Embark on a captivating boat tour on the lookout for whales, dolphins, seals, and other amazing marine life along the picturesque east coast of Wilsons Promontory. Discover humpback and southern right whales returning on their migration after giving birth in warmer breeding grounds.


On your journey take in the stunning coastal scenery including remote sandy beaches, rolling forests, coves, isolated rocky islands and towering cliffs.

Delight with diverse marine wildlife such shy albatrosses, white-bellied sea eagles, Australian fur seals and common dolphins

We may cancel cruises due to weather or minimum numbers. You’ll be notified in reasonable time and offered a transfer or refund. If booking accommodation we advise checking their cancellation policy.


This tour operates in open waters, and the vessel’s motion may cause sea sickness for some passengers. We strongly recommend taking anti-seasickness tablets prior to departure.

Wilsons Prom Whale Cruises depart from Port Welshpool. All day parking is at the wharf, 80 Lewis St, Port Welshpool. WHAT TO BRING We recommend you bring on the day: * Comfortable clothing & shoes, sun hat & sunglasses * Sunscreen * Wind/rain-proof jacket * Help us reduce plastic waste – Bring your own keep cup and refillable water bottle * All personal medication required, including motion sickness pills if prone to motion sickness MEALS & DRINKS Morning tea and lunch will be included on the day, liquor and soft drinks are available at bar prices. Please let us know of any special dietary requests at lest 48hrs prior to the cruise by contacting our office. Please note that this is not an allergen-free kitchen and food may contain or come into contact with common allergens. CRUISE CONDITIONS The cruise operates in open Bass Strait waters, where rough conditions can sometimes be encountered. Although our vessel is designed for maximum comfort, some conditions may distress those who are prone to motion sickness, high blood pressure, heart conditions, pregnancy or any other conditions that motion may affect. Passengers who are on current medications or suffer prior illnesses are required to inform crew staff. Ocean conditions may also alter the cruise route. CANCELLATION We reserve the right to cancel any cruise based on not meeting minimum numbers or weather conditions. You will be informed within a reasonable timeframe of this cancellation with the option of a transfer or refund.
