We enjoyed the short 20-min ($89) 'holiday special' with our pilot Peter and were lucky to have the whole plane to ourselves. The route included spectacular views over the coastline full of beaches, windfarm, and also over the two main lakes. Do be aware that the "Pink" lake has NOT been pink in years. It's the WHITE one in the photo. We were glad to receive the tip to check out Fly Esperance from the Tourist Information hut in town, when we were comparing duration of flight and price-point with the helicopter option.

Amazing tour. Our Pilot Peter was super nice, helpful and gave a great commentary. He saw a pod of dolphins and he circled back so we could see them. Although some of the lakes were dried it was still an awesome tour. The coast from the sky is spectacular. Highly recommend!

We did a ground 4wd Tour and our guide was Brett. He was amazing and provided a magical morning out for my elderly parents.

Brett picked us up from our accommodation in a very spacious, clean and comfortable Range Rover.

Brett took us an on adventure of a lifetime while driving along the pristine sands of Esperance as he navigated his way along the beach and over some amazing sand dunes en route to Cape Le Grand National Park. Brett was safety minded and stopped to assess the conditions before tackling some of the more tricky portions of the drive. We stopped regularly for breaks and photo opportunities. Brett displayed some of the parks most pristine and well sort after locations such as Hell Fire Bay and provided a fantastic morning tea on Lucky Bay.

The highlight of the trip, was driving up a Massive rock formation at Wylie Bay. Wow! What an experience. Made my parents day and trip.

Do yourself a favour and book one of these tours! They are great value for money and provide other options such as air tours as well. No better way to experience what Esperance has to offer.

Very prompt reply by the owner, and the Pilot Peter was one of the best. He gave full flight commentary around the region and had very good knowledge of the surroundings. On top, he loves his job.

We chose Fly Esperance for the 4x4 beach trek across the coast to take in Hellfire Bay and Lucky Bay.

This was an incredible tour that went for about 4 hours, and no part was boring at all. Peter was our guide and driver and was a great host, providing us local knowledge and information along the way, which helped make our trek so great.

We had several stops to take in the scenery and had a wonderful pre-prepared morning tea at Lucky Bay. They supplied hot tea, coffee, soft drink, water, and hot chocolate. Plus a lovely selection of sweets from Bistro Louis in town. Donuts, brownies, and cheesecake really hit the spot.

On the way back, we were able to do a breathtaking climb up a tall rock face, which seemed like about 70 degrees and at least 70 metres tall. For a first time four wheel driving for us, it was quite an amazing and unexpected surprise.

If we were staying longer, we would end up doing one of the other tours as well.

Highly recommended and a must-do activity with Fly Esperance if you visit here.

What a wonderful experience! Easy and fast booking, efficient pick-up at our campground, and absolutely brilliant 80 minute flight over the coastline and the "pink" lakes. Peter, our pilot, is a brilliant guide with lots of interesting things to say about the area; he is also a "smooth rider" which makes for a comfortable ride! We had a blast!! Thanks team Fly Esperance for such a remarkable moment. We will be back!!

Myself and a friend recently did the land, sea and air package over 3 days. What a fantastic way to see all that Esperance has to offer. We did the flight on my birthday with pilot Pete which made my day really special. Geoff was a fantastic guide for our 4WD adventure and I don’t want to spoil the surprise but let’s say there is an omg moment on this trip which will even blow away 4WD enthusiasts ( I would say this is weather permitting)

Fantastic service, the day started with getting picked up from my house and driven to the Cape Le Grand National Park along the beach. At the National Park we had a lovely morning tea along Lucky Bay, looking at the white sand and bright blue water.

The day continued with more beach driving back into town and to the airport for a scenic flight over the rainbow lakes, although it was a bit bumpy (must bring motion sickness tablets next time) the views were amazing. Seeing Esperance by sky is a completely different experience that every local should experience.

After landing we had a lovely lunch at the Condingup Tavern and flew back to town via the ocean.

Stunning rainbow lakes not to be missed Big thanks to Ben and Peter who took us flying today over the amazing rainbow coloured lakes near Esperance. We did the fly lunch fly tour. This is an experience like no other. We were amazed at the multicoloured lakes. Even a fluoro yellow one. The photos don’t do it justice as the colours change even as your fly around them with the sun hitting from different angles. Just stunning! As was the beautiful coastline. We enjoyed lunch at the Condingup Tavern. A fabulous day out. Highly recommend.

