Exploring the Queensland valley rail trail by bike. I enjoyed the variety of this guided tour very much, especially in the way it opened up small and quintessentially Australian towns to me. This cycling tour combined time in nature, with many different, but always delicious food experiences. There was always an unhurried feel to the holiday, with suggestions from tour members taken up on every occasion. Damian is a natural for this work. He delivered a relaxed yet organised and safe tour, and managed to keep our diverse group of 6 very satisfied with all that this trip offered. The group was happy and supportive. I recommend taking up the option of an e-bike, as the first couple of days on the rail trail, can be challenging with hills and culverts. 2 of our 6 people managed on hybrids, but I can only say kudos to them! Finishing in Noosa for 2 nights felt like a well earned reward for all our efforts.

Ride your cares away We’ve now done the Beechworth to Harrietville ride with Tour de Vines twice, and honestly, the scenery is absolutely breathtaking. One of the most beautiful ways to experience the Victorian countryside.

This ride is fantastic for beginners through to intermediate riders, with stunning rail trails, charming towns, vineyards, mountains and rivers all along the way.

We did have a few hiccups with accommodation on this trip, however management stepped in quickly and handled everything with genuine care and professionalism. Damien was incredibly generous and helpful, and we really appreciated the way the issues were resolved.

Travelling by bike lets you slow down and properly take in the landscape. It’s such a joyful, memorable experience.

Highly recommend for anyone wanting an active holiday with incredible scenery and a relaxed pace.

Our Beechworth Rail Trial Experience The overall experience was good especially for our first time cycling a distance on rail trails. We started our trip approx 10.30am after a briefing. This did not allow enough time to visit more than the Cheese factory, Henley Wines and Brown Brothers.
Our briefing Guide and Pickup Guide were excellent and gave us all the answers to our questions. I would recommend this tour to our friends.

Great introduction to e-bike touring For us this was a great introduction to e-bike touring. Beautiful countryside to ride through and the group made it a fun social activity. The accommodation, winery visits and meals were all organised seamlessly. Would definitely recommend both this trip and the tour company for their excellent organisation.

Hugely disappointing. Bikes very hard to get used to, old type of ebike, multiple problems in our group of 18 cyclists. Several needed to be exchanged and NOT because of rider incompetence as was suggested. Two guides, one did not seem to be aware that he was a guide, and the other making all the decisions without input from her fellow guide, or from the cyclists. Van supported was limited to moving bags, collecting shopping and picking up cyclists when he could fit it in. I would not use this company again.

Spectacular Trip in NE VIC Great tour. Well organised, great leader, accommodation, food and wine excellent, and fellow guests were hilarious. Laughed all the way from Beechworth to Bright, and we did some cycling in between :). Thank you Anna our guide.

Fabulous cycling tour with great scenery. A very well planned tour with fantastic guide and company. Everything is kept efficient, good trail, good food and good lodging. A special thanks to Kathleen, our guide who has been very caring and responsible, and Evan for taking good care of the bikes and drives safely. We will definitely recommend Tour de Vines and join again in future.

Lovely trip, but inconsistent standards This was a lovely trip and we thoroughly enjoyed all the trails and areas we visited.
However there were a few slight downsides. We have toured with every company in Australia as well as several cycling trips overseas and there were areas that could have been improved. We did not really know where we were going each day as there were no notes/ guidance maps or whatever. Our daily destinations were given by our tour leader who was lovely and helpful beyond expectations, but her explanations became a bit confusing.
Meals were a highlight as expected for a gourmet trip, but the sizes were excessive and unnecessary. Wine tastings were much appreciated, and the tour of Wirra Wirra was great. The accommodations were exceptional, but the standard of the bus was below this.
All in all a great trip, but I would think twice before doing another Tour de Vines trip.

One of ten 😎 Recently completed the tour in Tasmania, from Launceston to Hobart with a small group of 10, a guide and driver. From day 1, the experiences bonded the diverse group together and added to the enjoyment of the tour. The knowledge of the guide and driver allowed everyone to feel safe and looked after. Accommodation was superb and soooo welcome at the end of each day of the tour. The choice of venues for meals added to the diverse appreciation of the geography of the island.

