One of the best experiences I’ve had in Tassie. 40-minute private helicopter flight from City to Coast, Launceston to Low Head and back through Cataract Gorge. Spectacular views up and down the Tamar River and surrounding regions. Really friendly and diligent pilot, Charles was also a terrific tour guide explaining the sights and landmarks in this beautiful part of Tassie. Highly recommend this ‘unique’ experience to locals and tourists alike 10/10.

Helicopter Trifecta Wine Tour We went on the Trifecta Wine Tour and it was an amazing day. Lucky enough to have great weather we were able to take some incredible pictures of the wineries, country side, the Bass Strait and the Cataract Gorge. Out pilot Charles made us feel safe and secure. Would recommend to all.

Launceston to Low Head Tamar Valley sights Special experience for three generations of our family. Vineyards, river stretches, beaches and familiar places. Inspiration for a potential aviator who was pleased to see his favourite fishing spot from the air.

Charles was very calm and it really did feel like a magic carpet ride.

Bucket list win. This was my first time, this was a bucket list experience and it lived up to the hype. Our guide was bubbly and gave us a great tour. It was so fun to see the places we had explored on land and seeing them from above was fascinating. We felt so safe and yet it still was a thrill of adrenaline. I will long that memory away for life.

Excellent We gave the gift to my Dad for his 80th Birthday and my Mum went with him they both absolutely loved it. Dad talked about it for days afterwards to anyone who would listen. Thank you so much for this wonderful experience for them

Amazing experience, still smiling! Great service from booking through to flight. Couldn't stop smiling from take off! My cousin was super nervous but within seconds of the chopper leaving the ground she was hooked with the experience. Ben was so much fun and great guide and pilot. Top experience! Highly recommended. Our expectations were exceeded with the helicopter we received for our charter from Launceston to Barnbougle Golf Course. It was not only a new chopper, but the pilot was great as well.

Exceptional experience from beginning to end Our whole experience was exceptional, Charles and the team were fast to communicate and very accommodating to design a package that would fit our needs. Booking a 30th birthday present trip for my pregnant wife meant that we could not go on the usual wine tour or pub crawl, so the team designed a specific pamper day at Barnbougle lost farm which included a lunch date at the beautiful restaurant and massage at Spa180, which was just amazing! We were looked after very well by our piolet, Ben, nothing was too difficult and the trip in the helicopter was just stunning and such a great experience. Highly recommend!

Amazing experience I used Unique Charters for my partner's 50th birthday experience. I wanted an experience that was special to us as a couple and not some off the shelf experience. Neither of us drink or play golf so a trip to a winery or a golf course was out. As we are both mountaineers, I came up with the idea of seeing 50 Tasmanian Abel's in one day, with the cream if the day flying into cradle mountain and seeing Cradle mountain from the sky. We would then land at Cradle mountain and have a lovely lunch, before taking the most direct route back to Launceston.

From the start, Kaleb was amazing. He helped design a flight path to see the most mountains from the sky and worked with Parks to get all the relevant checks done so we could fly into this world heritage area. It did take months to pull off and wait for the right weather opportunity, but when the day came, it was truly unforgettable. Kaleb spoke to me every few days over the months to help with planning.

I can not speak highly enough of Unique Charters. We had Captain Ben on the day of the flight and he was a truly fantastic pilot, speaking to us of all the little noises and how the helicopter would fly ( I'm a nervous flyer). Ben was excellent.

We have flown with Unique Charters sister business to Swan island and Three Hummock island, and again, they needed to work with us to get the right experience and they too are amazing.

I can't recommend Unique Charters enough. They may be expensive, but the customer service and the quality of experience is like no other. They really work with you to create a unique charter experience.

Wow! You have to do this We were greeted by Jack our pilot at the gate to the heliport outside Peppers Silo. Jack is an outstanding pilot whose commentary throughout the flights was so informative. We visited 3 excellent vineyards during the day and enjoyed excellent wines! This is a must do if you enjoy fine wines.

NE Pub Crawl By Helicopter What a fabulous way to see the scenery while visiting wineries and pubs. Flying from Bridport, over Derby, to a winery near St Helens, then along the north coast to see the Bay of Fires and red-lichen rocks, lunch at the Pub in the Paddock, another pub for another drink and then back.
Jack, our pilot from Unique Charters, was clearly a very experienced pilot and made the trip smooth and every take off and landing seemed effortless. That is skill.
I look forward to a different itinerary next time.

Cannot recommend Unique Charters more highly. We had the perfect day ????. From the planning, contact and suggestions on what would be best for the budget we had, to Jack our fabulous pilot who was polite, so full of knowledge and excited about showing us Tassie from the air, the amazing scenery and destinations, to the wonderful lunch and champagne on a deserted island and topped off with wine tastings at CloverHill! Just loved this experience so much. Great value for money. If you get the chance, just do it. So many packages to choose from.

Most fun day. Ever. How do you improve on a pub crawl through the historic pubs of northeast Tassie?? Do it in a FRICKIN’ CHOPPER!
We spent a day on the Historical Heli Pub Tour and somehow, walking between pubs is just less of a novelty than taking off from the lawn/carpark outside, flying through the air with amazing views, and landing in style at the next establishment!
The staff were fun and welcoming, from the owner Peter who picked us up at our hotel in Launceston, to the pilot Corey who did everything to make sure we had an amazing day.
This was without a doubt one of the best things I’ve ever done - combining a fondness of beer and atmospheric pubs with a helicopter!

My husband and I took the Historical Heli Pub Tour with Unique Charters in Feb 2020, and we had the best time! I would HIGHLY recommend this experience. It was one of the coolest things we've ever done. These guys are a fantastic team, and I will be telling all of my friends visiting Tasmania to book a tour with them. Best helicopter ride My partner Dave and I finished our holiday to Flinders Island in the best possible way a one hour helicopter ride over Flinders with the most impressive pilot Cory, so cool, so fun, what a rush, going straight over the top of Mt Strzelecki was just awesome, we will never forget it.
