What a beautiful venue and property! I’ll start off with that. The grounds of this farm is absolutely stunning and well kept! I think visiting in the spring time when the grapes are blooming with their leaves is a must. Food was also delicious. We had the every Acre feast. I must say you can taste the freshness in all of the dishes with fresh vegetables. Something quite special when you can taste true garden flavours with fresh picked vegetables, the difference is glorious. Lamb was also cooked to perfection, soft flavourful meat that melts in your mouth. I love the idea of farm to table experiences not only is it sustainable but a different experience to have in the hospitality industry. A lot more of an intimate and relaxing dining experience. My only fault were I wish they did a tad more for a birthday celebration especially when you come to spend quite a bit of money here, but other than that I can not fault anything else. Service was warm and welcoming,
you have some absolutely beautiful staff.

Had lunch at Glenarty recently and enjoyed every mouthful of their amazing food. We had the Farm Feast. This started with smoked cows curd which came with an olive oil and orange dressing, beetroot, radish and edible flowers. This was followed by freshly baked sourdough and a charcuterie plate. I couldn't decide which of the meats I preferred, they were all delicious. The green tomato chutney was a star for me. The main course was perfectly cooked lamb loin and a house made pork sausage, served with two sides, both beautifully dressed. We made room for a lime pie with creme fraiche pastry and Mascarpone topping. It's not cheap but definitely worth every cent.

What an absolute gem of a place! First time at Margaret River and WOW! Firstly we were delayed and the team at Glenarty were extremely accomodating and flexible so we could still attend and enjoy our experience. We originally were booked for just the wine tasting but upgraded to I believe the Farm Feast which was a 3 course meal. My sister and I have opposite tastes when it comes to wine so one of our waitresses came up with a fun way for us to try to wins and guess which wine was for who. It added such a fun element to the experience as we compared and talked about each tasting. And the food was INCREDIBLE. I don't often get stunned eating food, I'm open to trying food but don't often get impressed, but that seasonal menu just was truly spectacular. The charcuterie board was amazing, the meats in the mains and perfectly paired sides. I bought some of the condiments and a sparkling wine as gifts because I fear no one would believe me how great it was otherwise! Thanks for an unforgettable experience.

Turning in to Glenarty Road we were greeted with a view of a bountiful green garden being tended to by a beanied gardener. Then a young dog wandered past, and a three legged dog followed by a woman in conversation with a man carrying a baby in a box.
Delightful. We knew we were in for an honest, considered experience delivered with care.
The door to the restaurant was a converted hand crank. So inventive. So sustainable. And a beautiful connection to generations of farming.
The food and the wine echoes all of this. It is inventive and created with care and attention to detail. Every mouthful is delicious and feels wholesome and good for you.
The restaurant is warm and welcoming and like nothing else we’ve experienced. Very highly recommended. We’ll be back.

Such a great place to stop and have a tasting or two. My partner and I stopped in to have a look and taste some of their wines. The only disappointment was not realising the farm to plate dinning was on offer, otherwise we definitely would have booked a table for lunch. The smell of the flame grill was something else. Can't praise the friendly staff enough, and their wine selection was gorgeous enough for me to walk out with an arm or two full of their produce. Definitely will be booking lunch there next time we are in the region....

Easily one of the best meals I’ve had in my life, made even more enjoyable by the absolutely lovable animals hanging out together. The food is inventive without being pretentious. Chef and team clearly understand flavour profiles and know how to manipulate and make them shine on their own, and together. Will definitely be back, and allocate more time so we can do the farm tour!

We were looking forward to this given the excellent reviews and focus on sustainable farming. We had the farm feast but unfortunately it was not a feast. We left hungry. The bread was stale. The sides with the main were 2 cold dishes including one that looked and tasted similar to the (small) entree. The charcuterie could have come with additional bread or crackers. There was no substantial carb, and only 1 protein dish and 1 hot dish for $105 seems overpriced. Plus additional $10 for sparkling water. That said the lamb and service was nice. I’d recommend going for lunch at the more renowned and established wineries with better food and wines to match.