Tour de Beechworth to Bright - Easter 2026 Great tour, very well organized. Accommodation, lunch stops, breakfasts and dinners were of the highest order. Great cycling, very user friendly. Milawa Cheese shop and Pepo Farms Pumpkin Seed Factory are brilliant. Full marks Damian and Bernard, great team effort. Keep hunting Damian and you will find another Olive Shop.

Highly recommend Well organised and soo enjoyable. Highly recommend. Bike paths are well maintained and very scenic.

Great Bike Riding experience Fully supported in every way! Great ride 2 short days 2 long days. Riding the rail trails in Southern Victoria, beautiful scenery, and wide trails, some hills and long flat stretches.
The crew were amazing, catering to the group requirements and the individual rider.

Absolutely superb - just do it & see for yourself This is the second bike ride I have done with Tour de Vines. The first one was Beechwortg to Bright with my only negative comment was it should have gone longer. It was such an awesome bike ride, I signed up for the Great Southern rail trail and I had the time of my life. The group were great, the accommodation outstanding and the choice of restaurants superb. The only thing I would say if you are coeliac like me, there are very few brekky options. The bus driver Evan & the Tour leader is Kathleen couldn't have been any more helpful, both are delightful people. I plan to do more Tour de Vine bike rides. Oh and the bike ride was out of this world!

An awesome two ride with great food and drinks Thoroughly enjoyed the ride, all of road on well maintained tarmac paths. Easy riding even for an old bloke like me!
Bernard did a wonderful job of looking after us and keeping track of the bushfires in the state at the time so we had no need to worry.
The wine tasting at Pennyweight winery just two clicks into the first day of the ride set the pace for the rest of the trip!

Fabulous from start to finish ! The organisation of this trip from start to finish has been brilliant. We loved that we did not have to organise anything and could simply enjoy the breathtaking scenery ! The wineries chosen were top notch as were the breakfast venues. A special mention to Bernard who so generously shared his knowledge of the region when he met us on Day 1 and also at the end. We are looking forward to another cycle adventure.

Tour De Vines We really enjoyed the three day Murray to Mountains Rail Trail organised by Tour De Vines. The last leg was the most enjoyable being off-road with beautiful scenery.
We paid extra for an upgrade to luxury accommodation. This wasn’t really worth it, as the last night we stayed in very average and tired accommodation in Bright.

Needs to be better organized My husband and I booked a self guided bike tour with another couple in Nov. I enjoyed the bike route past farms and rolling hills. It was spring and very green, although the rather cool temperatures took us by surprise. The bikes were adequate for a paved flat trail with low daily mileage. We requested upgraded accommodation which wasn’t clearly defined in the itinerary causing confusion regarding locations and access. The food at the suggested restaurants were all very good. We did take exception with one brew pub that outlined that pizza was included with the tour. Roast lamb dinner was the special of the day and priced less than the pizza. We all opted for the Lamb expecting the restaurant to swap out the dinner choice. They didn’t, so we paid for our meals and requested a credit back from Tour de Vines. It was not to be .no substitute, only pizza. I feel this is a missed opportunity for good customer service and building relationships with clients regarding a $100 credit. Considering the cost of this tour I don’t feel we received organized good service and value. Liz and Bernard the shuttle drivers were great.

What a brilliant way to spend a week on a bike! From Hiroshima then island hopping and finishing with the Shimanami Kaido (a ride that should be on everyone's bucket list). If you want to immerse yourself in traditional Japanese culture, fine food, breathtaking scenery and gain an appreciation of the people , this is the tour to book. Just make sure you select the e-bike option unless very bike fit! Thank you Damien and our local guide Kota for a week to remember.

Tour de Hiroshima & Shimanani Kaido was a wonderful way to experience parts of Japan that most tourists don't get to see. The itinerary provided a great mix of cycling, scenery, history and culture. The accomodations and foods were amazing and our local guide Kota was a fabulous travelling companion.

