience possible. We love you Sue, thank you for making Courtney’s birthday such a great day!!

We chose this winery tour to celebrate our anniversary. The day was well organised. We visited 3 different wineries including Twin Hills--one we'd visited before on another tour. Each winery tasting was enjoyable with the Lancaster and Twin Hills being the best. We were given several wines to taste at each of these. The Olive Farm estate tasting seemed to be more of an afterthought with the girl racing back and forth from our tasting table to serve people at the counter. We had very few wines to taste here. The included lunch was excellent. We also visited Sin Gin distillery. This was a very different sort of 'tasting' experience but well organised and enjoyable. The visit to the chocolate shop was a nice 'final touch'.
Our guide/driver 'Sue' provided excellent commentary for the whole trip and included historical information about the places we passed/visited.
We've done a couple other Swan Valley Tours. The only improvement I would suggest is that you offer hotel drop off at the end of the day. We had several bags of wines and other purchases and needed to juggle these as we walked from the drop-off point in Beaufort street to the nearest 'Cat' bus to get back to our hotel.
All in all, this day was good value for money.

Great way to see the Swan Valley One of the best Wine tours we’ve done. Good quality wineries along with some good brewery/cidery and the usual Swan Valley regular haunts like the Choc factory.
Wes, our driver, was a great bloke and we were lucky to have a great group.

I was looking for a special experience for the three of us to celebrate my birthday, and what better way to spend it than on a full wine tour! I booked this experience through Groupon (though you can also book directly), and it exceeded all expectations.

From the moment we were picked up, Sue made us feel incredibly welcome, and it was clear straight away that she has a genuine passion for what she does. The full-day package included comfortable transport with pick-up and drop-off, three wine tastings, a gin distillery visit, a chocolate stop, and a very delicious lunch at the second winery — amazing value for a full day out.

The tour was perfectly paced and never felt rushed, which made the whole experience relaxed and enjoyable. The first winery even provided a lovely cheese platter, which was a great way to start the day.

Sue was fantastic throughout the tour, sharing helpful information about each stop, the timing, and what to expect next. She also regularly reminded us to drink plenty of water due to the heat, which I really appreciated. For anyone who purchased products along the way, Sue provided an esky to keep everything cool, and to finish off the day she played some classic Aussie music on the drive back — such a fun and thoughtful touch.

I would highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting a well-organised, relaxed, and enjoyable wine tour experience. It was the perfect way to celebrate my birthday and a day I won’t forget

PS: From what I’ve been told, the wineries can change, but on our tour we stopped at Olive Farm Wines (my favourite stop), Nikola Estate, Sin Gin, and Whistlers Chocolate Co — all fantastic and well worth the visit.

Must do experience for wine lovers! An excellent experience throughout. Sue was a first class host and we visited three very different but highly enjoyable vineyards.
A further highlight was the visit to the Sin Gin Distillery where the host demonstrated his passion for gin while plying us with some excellent samples.
Highly recommended.

Half Day wine tour to Lancaster, Twin Hill and Nikola Estate wineries plus Sin Gin distillery and Whistler chocolate shop. Perfect tour, just long enough. Cheese at every winery and long enough at each stop to keep it interesting. Visits the slightly less popular places to give a more real vibe. Great guiding from Sue. Highly recommended 👌

A wine tour to remember We had a wonderful experience and our guide Sue was so knowledgeable and engaging.
The 3 wineries we visited offered a wonderful selection of wines however we would have liked more detailed information about the wines we were drinking.
Overall a most enjoyable experience and we would definitely recommend!

This is a really good day out, which I would definitely recommend. We visited 4 wineries where we tasted 5 or 6 wines at each. We also had lunch at Mandoon brewery and a visit to the Margaret River Chocolate Company, finishing the day with a further brewery visit. Each wine tasting is only a small quantity but after you've had 20 tastes on a hot day the visit can be a little overwhelming, you definitely need to pace yourself! You get about 45 minutes at each winery so the only drawback is that it is done at quite a pace.

Fab afternoon out! I’m not one to really write reviews but this trip was amazing and worth every penny. Our guide, Sue, was fab! You got to taste so many different wines at 3 different locations, it was a great afternoon. I went solo which I was initially nervous about but I met some lovely people who made me feel really welcome - including Sue herself.

I had a great day in the Swan Valley with Black Swan Tours. I had initially booked in for a tour on a day where there weren't enough people and they were very accommodating about getting me on a half-day tour that was going out the next day. Sue was an excellent guide, sharing tons of information about the area and the places we were visiting. Each of the wineries had a lot to offer and it was nice to see a mix of smaller and larger producers. The snacks provided throughout the tour were also excellent. Definitely a fun way to get a taste of the Swan Valley.

This is a great way to visit wineries and have lunch for a reasonable price. Our guide/driver was very knowledgeable and pleasan I really enjoyed visiting the gin distillery and learning about the flavors they offered. Each stop was unique and very informative

Terrible experience. Abandoned on the roadsid. Our group of six joined the tour on November 3. After boarding the bus to leave the distillery, the tour guide, Barry, prevented one of my friend from getting on, claiming that he looked unwell and might vomit. We were given two options: leave my friend alone at the distillery or have the entire group disembark. In the end, we all left the bus, just as the distillery was closing. We were left waiting on the roadside for an Uber to pick us up. The tour guide abandoned us based solely on his assumption, without raising any concerns earlier at the distillery. This was an absolutely terrible experience.

Best day! What a brilliant day in Swan Valley. This tour was truly the best. We were blessed by a fabulous tour guide/driver Barrie and a great crowd of people of all ages and backgrounds. Would do this again in a heartbeat!