Just a walk in chancing it, though busy the team looked like a well oiled machine, welcoming, warm and kind, totally not expecting a feed as all tables were full, but after a few checks, managed to fit me in, had the most beautiful experience at the bar on their set 3 course meal.
Fresh, vibrant and most of all the taste of love, the love of paddock to plate, shines through with every dish, despite the business had the pleasure of 2 chefs coming out and explaining the dishes, Georgia, Jess and Adam and the rest of the team a true hospo professionals that connect and make you feel part of the Glenarty Road Family.
I can now see why it’s a destination Restaurant. Highly recommend ( with a reservation)

We loved this random lunch stop visit so much! It’s such a beautiful location with fantastic service. The staff were all incredibly friendly and knowledgeable when sharing about the farm to table concept. The cheese and wine was fantastic, and the cake is dangerously good.

Had a wonderful 30th Anniversary celebration lunch here. Glenarty Road is around 30 minutes out of Margaret River. It is a beautiful little restaurant that's part of the farm/winery that believes in sustainability and regenerative growing. It offers a farm to table menu, a 3 or 5 course set menu that serves food that is beautifully presented and optionally paired with selected wines. there is also the option of a farm tour. The 5 course menu costs $130 and $35pp extra if you want the farm experience tour. The five paired wines are a $45pp option. we went for the 5 course "Every Acre Feast" and selected one of the wines we really enjoyed from our tasting before the meal (5 wine tasting $15pp). The food in each course was truly beautifully presented with great attention to detail. The main for the menu is usually lamb or pork. We had been told by friends the lamb was exceptional but on our visit pork was the main. Each course was tasty, fresh and vibrant. My wife and I would not usually choose pork but we thought we'd give this a try and whilst it was all generally beautifully done our pork main was a little overcooked and a bit chewy. We probably would have been happier with lamb. Apart from that, service was excellent with great explanations of each course and the restaurant itself was a really lovely place to be on this special occasion. We must return another time to try the lamb menu and again enjoy the hospitality of this family run farm.

Glenarty Road winery in Karridale, WA, is an experience that perfectly blends rustic charm with refined culinary and viticultural excellence. Visiting on a Tuesday, we opted for the farm tour paired with a degustation lunch, arriving just as the doors opened to a stunning location surrounded by picturesque gardens that felt both lush and naturally untamed. The warm welcome from the staff set the tone for the day, and we were invited to start with a wine tasting. The staff guided us through 10 distinct wines with patience and expertise, answering our questions and making us feel engaged and informed.
The farm tour itself, with two other couples (six people total), was an intimate exploration led by Sandy, whose passion and knowledge added depth to the experience. It was fascinating to see how the food is grown, giving us an appreciation for the farm-to-table philosophy that drives the venue. While the tour didn’t include a peek into the kitchen—a detail I would have loved—it was nonetheless insightful and showcased the dedication that goes into every aspect of the production.
The real highlight, however, was the food. The dishes, while simple in concept, were executed so skillfully that the fresh, high-quality ingredients shone through in every bite. It was clear that the chefs and kitchen staff put great care into their craft, creating meals that were both interesting and deeply satisfying. The table service was equally impressive, with most staff members taking the time to share stories about the farm and the family behind it, reinforcing the strong sense of community and dedication that defines Glenarty Road.
Though the experience is on the pricier side—our lunch, drinks, and a couple of bottles to take home came in at over $460—it’s easy to see why. The attention to detail, the commitment to quality, and the effort required to grow and produce food and wine of this caliber are significant. It’s a place I’d love to revisit, especially to see how the menu evolves with the seasons. Glenarty Road is a true testament to the rewards of sustainable farming and culinary passion, making it a worthwhile splurge for a special day out.