What a great experience. We took the 80 minute flight and it was spectacular. Our pilot Ben was professional, friendly and really knowledgeable which added to the experience. The shuttle service is a big plus.

Our Cape Le Grand and Pink Lakes flight was fantastic. We were picked up from our accomodation in Esperance and taken to the airport by our pilot, Ben. He was very friendly and informative during the drive and on the flight. He was also an excellent pilot.
The coastal scenery from Twilight Beach all the way to Cape Le Grand National Park was amazing and then the return inland flight over the rainbow/pink lakes was breathtaking.
We would highly recommend this flight as great value and a must do.

Had an amazing experience! Ben (our scenic pilot) and Jeff (our 4x4 driver) were both knowledgeable and personable during our experiences with them. Would not hesitate to do these activities for a second time!

Highly devious and unscrupulous. Avoid. The big secret in Esperance is that world famous pink Lake Hillier was ruined by mud and floods and had actually turned brown nearly a year prior to our visit. Even though we specifically asked for and booked an expensive flight to see it, and asked both the owner and pilot about it before the flight, they failed to disclose the status of the lake and as a result, we didn’t fly anywhere near it. We asked the pilot about it during the flight and he said that they hadn’t flown there since the floods last year. Instead we were shown some very ordinary ponds in farmer’s fields that they call “rainbow lakes”. Total waste of time and money. The photo of those ponds they now use in their promotions has had a lot of colour added in post production. Worst deal ever.

Ahhh, Fly Esperance rocks! My wife and I did both a plane and 4WD trip and they are both highly recommended. We had Ben as the guide/pilot for both trips and as an "old hand" he knows all the hidden sights that you have to see. There are plenty of good photos in the reviews of the flight, but here a few from the 4WD tour.

From the initial phone call to being picked up to taking off in the plane and discovering the amazing sights of Esperance from the air. All 5 star, all staff working for this company were outstanding. We would definitely recommend this tour to anybody visiting the area. Guarantee you won’t be disappointed.

ABSOLUTELY STUNNING Did a scenic flight over Cape Le Grand and the Pink Lakes in April. Thanks to Ben for the amazing flight and for being so knowledgeable. He was so friendly and even gave us advise on where to eat etc while in Esperance. This flight was so amazing. Cape Le Grand was absolutely stunning from above and the Pink lakes were unbelievable.

You can't better see a place like Cape Le Grande than from the air. The staff and our pilot were helpful and very pleasant. I really enjoyed the experience of taking off and landing on a gravel strip. The pilot did an excellent job.

Had a fantastic time on the Flying Pub Crawl and Scenic Flight yesterday, March 16th, 2023. Jacob was our pilot and flew us over the beaches, the hills to the east and landed on a dirt runway for the trip to our first pub. Lunch at the Condingup Tavern was wonderful and then we were back in the air for a flight over the pink(ish) lakes. This time of year, most were dry, but we knew that would be the situation. We then landed and Alex took us off to our second pub - Gibson Soak. That too was a great place. More flying time, another landing, and off to our final pub. We came to Esperance just for this once in a lifetime flight and it was well worth the time. I recommend it for everyone.

Not recommended The most uncomfortable flight I have experienced. Despite discussing leg room with the pilot prior to boarding I was provided with insufficient room to face forward when the co- pilot’s seat was slammed back into my already minimal space. My request to move to the spare rear seat was denied when I was informed the aircraft could not cope with my 78kg in the back seat. Sitting sideways with my back to the view was intolerable. My wife was unable to hear the commentary due to faulty headphones. The pilot was often distracted by texting on the phone sitting in his lap. I believe it was unethical not to advise the clients that the promoted viewing of Lake Hillier had not been available for some 9 months
Unless you are very short, don’t need to hear the commentary and don’t mind the the pilot texting whilst flying I do not recommend this company.

Our pilot picked us up on time from our accommodation. She was very knowledgeable and very pleasant to talk to. Our 30min flight over Esperance and Le Grand National Park was amazing. The weather was perfect. We enjoyed her commentary throughout the flight and our questions were all answered. Very pleased with Fly Esperance's tour.

Was really good. My husband and I were gifted a flight from my son and his wife. Being locals it was enjoyable getting a different view of our hometown. I was a little scared when I first saw the plane, smaller than I expected lol

Jacob(?) our pilot was a wealth of knowledge and I enjoyed listening to him tell the other couple about what we were seeing and learning a couple of things as well.

