Sit back and relax in our comfortable all-terrain, air conditioned bus, as we take you along the wild side of Magnetic Island to West Point. Enjoy a complimentary drink and a shared platter on the beach while you watch the sun set over the Coral Sea.

FITNESS LEVEL & ACCESSIBILITY
A little low impact walking can be done during the tour along the beach at West Point. This tour offers a more a relaxing wander rather than an active adventure. 

We have a drop down step to the bus that also makes accessibility easier.

TOUR INCLUDES

• One complimentary glass of champagne, beer, wine or soft drink at West Point. (Additional drinks are available for purchase during your sunset stop). No BYO please.

We donate $1 per person from every West Point Sunset Safari Tour to support the Magnetic Island Nature Care Association (MINCA).

GETTING THERE

By ferry from Townsville: Catch the 3.50pm Sealink ferry from the Townsville Breakwater terminal on Sir Thiess Drive, Townsville to Magnetic Island.

By bus on Magnetic Island: Catch the 3.58pm Kinetic bus from the Horseshoe Bay beachfront to the Nelly Bay ferry terminal, or the 3.55pm bus from Picnic Bay to the Nelly Bay ferry terminal.

GETTING HOME

By ferry to Townsville: Catch the 8.00pm SeaLink ferry from the Nelly Bay terminal on Magnetic Island, to Townsville.

By bus on Magnetic Island: Catch the 8.00pm Kinetic bus from the Nelly Bay ferry terminal through to Horseshoe Bay, or please let us know if you’d liked to be dropped off in Picnic Bay on your return trip.

WHY NOT DINE ON MAGGIE AFTER YOUR SUNSET TOUR?:
Simply prebook your dinner in Picnic Bay or Nelly Bay, and catch a later bus and/or ferry home!

PLEASE NOTE:

• To allow for preparation time, bookings close 2 hours prior to the departure time of each tour.
  

• There is no access to toilets on this remote tour. Tim your tour guide will take you to facilities before the tour starts and once the tour ends.
  

• This tour is weather dependent, particularly during the wet season (between December and March).
