A beautiful location on a hill overlooking multiple vineyards Clover Hill offers a very rare opportunity to experience the mastery of the sparkling wine craft.
The recently released range enabling you to explore both varietal differences and winemaking styles hosted by a professional and knowledgeable team, something the French would never offer.
It will give you a whole new appreciation and love for high quality great value Tasmanian sparkling wine.
Word of warning, you will want to leave with a bottle or 2
Thank you to Ian and his team for a wonderful visit.

The flavours and textures where a real highlight. Unbelievable she produced a 4 course meal by herself for 16 of us!
Thank you Chef!

The dive is typically Tasmanian with some of the best places at the end of a dirt road. We parked in the shade under a great tree and walked in to be greeted by friendly and knowledgeable staff.
I had the sparkling rosé and soaked in the view as I sipped the beautiful flavour of the wine. So worth the drive.
Speaking of driving. Per download the maps to your device as reception if limited in the area. Signage is good but best to be prepared.

Purchased 2 bottles of this superb sparkling wine

Hmmm was informed not possible and the chef cannot manage - scary that he can't prepare platters that don't involve cooking. Seriously cannot manage an advance booking with time to plan . (I did offer to advise and assist - I know naughty me, but was frustrated when I tried to get them to take our booking)
Obviously they are making money hand over in July that they didn't want us - your loss as we visited some other stunning venues with superb wine and and yeah some lovely cheese platters

When leaving we were given the tasting at no cost. Considering the time, fuel and bad experience that did not make us feel better about now having to replan our day.
I will say thank you to Clover Hill as we found some great small non commercial vineyards that gave us an amazing experience. We have so many bottles of great wine now and contacts we will never buy Clover Hill again.
Do yourself a favour and support the smaller wineries as they treat you well. Their wines are better as they put heart into the making. I guess that Clover Hill forgot that locals kept wineries going in Tasmania during covid.
