A Journey Above Tasmania’s Wild Beauty
Departing from Hobart’s vibrant waterfront at Franklin Wharf, this breathtaking scenic flight takes you south-east to the dramatic Tasman Peninsula, where the Southern Ocean crashes against some of Australia’s tallest and most awe-inspiring sea cliffs. Circle the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Port Arthur Historic Site from the water, taking in its haunting ruins framed by dark forest and rugged coastline.
Then, lift into the skies again for a sweeping aerial journey over the legendary Three Capes—Cape Raoul, Cape Pillar, and Cape Hauy—along with the rugged majesty of Tasman Island. Few ever see this iconic coastline from the air, where sheer sea cliffs and wild ocean vistas unfold in every direction.
Your return to Hobart offers unforgettable views of the city skyline, the River Derwent, and the commanding presence of kunanyi / Mt Wellington—completing a Tasmanian adventure like no other.

Seaplane take offs and landings are smooth and this was no exception. The views were brilliant, you have no idea how craggy the coastline is until you see it from above. We saw Bruny island from land the next day and enjoyed the dual perspective.
Lovely flight, on just our second morning in Hobart - our Tassie holiday has begun!
I highly recommend the flight as it’s great value and very professional.