Weekend Getaways! 3rd Time touring with Tour De Vines and each experience only gets better. Charles our tour guide was very insightful and had some wonderful stories to share of the region. Easy ride with e-bikes which made the trip so much more enjoyable as the body ages.
Each of the wineries and eateries we stopped at were delicious. Definitely recommend doing this trip with a group of friends or riding solo, you will never be alone.

A gourmet experience cycling with Tour De Vines along the very picturesque Great Southern Rail Trail I've just completed (from the 6/11/25 to 9/11/25) the Great Southern Rail Trail. It was a fantastic trip and I would rate it 5 stars for all aspects of the tour. This is my second trip with Tour De Vines and once again they have fully lived up to their description of their tours as 'Gourmet'. Wonderful accommodation and 5 stars for the suites on night 2 and 3. A real highlight in the food department was our included 7 course dinner on night 2 at Moos in Meeniyan. Great cycling on a well maintained and very manageable rail trail through continuous undulating green hills either side of the trail. Also at times we had some excellent views over Wilson Prom and snatches of Phillip Island. Our guides David and Russell were fantastic. They guided us on a wonderful trip and nothing was a problem for them, 5 stars to both our guides and looking forward to doing some more tours in the future with you both as the guides.

Fabulous cycling tour - The Great Southern Rail Trail with Tour de Vines We wholeheartedly recommend this guided cycling tour. Our two leaders were professional, friendly, fun and committed to ensuring our group was kept safe, comfortable and well supported. Venues for food were fabulous (Mahob at Moos in Meeniyan was a standout) and accommodation quirky, clean and quiet. David (our guide) and Russel (our driver) were very knowledgeable of the area. They provided great tips on cycling and even when the weather turned bad, provided excellent options in lieu of cycling.

M2M Rail Trail, great food,wine,accommodation & scenery! We recently did the M2M Rail Trail from Beechworth to Bright. We did self guided, so could plan our day as we wanted. All our meals and accommodation were arranged which was great, and we never went hungry! A huge ' Thank You' to Liz for always being there to help us when needed, and also to Bernard for our dinner delivery and very nice bottle of wine, to finish of an amazing day riding! We would thoroughly recommend doing this beautiful ride through NE Victoria, whilst enjoying the local wineries along the way.

Cycling the Danube in early autumn Another superb cycling holiday with Tour de Vines. This time from Vienna to Budapest along the Danube. Superb guides (Igor and Astrid) ; excellent hotels and food ; great group ; wonderful scenery through the heart of Europe. We departed Vienna on 31st August and arrived Budapest on 6th September. Simply wonderful.

A week worth doing We have just had the most amazing week of our lives. We joined an Island Hopping tour in Split then rode on six islands in the Adriatic Sea- great food, great rides, great mob to be with, really excellent guides Marko and Bubi, and a great ship and her crew- the MV Magellan

An inspirational challenge Brisbane Valley rail trail Thankgod for Liz who coached me in the initial creek crossings until I gained the confidence to actually enjoy the challenge. The daily rides were much more difficult than I anticipated from the advertised description with very rough rocky gravelly and culverted crossings
I mastered the gear and power combo and really enjoyed belting down the longer and smoother sections

Do yourself a favour and go on this tour I had the absolute best weekend ever - the tour was well run - the food - amazing - the places we stopped and stayed - our tour guide Liz was absolutely amazing - the group was fantastic and we had the best time ever!! We wished we could go on for a few more days, it was that good - the transport back to Beechworth with Annette was excellent and so was Annette - I absolutely loved it and will recommend this tour to everyone I see.

Great cycling trip This is a fantastic cycling trip. We were independent but the support provided both prior to and during the trip was first class. The winery lunches were excellent as were our accommodations. Highly recoomended

A fun trip with a small group that was a great way to spend 4 days away. This was my second tour with TDV and the Great Victorian Rail Trail. From arriving at the pre arranged start point in Mansfield, our tour guides Liz and our driver Russel were very welcoming and energetic. Taking care of all of us as we arrived to ensure my bike that I hired was suitable and ready to go.

