What to Expect on Your Adventure
Every year between June and August, humpback whales journey past the Sydney coastline. On this approximate 3-hour cruise, we head out through the iconic Sydney Heads into the open ocean to find these playful giants. You might witness spectacular breaches, tail slaps, and spyglassing!

Our weekend tours depart from 8 June 2024 to 18 August 2024. Choose from our convenient departure points: Manly Wharf 3 (at 10:00 am) or Clontarf Marina (at 9:15 am by pre-arrangement).

Important Departure Information
Thanks for your booking. Please be at Manly Wharf 3 ready to board 15 minutes before the scheduled departure time. The wharf is located in front of the Manly Wharf Hotel. The tour departs from Manly Wharf 3. We then proceed out of the Heads to see what we can find!
What to Bring & Inclusions
- Please bring warm clothing, a camera and any snacks or drinks you would like (BYO alcohol is permitted) .
- Soft drinks/ bottled water is included in the ticket price.
- Lifejackets are available for all passengers.
Weather & Sea Conditions
Please note we closely monitor the weather and swell conditions leading up to the tour and will reschedule the tour if the weather looks too rough or windy. However there is generally some swell offshore so if you are prone to seasickness we recommend taking anti nausea medication prior to departure.
