Love the outdoors? Love Mexican? Have you considered Kayaking and Mexican in one great adventure? Riverlife is excited to announce an exciting new experience, Fiesta de Kayak! Bringing together the ever-popular guided kayak tour at twilight and returning to deliciously prepared Mexican food and a margarita or two.
Friday Night Fiesta De Kayak is a Mexican-themed Twilight Kayak Adventure on the Brisbane River. Departing from Riverlife Adventure Centre, all guests experience a night paddle in front of the city lights and a Mexican-themed dining experience serving Burritos and Margaritas.
Kayaking is a great adventure for everyone! Heading towards the Story Bridge or South Bank, depending on the tide. On our 90min kayaking journey, there are awesome sights and photo spots! You will see the sunset over the bustling skyline and watch the nightlife come to life as the city lights turn on, one by one.
After you return from your adventures, we then settle into waterfront dining at Riverlife for fun fiesta vibes. Here we will serve a traditional Burrito and nachos to share (Vegan options available) as well as a frozen margarita or a corona included in the price of $125.
For this adventure, be ready to start at 6 pm by arriving at the Adventure Centre by 5.45 pm. Just select your adventure and the number of people in your group, the date and we will do the rest!!

Lockers, waterproof camera cases (available to rent) and toilets were available to use.
Raj, our instructor, was great. The briefing prior to kayaking told us all we needed to know to get on the water. It was a beautiful evening despite the wind and current, with Raj guiding us safely on the journey.
Would definitely do this again, hopefully with less wind next time.
I would definitely recommend.
He was accommodating to our different skill levels and we were fortunate to have perfect weather
We had an amazing kayaking experience with Georgia! She shared so many fascinating insights about Brisbane along the way, making the tour both fun and informative. Her instructions were clear and easy to follow, and we felt completely safe the entire time. Highly recommend!
Daniel was a great instructor, with his rugged good looks and amazing life experience 10/10 would recommend
Would be fine if groups were smaller (5max) or there were more ropes and instructors.
Thanks Will.
Our tide time adventure was around past the The Story Bridge and back to Riverlife. The bridge structure was epic to see from water level looking up. Thoroughly enjoyed the paddle on the Brisbane River. Post paddle beverage was good too. Thanks Alex for a great adventure!
Also tried the abseiling and it was such a thrill! Perfect for anyone looking for something exciting!
FYI- I thought it would be easier to go around the town on the bikes, but with construction and lots of traffic (both people and cars) we ended up sticking to the bike path.
I recommend it to everyone!! Cheers
Highly recommend!