Each day we rode between 20 -60km, with rest stops in between to ensure we were comfortable. And rested enough to carry on.

The bike riding was at a relaxed pace, as with any bike riding tour you might get a mix of the serious cyclist types as well as the more casual rider who only rides their bike around the park or the beach every second weekend.

I hadn’t ridden a bike in about 8 weeks due to extreme weather where I live, but I was easily able to get back into it.

At no time during the riding, was I ever felt pressured to ride as fast as the faster guys, and my tour guide Liz was happy that I was hopping to slow down a bit more, on my second GVRT tour and admire the artwork and scenery along the way, as it really is wonderful.

The accomodation was comfortable and I felt well rested every morning, ready to go. Our meals were held at quality venues, and I have no complaints about any of theplaces we visited. Several had changed since my last trip, which was a bonus because I got to experience more from each town we visited on our journey.

I will definitely be looking forward to doing another tour with TDV in the future.

2 night self guided Murray to Mountain Bike tour from Beechworth The two day self guided tour was a fantastic gift. Liz and Annette could not have been more helpful and very responsive to contact. The rail trail is a beautiful ride. we took our own hybrid bikes, but others used the e bikes supplied by Tour de Vines. The food and wine tasting stops were delicious as were our breakfasts. Living in the region, it was a fabulous opportunity to explore our own area in a different way. Will definitely reccommend.

Really a food and wine cycling tour The trail is amazing and we passed through some gorgeous Victorian countryside. Our expert guide Damian managed our very strong personalities, kept us cycling together and took us to some wonderful wineries and beautiful food.

Beechworth to Harrietville self guided tour We had an amazing self guided cycling trip. We cycled from Beechworth to Harrietville. Everything was fantastic the e-bikes were excellent, arranged accommodation clean and located close to everything we needed, pre booked restaurants, food was delicious with great options. Not value for money Not worth the cost of the tour. Few inclusions were missing from our tour. ‘Guided instructions’ included a map available for download from VIC tourism website - suggest to plan your own tour instead and rent bikes from one of the local businesses in town

great experience Great experience , we enjoyed every moment . Accommodation selections were very good Amy's Cottage, Rising Sun Hotel and Clare Country Club all good .
We took e-bikes which suited us , Kent from Bike supplier was very helpful and got us away easily , he arrived on time and gave us plenty of tips.
Winery stops were all good . Great meals at both Skillagalee and O'Leary Walker . Plenty of additional stops from those suggested if you want to move off the trail. Trail ride itself was very accessible and no real gradient difficulties for us . Will do again in other locations in the future . Tour staff very helpful in the lead in and all arrangements were in place for a seemless trail ride . Thanks.

Great Victorian Rail Trail from Mansfield to Tallarook - what a beauty! We did the Great Victorian Rail Trail from Mansfield to Tallarook, with ebikes supplied by Tour de Vines. They organised accommodation along the way, at Bonnie Doon, Alexandra, and Yea, and took us back to Mansfield at the end of the trip. Everything was wonderful, such beautiful scenery in country Victoria. Being a rail trail, we didn't need the ebike motor much, but got a great kick of power for the few occasions when we did! Bernard was a great host, and kept in touch throughout the trip, and even met up with us on the last day when we had a few technical issues. Thanks, Tour de Vines!!

Perfect trip through beautiful country! Fantastic trip well organised by Damian and crew, made us feel like family! Lovely scenery at a very friendly pace (with E-bikes if desired too!) made for a very relaxing trip. Very knowledgeable local guide (Charlie) pointing out the many wine and foodie stops! Divine Tour De Vine Had a great trip on the tour de bright cycling trip. We did the 3 night option which was a nice relaxed pace. The accomodation was spacious and comfortable. The service and self guided instruction was clear. We rented the ebikes and all of the gear was clean and in really good condition. Would tour again!

