This venue is easily accessible by public transport from city and surrounds!
Everyone said the food and drinks were amazing, although I was too distracted to eat! We're looking forward to going back one day for one of their gin masterclasses.
you don't have to be a Gin drinker but it probably helps.
The food is pretty good, great pizzas and the calamari is a must. The charcuterie platters were a bit sparce considering the price.
The atmosphere is great, comfortable seating options to keep everyone happy. But it can get quite noisy when there are a few groups at the same time.
My only criticism is the size of the shots in drinks. The tasting paddle of 3 different gins with matching tonics is great but each shot is only 15ml.
The cocktails are the same. Most other places serve 30ml shots, so it seems that you are only getting half a drink but paying full price.
It is a bit disappointing as every other aspect of the distillery is fine.
That was the consensus of everyone in our group.
Not sure if we will be back :(
They also run a Masterclass where you get to make your own gin! Great stories about the history of gin making, tour their facilities and enjoy a great lunch.
Brett and Deb are gracious hosts and always willing to guide your gin journey.
The class is capped at 10 people, therefore making for an intimate experience. The food provided was absolutely delicious and generous portion sizes; so much so that we couldn't even finish everything. The complimentary gin tasting that accompanied the food platters was fantastic and I loved tasting some of their Gold Medal awarded Gins. I'll definitely be back with friends to enjoy Gin cocktails and soak up the atmosphere. Keep up the fantastic work Deb and Brett. Cheers, Tonya
Highlights:
- Brett and Deb’s passion for what they do really shines (and they have some great stories!)
- Learning about the botanicals and selecting your own personal blend (not nearly as daunting as you’d think!)
- Gin tasting of P&M gins with yummy charcuterie board
- Delicious (and generous) lunch!
- Meeting other lovely people :)
- Super cool venue
Negatives:
- None!
Can’t wait to try my own personal gin creation soon! Thank you!
From the warm smile greeting, the good grazing platter and fresh pizza, then there is the Gin. If you only go for the Gin, just go.
I will be back with more friends.
Much appreciated, Ashley ????
Extensive menu of delicious food to suit all tastes.
Service was excellent, very friendly and competent staff. The food orders were surprisingly fast despite it being busy .
Cheese platters were huge with a lovely variety of cheeses and meats.
Thanks for a fun night, I will definitely be coming back.
Would I come back? Yes, it's cute, and a fun catchup place for friends
Bar staff were unfortunately not very organised and there was a bit of confusion.
But otherwise super friendly and nice grazing foods for our event.
The staff are all friendly and helpful, the snacks to share were all tasty as well!