We absolutely loved our visit & experience with Glenarty Road today! Archer was most knowledgeable for our “Where Good Things Grow” tour & we thoroughly enjoyed the tasting plate & wines. We especially loved our chat with Archer’s Grandfather Peter hearing more about the history of the farm & family. Cannot wait to come back & share this with more of our family & friends! PS also loved meeting Jack & Bob 🐾

This year, we expressly wanted to lunch at Glenarty so made a booking in advance. As it turns out, Marie was still there and she remembered us, so we had a quick chat but skipped the tasting.
A note that complimentary tastings are not included as part of the lunch. Which was fine because i did a 3 glass wine pairing at $30 with my meal, so got to try a few of their wines.
Speaking of the meal it's all about what they grow on the premises. The first dish was "rosy" garden plate highlighting beetroot, next up the charcuterie which was smoked ham on a jerusalem artichoke tart. Both delicious and small plates. So we started thinking it was going to be a light affair and that we might be out of there earlier than expected.
Then came the mains. Oh, what mains! Hubby had the pork while i had the lamb, and i have honestly never been served such generous portions of lamb before! The pork was delicious as was my lamb, though it was slightly overcooked.
Dessert is not included in the set, but it was certainly not necessary because we were stuffed after the mains.
I think Glenarty is a great winery to visit, take a gander round its grounds and settle is for a hearty Farm Feast!

Oh my goodness gracious me - what an experience Glenarty road is!!
From the food to the wines, to the waitstaff to the grounds - this place did not disappoint!
We had the farm feast with half the crew doing wine pairing and the other half buying bottles. Honestly one of the best meals ever!
Big shout out to Elena who looked after us throughout the day!

We've been wanting to try this place for a long time and finally had the time and opportunity to drop in whole we were staying at Hamelin Bay for the weekend. It was very rustic and well done with the pot-belly fire going on a cool winters day. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly with Elena being especially helpful while we sampled the wines and stayed for a Cappuccino and cake. Peter McDonald dropped in and we had a nice chat about the history of Glenarty and the birth of the winery and restaurant.
We highly recommend a visit anytime of the year.

What immediately impressed when we drove up to the car park was the very well tended and flourishing vegetable gardens.
The cellar door tasting area and restaurant, with its beautiful timber tables, are in the same rustic building. We initially had just come for a tasting with our informative host, Marie, walking us through the wines on offer, mostly whites and with a number of Italian varietals including Vermentino, Fiano and Lagrein (a red). The other whites included chardonnay, Semillon, a Fume Blanc and a Savagnin. There was also a Rose, a Syrah and surprisingly for this region, a Pinot Noir that we thought was very good.
The most interesting wine though, but not available for tasting, was the Fathoms Cuvee. A sparkling wine (Chardonnay/Pinot Noir) that has been matured ten fathoms down in the Southern Ocean near Augusta where the lees have been naturally stirred for 13 months. The bottles come up with various degrees of sealife encrustation and look terrific. We bought a couple of bottles in presentation cases as unique gifts.
We ended up staying for lunch. There were several options. One that included a farm tour and a five course degustation lunch at $155 a head, a separate five course degustation lunch at $120 a head or the three course Farm Feast degustation lunch for $95 a head. We had the Farm Feast which included a garden plate, charcuterie, a main (which today was lamb) and sides which included potatoes. All of the dishes were very tasty and showcased the Farm's top to tail philosophy (in the charcuterie plates) and also their farm produce. The garden plate was a work of art whilst the lamb was cooked over a wood fire.
Service was very friendly and efficient.
Highly recommended.

Who could complain after spending a relaxing, welcoming and very informative afternoon with Matt on our Forage on the Farm tour! From start to finish including a respected 'Welcome to country', Matt you are an asset to Glenarty and your passion is transparent. We loved the different stages of the tour and how it provided opportunity to weave our way around the farm, past animals, throughout vineyards, tasting wines and devouring on the freshest local snacks.
One suggestion is perhaps a half way compost loo would be handy for those who drink way too much water (and wine) ????.
Wonderful place to visit again and again and again...