We had the best day weather wise and I got some amazing photos.

We had an amazing experience with Fly Esperance over two days last week - an absolute must do for any trip to Esperance and a highlight of our 2 week holiday in WA. On day 1 we did the 4x4 experience driving all the way down Wylie beach to Cape Le Grand national park stopping at various amazing beaches and sights along the way. Ben, our guide / driver, was great - super friendly and knowledgable, and a showed us some awesome places I would never have the skill to get to myself (going over the dunes, and later up Wylie rock was a real highlight!). We had been warned that the kangaroos can be elusive at Lucky Bay and so tried not to get our hopes up, but within minutes of parking up, we had one hopping over to us, desperate to get its paws on our morning tea (which was so delicious we made a special trip to Bistro Louis accross the road the next morning for more of their cakes).

Later that day we were scheduled to go on the 80 minute scenic flight - due to an unavoidable set of circumstances this had be to be rescheduled and Chris couldn't have been any more accommodating for us, working around our plans the next day to ensure we would still be able to have this amazing experience. We flew first thing the next morning and it was another must-do - having never been on a plane like this before I was a little nervous but we had a great smooth ride and it was worth it to see the sights of Cape le grand and the rainbow lakes from the air. Genuinely don't think we could have had a better time with Fly Esperance and I'd recommend to anyone!

We booked Le Grand 4x4 Beach Adventure and Le Grand Scenic Flight in November 2022 and we can’t praise the experience enough! The drive along the beach in the Cape Le Grand National Park was beautiful and the icing on the cake was encountering a tame kangaroo on the white sands of Lucky Bay beach. Our guide Ben was friendly and instilled confidence - even when we drove up the rock! The Scenic Flight with Chris was equally stunning and we were impressed that the company went to great lengths to accommodate us when timings needed to be changed. Five stars all round!

We really enjoyed the whole flight and experience, it is well worth the cost. Ben our pilot was friendly and helpful and made smooth work of flying and landing. We flew over the coloured lakes, across Esperance to the coast and had a most enjoyable lunch and drink at the Condingup Tavern.

My wife and I did a scenic flight yesterday followed by a 4x4 beach drive today. Both were excellent and I would highly recommend doing both to get the two different perspectives.
Both our pilot yesterday and our driver, Ben, today were personable and knowledgeable young men, who were good company and excellent at their respective jobs. They are to be commended.
The 4x4 is in a very comfortable Landrover Discovery. Hope that as the business grows they stick to providing comfortable and uncrowded drives at a little extra cost rather than go for quantity.
Would recommend anyone visiting Esperance to use their services.

We rewarded ourselves with a scenic flight on the last part of our holiday to Esperance. What an amazing perspective of Esperance after travelling in the surrounding 2D world! Our favourite parts were take off and landing, the captivating views and the interesting stories the pilots told us.
Definately will be going again!

Brilliant. Two adults, two kids. Absolutely loved every second. Safety is paramount. Our pilot, Ben, is a great communicator and a top bloke. We saw an artist’s palate of lakes (including some very pink ones) and the stunningly gorgeous coast and lots more. Do it!

Incredible flight! Ben was very knowledgeable about our surrounds, and very accommodating to taking pictures, especially when we saw a pod of whales with their calves! Scenery was beautiful despite Lake Hillier not being pink due to recent rain, but the rest of the experience more than made up for it.

I also booked the shuttle to and from Esperance airport, which was also great: always on time and very friendly staff.

A must do in Esperance!

We took our family (2 adults and 3 kids) on the 30min scenic flight around Esperance and Cape Le Grand. The kids absolutely loved the adventure! It was an amazing way to view all the beautiful beaches and plan our next few days of sight scene all the ones we liked. Jacob (the pilot) was very knowledgeable of the area and provided fantastic insight into the town. Thank you Fly Esperance!!!

We booked the flight to the pink lake at Lake Hillier on Middle Island. This trip did not disappoint. Beautiful sights all the way and out pilot did several circles of the pink lake allowing us to take some very nice photos. Transportation from Esperance to the landing strip was provided. Our pilot (Elise) was very professional and knowledgeable about the areas we flew over. I would highly recommend this tour with Fly Esperance to anyone who wants to see that stunning pink lake against the colours of the southern ocean.
