Tasmanian Hike of Wine Glass Bay and boat cruise. Eliot was an excellent guide. Had a wonderful time enjoying the scenery. Lovely tea and snack at lookout point followed by a tasty lunch on the beach and boat ride along the shore to our hotel. Worth every penny.

Excellent hike and great way to see the park! We had a great time on our hike with Freycinet Walking Tour. It was a great way to see the park, and our guide Elliot was kind and helpful. They even went the extra mile to ensure that my husband had his gluten free meal. The boat taxi back to the lodge was a welcome relief after a hot day, and a lot of fun! Would highly recommend, although probably important for others who wish to join that the walk is quite strenuous.

A most wonderful walking tour with the best guide ever! Our guide David was excellent and brought us on a lovely walking route with many sightings of birds which he was very knowledgeable about, lovely beaches, flora and fauna and the most beautiful views. He was tireless in answering our questions and telling us stories, history and fun facts along the way. He was most patient and took great care of our party of 3. This was even more appreciated as my next tour to cradle mountain with Viator was with the most dreadful, impatient, rude and reckless tour guide.

The Perfect Guide foe the Perfect One Day Walk in Tasmania The perfect 1 day walk in Tasmania with the perfect guide! We were very fortunate to have Sara, the owner of Experiential Tasmania, guide our fabulous walk around Freycinet National Park and Wine Glass Bay.

As soon as I booked the walk for two couples, the communication with Sara was amazing. She ensured we knew exactly what to pack and what to prepare for, so as a first time hiker.

I felt very comfortable with what lay ahead. The walk is probably a 6 out of 10 in difficultly. Much of it is flat and we explored gorgeous bushland tracks as well as walking along divine white sandy beaches and higher vantage points overlooking the beauty of Wine Glass Bay. But there are some steep climbs to reach prime viewing points.

Sarah chatted happily with us all, answering our questions and hit the right balance of chatting to the chatty and leaving the quieter walkers have their space.

The backpacks, morning tea and lunch provided were perfect.

Can’t recommend it highly enough.

Wineglass Bay experience Sarah was a wonderful guide/host/conversationalist for our small group of four. The views to Wineglass Bay and onward were exceptional and we managed the 12 km hike with reasonable ease. Sarah was very patient and conscious of keeping liquids up at every stop. It's not often we feel compelled to write a review but it would be remiss of us not to spread the good word about the perfectly curated tour put together by Sara and her team, as part of Stillwater Seven's "Finer Things" package. We met Sara at our hotel in Launceston and she drove us across to Tamar Valley to introduce us to the delights on offer by the gastronomic hub. It was so special getting to hear the stories of local businesses directly from the founders at Utzinger Winery and Turner Stillhouse Distillery. It was like having backstage passes and even though a luxurious experience, we were impressed by how grounded and truly passionate the people we met are. Sara is a wonderfully genuine person who freely shared her knowledge of Tassie with us before dropping us off for a tasting at each location. We were so caught up in the experience, we hardly took any pictures, so this pic from our delightful lunch at Timbre Kitchen is the only proof we have that the day was not a dream. Keen to try some of the other tours on offer by Experiential Tasmania next time we visit ❤️

Our group of 10 travelled to Tassie to celebrate a 50th birthday. I was looking for private transportation to take us to the Tamar Valley for a wine tour on the big day and stumbled across Experiential Tasmania. Sara was very helpful and even organised an extended birthday lunch instead of the usual 2 courses. We absolutely loved our day and discovered a new favourite winery to boot. We would likely have never dropped into Utzinger of our own accord but we all absolutely loved them and it’s thanks to Sara’s local knowledge. If you’re in Tassie and looking for a local company with a genuine passion for their home turf, look these guys up!

Pleasant day out Wineglass Bay to Hazard Bay loop with Anne, who was very informative and interesting. Set a good pace, lunch spot was gorgeous with the dolphins swimming past.

Highlight Freycinet walking experience! Excellent experience walking the Wineglass Bay to Hazards Beach circuit led by Sara. Sara is a fantastic guide she is very friendly with lots of background knowledge of the area and made the experience positive and seamless. The walk itself traverses a range of ecosystems and the most stunning landscapes including Wineglass Bay and Hazards Beach. The walk is grade 4 so there are some areas that are steep and a little more challenging but overall the range of the walk is achievable with some lovely stops at lookouts and beaches along the way. A refreshing dip in the water will keep you going! I would highly recommend doing this walk with Sara and her team from Experiential Tasmania.