Well well we thought we had been to some unbelievable restaurants throughout Australia but this is right up there in fact it takes the cake
Glenarty Road farmhouse is a leader in quality and taste truly they set the bench mark for excellence for other Restaurants
Just driving into the place you could feel that this was going to be a first class experience and it was.
Just Watching the highly enthused horticultural and gardening staff gave you the feeling today will be special
A brief chat to the staff was a terrific starter for the day ahead well done staff your first class
Well once we were seated the experience started with a brief over view of the farm and it’s operations eg they grow there own vegetables and salads that also goes for most meat products what they can’t do they top up with other local producers which was music to my ears.
Then the wine summary and over view given by a dynamic young guy full of knowledge and enthusiasm.
We were moving along at a pleasant pace and then the quality food started
Lovely fresh home cooked bread and cheese and then a garden plate with home grown snow peas and other veggies it was wonderful
I forgot to say we chose the full recommended menu so there was no need to select anything as the thinking and choices were made for us interesting but it works so well
The next dishes included delicious meats top to tail yummy yummy magnificent, then the best lamb ever
This was followed by great sweets and a lovely cheese board
I have included the menu so read it at your leisure and suffer guys this restaurant is unreal
This is a must it’s a great experience and sheer class and quality
Terrific staff , a great atmosphere and lovely surroundings all make this wonderful place so beautiful, enjoy it it’s brilliant the 6 of us loved it and so will you

We had a wonderful dining experience at Glenarty Road. Arrived 30 minutes early to partake in the wine tasting. Elena was sweet and we felt she was able to discuss wine with us in a non-pretentious way but still knew her stuff. Wines were great. Sparkling is rarely my favourite but their Cuvee is super crisp and fresh. Well worth it.
The dining experience was just amazing. We've never walked away saying a salad impressed us the most but this season's garden plate was divine. The smoked element, the mandarins... it was seriously delicious. The rye bread was a great treat to start too. Loved the porchetta charcuterie plate, despite my distaste for anchovies, this plate got me on board! Lamb was lovely and the sides equally delish. Topped it off with dessert... beyond the food, which was impressive, the service was great. Everyone was friendly, inviting and we truly felt that we were in someone's pride and joy shed. Thank you!

Fantastic experience. We went with a large group that included kids and various dietary requirements. Will gave us an excellent farm tour before we settled into a delicious and insanely filling lunch. The kids had no complaints, even when confronted with honest-to-God vegetables. Really pleased to have discovered this hidden gem in the Margaret River region.
We were treated to a relaxed, warm and welcoming atmosphere, hosted by both William and Matt who both had great knowledge about wine and food.
Highlights were the beautiful red wines, cheese platter and roast lamb- I loved the rustic, relaxed feel of both red wines. The selection of cheeses in the trio was tastefully picked by the head chefs and complemented the wines really well. The roasted lamb on spit also really made my husband's day!
Very kid-friendly friendly place and we enjoyed meeting Bob - the farm dog who was so friendly to our active 4 year old son!

Found this place unexpected through google map on the day we arrived Margaret River. We arrived bit late afternoon, so we are aware most place will be closing at 5pm
We come without booking around 3.40pm and greeted by lovely bar man, very friendly and over us what can they serve due to kitchen has closed. We had superb pear strudel, coffee, and wine.
They let us sit outside which we prefer and enjoy beautiful weather and the surrounding. Friendly border collie dog guarding the property and farm animal.

Good service
Beautiful vibe
Stunning food
On a rainy day in early march we made our way to glenarty road for the farm feast and what a feast it was. The grounds are beautiful, the farm is beyond the fence and the setting in a shed feels cosy and there seemed to be a few locals enjoying a wine.
We decided to do the wine pairing which ended up being a great way to sample a number of their wines. The meal was excellent, beautifully presented, packed with flavour and a diverse mix of offerings. We were absolutely stuffed by the end!
Beautiful vibe

William was our host and guide for the food and forage farm tour on a recent weekend visit. What a wonderful winery and farm. We tasted so many wines, ate amazing food sourced onsite, walked to meet the piglets and learnt a lot about their vines. This fab place is an absolute must-visit!!

We did the wine testing followed by a delicious lunch designed around available local product and what's in their garden. The staff is down to earth and incredibly welcoming. Wonderfull time spent in superb location, we will be back. Amazing homemade terrine!