Worth the money Yes very informative lovely choice of wines and cheeses. Hosts had a lot of knowledgeable information regarding the different wines to taste.

Outstanding half day tour with an exceptional guide. Sue was a star. We visited 3 diverse wineries, a gin distillery and a chocolate factory. The wineries worked because they were very different. Laid back Australian, low quantity bespoke European style winery and the classic wedding venue / high end restaurant. We received around 10 tastings of winery- with more available and cheese and crackers to share at each venue. The gin distillery was good fun and the unexpected pleasure was the really good quality chocolate place. Sue kept us on point with her superb organisation skills, safe driving and knowledgeable commentary. She was excellent. Having participated in (too) many wine tastings this one was most enjoyable and excellent value. Thanks Sue - you were superb.

Great host, wine, gin and chocolate Sue was a fantastic host. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating with our Mum who was in a wheelchair. The first winery was disappointing as the server just poured the wine and didn’t provide any information about the wines ir the vineyard. The other two wineries and gin distillery were fantastic. Nice wine, knowledgeable and accommodating with Mum. The gin distillery was well worth it. Again lots of information was provided and the gin was nice. And last the chocolate shop was a great way to finish off the tour. Thanks Sue for making our day enjoyable.

Black Swan is the best for Swan Valley! What a wonderful day in Swan Valley and Black Swan and Mark were amazing guides. And they took us to small gems where the experience was up close, personal and fun! Don't go for the "big" tour companies. We highly recommend Mark and Black Swan. Mark not only lives and works in the valley, but he is well known and liked!

Excellent half day tour to 3 wineries, a gin & chocolate tasting. Sue was our driver/guide & did a great job. All 3 wineries were v different but that made the day even better. Our group of 12 included a hen party who were great company!

Wine, gin and chocolate! We visited 3 vineyards and sampled several wines at each. They weren’t to my taste but other visitors on our tour enjoyed them. The gin distillery was our favourite by far, closely followed by the chocolate shop!

Each winery had a different character and it was quite laid back.

A pleasant way to see the Swan Valley We visited 3 very different vineyards and were given a variety of wines to taste. Cheese and biscuits were available at 2 of them, which was very welcome. The grounds of the last vineyard, Nicolas, are beautiful. The gin distillery was our favourite and we tried about 4 different types, followed by an explanation of how the gins were made. A brief stop at the chocolate shop was very enjoyable and there was an amazing array of different chocolates and gifts to purchase.

Above and beyond We had a lovely time on the 1/2 day wine tour and our driver Arnold went above and beyond bringing me back my phone after I accidentally left it on the bus, thanks so much

Went on swan valley wine tasting tour. Also ended up having a gin and chocolate tasting in addition. Our tour guide Sue was very informative re. The history of Perth and the wineries. She was also very attentive to everyone. Went to 3 wineries and had 20 different wines PLUS 5 different gin varieties and chocolate samplers. Started at noon, tipsy by 5pm. All in all a great day and highly recommended!

We went on a Swan Valley Tour. I was with my friend Lydia. Our tour guide was Barry, very kind, informative, professional. It was Easter Monday and even though some things were closed, we still got to experience everything. We had a fantastic time.The history of the area was very interesting and Barry was spinning some interesting true stories and his humour was refreshing. The group was friendly. Found some things I had to have, a dry champers, a Vordhello and some chocolate. Little specialty gin packaged well for a ????. Recommended to anyone..

We joined the wine tour with Black Swan Tours. Claire was our guide, she's amazing. Our tour mates were very nice too, there were 6 of us, it's a good size to get to know each other and socialise a bit. I personally don't take cheese, but I enjoyed the wine, liquor and chocolates very much. The tour was very well organised. There was whatsapp confirmation the day before re time and pickup point. We visited 3 vineyards, one small family run one, one big estate and one medium size one with outdoor setting. It's a good variety. We had a wonderful afternoon. Thanks.

Fun tours! The guide was kind and nice.
We visited three wineries and found delicious wines.
Chocolate was more plentiful than in Perth city and we were able to buy lots of chocolate.
Even if your English is not good, just be brave and you will be fine! It will be an enjoyable tour. It is a very enjoyable tour and I recommend it.

High quality tasting experience The guide Sue was marvellous & gave a lot of information on Perth & WA which made the trip out to Swan Valley fly by. Enjoyed having a small group so you could engage with the winemakers & take our time at each location. The wineries were a good mix of small family owned to larger event destination vineyards which gave good variety with all staff at each very warm, welcoming & knowledgeable. Lots of tips on pairing wine to food at Olive Farm stop which was interesting. Particularly loved the visit to the Sin Gin distillery at the end both for the quality gin & for the variety to the tour. Would recommend a good brunch beforehand as it’s a 5 hour trip (which flew by to be fair) with only some cheese to nibble at the tastings.

Funful and joyful wine tasting experience We very much appreciate the wonderful guide Sue in sharing her knowledge and stories in Perth. The wine tasting is a great experience. As hind sight, should have bought more wines starting from the first stop Twin Hills wineries.

Great experience Claire took us on this great tour, we visited 5 wineries that were all very unique and all very enjoyable. Claire was very punctual and during the drive we were given lots of interesting information about the general area. At each stop we tasted 4-5 wines and given a little detail about each one by passionate tasting guides. Despite the amount of places visited we never felt too rushed to enjoy the scenery or to make any purchases.

We had a great tour with Sue, she was amazing. We visited some great venues and enjoyed the samples and lunch. Highly recommended.