Wonderful family experience! We had an amazing few days on tour and what a great experience to share as a family. Tour de Vines is professional and went out of their way to accommodate our requests. Michael drove to the airport twice to collect the members of our party on 2 different days and made sure we were able to connect with one another. He was super helpful throughout the trip and we could not have asked for a nicer guide. We chose to cycle on normal bikes and the cycling was very manageable. The first day is longer and slightly more challenging with one uphill towards the end of the day. The accomodation and food along the way was perfect for our needs. We cant wait to do another cycle trip with tour de vines!

Tassie Tour Cyclists We were treated exceptionally well by our tour leader and driver. Our accommodation and meals were superb.
Perhaps 3 full meals a daynot required. Lunch could be picnic type with sandwiches, fruit, etc on board enabling a stop anywhere on the trail.

Good cycle bad organisation The Great Victoria Railway Trail is a lovely cycle route. However, the organisation of the tour was very amateurish and detracted from the experience.

The information about public transport was incorrect and expensive to rectify. We were booked into hotels for a gourmet tour but the restaurants in the hotels on two of the three nights were closed. We were given no warning prior to the start. We found alternatives for food but it was of low quality. The promised celebratory lunch on the final day was unavailable.
We are very experienced cycle tours and have been on multiple tours over the last 15 years all around the world. I've never felt the need to complain about a cycle to a company before.

The company asked for feedback at the end of the holiday and I provided this in a polite email. They haven't even bothered to reply.
In summary a great cycle, but avoid this company. They don't deserve your custom.

Tour De Tasmania Well orgainised cycle tour, seeing the best of Tasmania East Coast. Fantastic and varied accommodation with the highlight being the Freycinet Lodge. Our tour leaders was very professional knowledgeable and helpful.
Cycling highlights were the Scottsdale Rail Trail and the ride from Coles Bay to Triabunna with a few suprises.
Our group were all around the age (seventies) and an amazing time was had by all.

A very enjoyable experience Tour de Vines organised a great trip for our group.
The meet, greet and instructions were very good.
The bikes were great, the two winery lunch stops were excellent.
The scenery was lovely.
The motels were ok but the one in Myrtleford was not well located.
After a long, hot day of cycling we didn't feel like walking 20 minutes into town for a meal!
Overall, I would recommend this tour.

Great Victorian Rail Trail Self Guided We loved this trip. The weather was kind to us and Tour de Vines provided all the information we needed to cycle and enjoy the sights and food on this delightful trip. The support we received was exceptional. This is our second trip with the company and we will travel with them again.

Pity the schedule changed so much from what we signed up for. When we signed up and paid for this experience, we had several emails to confirm what would be included in this tour. I understand things can change and the change of lunch venue was fine but to not have all the winerys included was very disapointing. We emailed several times when we got the final ininery and are still waiting on a reply, the staff on the day of the tour said they could do nothing, but said we could pay for the wine tasting and get reimbursed later (still waiting on the reimbursement) I guess when they have your money you are no longer important!
the bikes were good, and the tour we did do with the inclusings were great.

Adelaide Hills - gourmet food and wine tour We recently did the 4-day Adelaide Hills bike tour with tour de vines including the Barossa, Clare Valley and McClaren Vale. Every aspect of the tour was amazing: Dave our guide was not only super enthusiastic, but being local had a very detailed knowledge of the whole area. He was very accommodating and went out of his way to make this tour magic for us.
Accomdation: We couldn't fault the accommodations, especially Adelaide (a very centrally located hotel with great breakfast and dinner options), the Novotel in the Barossa and Clare Valley Country Club were we had king size rooms with a beautiful outlook and again very good breakfasts.
Highlights of the tour for myself are hard to list as there were so many. But the lunches at, Skillogalee's, O'Leary's and Wirra Wirra and The Cube at D'Ahrenberg (this one is a definite must and you need time as there is so much to take in) and the beautiful scenery riding along the various trails. The wineries we visited were well chosen not only for their beautiful wines but also their either historical value or beauty (or both). The two nights not included in the tour package, Dave suggested beautiful restaurants which didn't disappoint: the venues were incredible in ambience, food and service.
The riding was easy, especially on e-bikes and very enjoyable, although it was very windy and pretty cold for us Queenslanders!!
We highly recommend this tour especially if you are a food and wine lover!