Wonderful My wife and I throughly enjoyed the walk, we were on our own with our guide who was excellent and informative. He took us at the pace we wanted to go. We loved having tea on the rocks at Wineglass Bay and appreciated that he moved the boat return trip from Hazards Bay back to the Lodge earlier as the wind freshened significantly. Highly recommended.

Covered it all - loved it from start to the end Loved the tour! Our guide Shane was outstanding. Very knowledgeable about the nature and history of the area. Made the tour really entertaining with his funny commentary. Highly recommend this tour for everyone who is looking to get a good idea of the area and would like to see nature and of course Wineglass Bay. Definitely not too difficult (there were about a 1000 steps - but it’s totally manageable) and a tour for everyone.

Amazing We started of the tour in reverse to do winds arising in the afternoon. I truly appreciated this gesture because the boat ride is what attracted us. We saw a seal playing in the water and a pair of eagles. Our guide Shane was incredibly knowledgeable about the flora and fauna on our walk. It just adds this extra special! All in all the investment definitely paid of. We highly recommend you book it.

A superb trip! We had a wonderful hike to wineglass bay and over to hazard bay with Andrew as our guide. It is an amazing route. We stopped for tea once and for lunch on the beach later. Some younger folks would hike the remaining distance back to the start but we were picked up by a water taxi for the last 6km. Altogether a superb trip. Our highest recommendation!

Bespoke Pipers Brook Wine Tour Sara went out of her way to arrange a bespoke Pipers Brook wine tour for our party of 2 based on our restricted availability in the Tamar and it was one of the best experiences we had in Tasmania! Our guide Naomi was lovely, informative and kept us on track, making our day as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. The team has clearly established strong relationships with local venues and our private appointments at each cellar door were carefully planned and very special. First class service and tour - definitely recommend.

Totally enjoyable and informative hike We totally enjoyed our hike with Shane. He was so knowledgeable about the history of the area and the flora and fauna. Pointing out 5 different orchids for instance. The hike itself provided a range of topography and the views were amazing. Shane easily accommodated our different abilities. This walking tour was well organised from day one, we were kept unto date with emails regarding times and where to meet our guide with information what to bring with us and they also provided everything you need if you left something in your hotel.Morning tea and lunch was provided for us. Yes you can go by yourself but you will miss out on the commentary. Hilary [our guide] explains the geology of the park, flora and fauna.She talked about the indigenous people who lived there and answered any question we had.

We took the Experience the Tamar Wine Tour as a result of receiving a gift voucher from our son and it was the most wonderful day where Sara and James tailored the experience based on quality rather than trying to get to every winery in the area. From the time that Sara collected us to the time that James dropped us off to our accommodation, there was a warm, engaging vibe that flowed.

This really was all about the experience, the insights that were gleaned from Matthias at Utzinger to the contrast of Stoney Rise on to the outstanding food and service at Timbre. It was a wonderfully tailored blend of experiences at a fabulous pace that allowed for savouring everything and for wonderful conversations with people taking risks to deliver each of the components.

Great bush walk in Freycinet Park Great bush walk in Freycinet National Park. James was a cheery, helpful and informative guide and well prepared with backpack, lunches and tea / coffee. Although the weather was cloudy with light showers all day and did not get much of a view of beaches, can recommend if you can time the walk with good weather.