Excellent Gourmet bike riding from Beechworth to Harrietville, Victoria with Tour de Vines I have done many trips with Tour de Vines with a few of them in New Zealand and this was the second time touring from Beechworth but this time with my husband. We chose the gourmet self guided option over 5 nights and 4 days of riding as we extended our trip to ride a return trip from Bright to Harrietville which I can highly recommend as. It is a beautiful ride along yhe beginnings of the Ovens River for most of the way.
The operative word for this trip was GOURMET with magnificent locations, excellent service and food to sample but a couple of places were particularly spectacular. San Miranda King Valley winery is the lunch stop for the first day and is just outside of Milawa and we couldn’t believe the magnificent platter with delicious calamari and other treats on a platter which we thought was destined for the table of six next to us to share.
Lancemore’s Merlot Restaurant at our accommodation in Milawa was great too.
Myrtleford for our third night is a beautiful country town and I once again went to Red Rama which has a couple of warehouses in the Main Street with an eclectic mix of garden and house decor items from China, Japan, Morocco and India. I recalled it as a highlight of the trip from the last time and it did not disappoint. I mentioned it to others on the ride and they were very excited to see it. (Unfortunately Red Rama is not mentioned in the tour notes).
It is worth noting that quite a number of businesses were not open as some of them are seasonal and I suspect some of them may also be closed down.
I would recommend that Tour de Vines update their guide material to reflect the current state of business availability to assist riders and also include reference to Red Rama, Myrtleford as it is an amazing attraction.
Another tip for riders is to ensure you take full wet weather gear as it can be very cold and wet! We could have sold our wet weather trousers for a good profit to two other intrepid riders with very blue, wet legs sheltering on top of Taylor’s Gap.
Tour de Vines staff are always amazing and many thanks to Annette and Michael for their friendly guidance as it helped it all to run smoothly for us. Also much appreciation to Damian and his staff and we will soon be planning another adventure with you.

Fantastic Tour de South Australian wine valleys What a great way to tour the Barossa, Clare, and McLaren Vale vineyards.
The guide, Dave, was outstanding with so much local knoledge and passion for the region. As we were a small group, we were able to visit places that exceeded our expectations, as we had time on our side.
The bikes were excellent and made cycling so easy. This is a tour I would do again.

A great bike ride A great bike ride over 3 1/2 days, Vines organized accommodation and transported luggage.
The scenery was spectacular and just the right amount of riding.
The towns we stayed in were very good and the accommodation perfect.

A long weekend from Beechworth to Myrtleford, was 'mapped out' and planned: Accommodation, restaurants for breakfast lunch and dinner. Just turn up. We loved it!

Michael got us on the road with our bikes, I took an electric assisted bike, my 3 buddies took regular bikes.

We visited a couple of wineries and stores along the way. Easy to follow
Maps and instructions were provided and the bikes has great sized panniers for storage.

The team moves your luggage for you to your next accommodation and collects your purchase along the way.

The path itself is spectacular, just a wonderful opportunity to experience this gorgeous part of country Victoria!

My tips are...... purchase a gel seat! It's worth every cent! And add a few branches to your helmet ???? to keep the birds ???? away.

We arrived in mid winter so it was apparent that we wouldnt be seeing a lot of other tourers on cycles (more room on the track for us) anyway we had a great time the weather was cool but refreshing , the accommodation was fantastic and the meals for breakfast terrific and tasty.
Must give paul from great southern ride cycle hire a big rap for the supply and delivery/pick up service of our 2 excellent ebikes.
The leongatha to port welshpool ride is wonderful i would opt for a longer trip next time but the scenery and sights are terrific. The only negative was the constant aroma of cow dung (guess were in dairy country) and port welshpool has a unsettling vibe about it.