Terrific Walk Through Freycinet National Park! We went to Devil's Corner winery just before going to the Freycinet National Park during a driving rain in the late afternoon. Excellent view of Oyster Bay and excellent wines to taste. Our room at the lodge was a "cabin". Our cabin was surrounded by woods, quite private, had a fantastic view of the bay from a deck, a jacuzzi, and was quite comfortable. After check-in we had had dinner in the lodge (excellent food!). The next morning James met us at the lodge before our walk to explain that with high winds and waves expected, the 15-20 minute water taxi ride at the end had to be canceled. The high winds and rain had continued, but daytime temperatures in the 50-60s. Given that cancelation of part of the planned experience, James gave us every option, from cancel + significant refund to partial walk to full length (5.5 hours) but abbreviated course to full walk + back to where we parked our care a few minutes drive from lodge without the water taxi adding about 2 hours to the tour with no additional charge! He warned us that if we took this last option we were coming at the end of a lot of rain and there would be mud. We asked if there would be slippery climbing or difficult trail and James replied no, just mud. We took the last option and thoroughly enjoyed the additional walk along the cliffs. We had rain resistant gear, but James loaned us a thin outer shell (coat) that kept us dry and offered us two backpacks to hold our water and other items we wanted to bring. The entire trail is clearly visible, well manicured, with no steep precipices, but it was a bit muddy. We had waterproof, below ankle, hiking shoes. We saw lots of plants and animals on our trip. It is a pristine environment. James was familiar with all of them and also provided us with a wealth of history of the park and Tasmania during our walk. The trail had some mud but most of it was a hard rock surface with many paved portions maintained by the park. There were no portions that we found to be challenging. Indeed most was nearly level. We had no water or mud inside our shoes at the end. As others have noted, James brought us coffee, tea, ample snacks, and a very nice lunch. The path lets you see two additional huge Bays and pristine beaches (Hazard and Wineglass bays) that cannot be seen from the lodge. In sum, the walk gives you an excellent perspective on this wonderful park. The rain wasn't too bad during our walk, it came and went. Of course it was beautiful, sunny and calm, just as we left allowing a nice moment in the ocean at scenic Reynolds Beach, which is next to the lodge on Oyster Bay. We were virtually alone on every beach we visited and did not see many other folks on the trail or at the lookouts.

Fantastic experience. Highly recommended. Despite the weather, we had a tremendous time walking upto wineglass bay. Corey is fantastic and knowledgeable. Would have been very difficult to reach the bay without his help. A must do if one plans to visit Freycinet national park.

Amazing hike in Frencyinet national park! This was a great half day hike with our friendly, knowledgeable local guide. The walk was challenging enough to make you feel like you’d done some good exercise but there were also some nice stops along the way, where we could chill out and have a cuppa and snacks on the beautiful beach. The colour of the sand and water is incredible - so much beauty to take in. Corey, our guide, was outstanding with his knowledge of the natural environment and the interesting history of the place. He also made sure we were all safe and comfortable. I had an awesome time!

Fantastic walk and boat trip between beaches with amazing scenery throughout Absolutely fantastic day out . We were lucky with the weather and had amazing views and experiences of two beautiful beaches . We swam and picnicked and walked from what seemed like one view point to another and with the boat ride one way was a perfect trip . Our guide Ali was amazing and imparted so much local knowledge about the history and geography of the area She was enthusiastic and passionate about the area a true credit to the company .

A Walk to Remember The three of us went on the last guided hike of the winter season with Corey. Everything was perfect - from the weather (it was very cold the previous week and wet the past couple of days), to the prep (we were given rucksacks with all necessary gear and a good packed lunch), to the hike itself (Corey was very knowledgeable and was game enough to jump into the ocean for a quick swim with one of us).

This hike is one of the best ways to appreciate the wild, rugged beauty of this part of Tasmania.

Fantastic Hike & Well Organised What a great day with our guide Corey, we must admit weather was on our side for our hike, highly recommended to do during your stay at the Freycinet Bay National Park. Definitely recommend wearing proper hiking boots as it can be a bit muddy on the trek between Wineglass Bay and Hazards Beach, but I guess you could always pressure wash your runners at the end. Plenty of snacks, water and lunch provided for the day and the boat back to Coles Bay is a nice way to relax on your journey back. Thanks again to the team for running these walking tours, it was very humbling to be able to explore and learn from Corey about this beautiful part of the world.

Great way to see our national park and wineglass bay . Great day out we went out in pouring rain and blowing a gale but from the beach landing onwards the weather gradually improved . Our guide Corey was very patient and knowledgable and provided the packs and wet weather gear we needed . The trek was physically demanding but plenty of rest stops . Very enjoyable day had by all !

Walking into Paradise OMG what a fantastic time my daughter & I had 2 weeks ago on this fabulous walking tour . Corey our guide was amazing . It was a complete nature lesson . He was a remarkable young man. It was a beautiful sunny day & Wine Glass Bay was like a sparkling sapphire . Corey supplied us with a backpack ,water ,nibbles fruit & lunch . We sat on Wine Glass beach & had a mocha & a cookie .We then walked along the Isthmus To Hazard Bay where we had lunch & were picked up in a boat . On the way back we encountered a frolicking pack of seals . Sarah was amazing from the start as this was our 3rd attempt to visit Freycinet due to Covid. Great job guys . xxx