Tour de Queensland Rail Trails 13th June 2023 Hi, I wanted to leave a review of our recent Tour de Vines Queensland Rail Trails holiday which we undertook starting 13th June 2023. A nine day trip, supposedly covering the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail (BVRT) in its entirety, the Kilkivan to Kingaroy Rail Trail and finally Sunshine Coast trails around Noosa.

Overall, whilst we enjoyed the trip; the company of fellow Travellers; and the guides, I have to say that the brochure description, final itinerary issued just prior to commencing the cycling holiday and actual equipment supplied was somewhat inaccurate and inadequate.

The route was described as being on the easy side. However, the terrain was probably more intermediate (especially the BVRT), possibly due to the time of year and the bikes provided did not suit the terrain at all. The brochure stated Trek (or similar) hardtail MTBs with an option to upgrade to a Trek E-Bike. However, the bike fleet listed for use by Tour de Vines on their website depicted urban (in my opinion bikes for going to the park or local shops) and hybrid bikes. Which turned out to be exactly the types of bike that were supplied for the trip and proved to be completely unsuitable for the tracks cycled (the Treks not even having front suspension) with all bikes having thinner urban tyres not suitable for the loose gravel and metal tracks.

If you decide to undertake this tour, please ensure that Tour de Vines commit to providing adequate hardtail MTBs with at least full range front suspension to enable the full end to end trails to be completed.

As it was, the trip ended up skipping a number of sections of the rail trails and road sections.

Also with regard to the published itinerary, it was suggested there would be regular stops for drinks and snacks, these ended up being missed as the focus ended up being on longer breakfasts and then a dash to complete the cycle section around lunchtime before finishing for the day. More focus on regular stops for breaks and refreshment and extending the cycling through the day would have been preferable. The trails themselves and the countryside was very scenic, its a shame it was all let down by inadequate bikes, which I believe led to sections of the trails being skipped.

Summary - a nice biking holiday that could have been excellent. I suspect the bikes and general company focus is more towards vineyard cycling and cellar door to cellar door rather than the longest rail trail in Australia on the fringes of outback Queensland.

Just dad and me!!! My dad and I had a brilliant two days pedaling ( with the added boost of the electric bikes we hired!!) All our organised meals were brilliant with the Vietnamese restaurant in Myrtleford incredible.
Communication with Annette and Bernard was fabulous. Accommodations were very comfortable and the hot shower on Saturday very very welcome!
Reefer Ridge Winery was a delight and seeing so many families out and about on the trail was wonderful????

Wonderful self guided cycling tour with Tour De Vines Thank you Tour De Vines. Annette our tour guide was fantastic. She contacted us the night before to organise and confirm time and place to meet for the start of the tour and answered my question about where we can park. On the day of our tour both my husband and I alarms failed to wake us and because Annette had contacted us the night before I was able to text her and explain our predicament. She was so lovely and understanding and replied that we could start the tour later. When we arrived She met us with the bikes and then we got our choice of hot beverage while she sat us down and explained the route we were to follow. She was very careful to explain and describe the route and the stops we could make on the way. We were very glad to get the e bikes as I don't think we would have made it otherwise! The mini cheese tasting at Milewa Cheese was enjoyable and we especially liked lunch at The Providore where the service was very warm and friendly and it was so lovely to sit in comfortable arm chairs in front of a roaring fire at the end of a long ride. My husband was so tired he had a little nap in front of the fire!

Fantastic ride A great few days riding the Great Victorian Rail track. The ride, bikes, accommodation and support was wonderful and the weather at this time of year not to cold especially as didn’t have to make early starts. Bernard was very informative regarding places to stop, eat along the way We very much enjoyed our few days. We did our ride starting Monday which means a lot of the restaurants where not open (most open from Thursday) but no crowds. Love to do mare rides with Tour de Vines in the future.
