I enjoyed such a great wine tasting here yesterday. The woman there was very knowledgeable, generous with her time and the wines were amazing. Definitely worth visiting smaller boutique wineries as much as he larger ones. Highly recommend.

Found this magic place on Broke Rd Pokolbin in the Hunter Valley. We will definitely be coming back for a wine tasting here as the venue is one of the cleanest I have visited. To the owners of this establishment who are very friendly and their staffy Frankie who loves attention thank you and keep up the great work you do. I would definitely recommend going here for a wine tasting.

Just had an absolutely amazing wine tasting here with Missy! She is so full of passion, stories, authenticity and the wines are incredibly delicious. Highly recommend to anyone having a day of wine tasting in The Hunter! They have wines that are extremely unique for the region. Scotty is an exceptional wine maker too. I took home a bottle of their Shiraz-Cab blend. I can’t speak highly enough of this cellar door and their dedication to a magical tasting experience! 5-stars!

Out of 5 days we’ve been in the Hunter, Missy gave us great advice and a greater experience. The hospitality and friendliness is unparalleled in any capacity. If I had to recommend 1 place while staying, you should visit Comyns & Co. Single greatest experience I’ve ever had. Lovely people and superb wine. Thank you for everything. Fabulous little winery looking to do something fresh and exciting, dropped in for a tasting late December. Wes was really friendly and full of information - and the wines are incredible too. Great artwork on the walls and on bottle labels, gives this place a younger vibe. Would benefit from a refurb of the bathroom, but otherwise comes highly recommended.

Amazing winery! Larissa did our tasting and she was so easy to talk to and explained everything so well you can tell she really loves working here. She was managing multiple tastings at once but didn’t seem at all stressed by this and it was lovely to have a moment to actually try the wines without being attended to the whole time, I much preferred this compared to other wineries I’ve been to. And the wine was excellent! ended up buying all of purchases of the day from here. Will definitely visit again on next visit to hunter, really pretty location to

Hubby and I were having our first weekend away without the kids and we had a great tasting experience! We were served by Missy who had such a beautiful personality, very warm and made us feel welcome! There were a few others also doing a tasting and she was working alone but she never made us feel forgotten or rushed, she took the time to give everyone the same experience! Highly recommend. A group of friends and I had the absolute pleasure of sitting down with Missy for a wine tasting. From the second we arrived it just felt like home and the wines we tasted were all absolutely beautiful. The crowd favourite was definitely the Rosè. Our entire group agreed it was the best experience we had for the day after visiting multiple wineries. A brilliant view and overall setting for tasting wine. We popped next door to grab some delicious olive oil and balsamic vinegar from Pukara Estate, and also a coffee and a light bite from Cafe Enzo.

Best cellar door experience I have had in a long time. Not stuffy and snobby at all. Great set up with art on the walls, plants, colourful wine bottles and a sofa overlooking the ponds. The man looking after us was very passionate and knowledge about the wines, and being a local was able to share lots of additional information about the region/history etc. Really "organic" truly welcoming experience and very pet friendly too.

Amazing wine tasting with super staff We had an amazing wine tasting with Larissa. She was super friendly and knew what she was talking about when it came to wines. She made us feel very welcome and we felt like we had known her forever. She offered some recommendations for places to eat which we tried and were also amazing. Went back a second day to purchase more of their wine as a gift. Got to meet the owner of the business and she too was lovely. This winery is well worth visiting on your next time in the Hunter Valley. Five stars all the way.

Great cellar door in the Peppers complex. Larissa was a lovely host and talked us through the excellent wines and the back story of all the labels with amazing artwork. We had a great time kicking back on the couch and tasting. Even the puppy loved the cool floor on a hot day. Cheers!

Great Host & Wines This was our first stop in the Hunter and we loved Larissa's friendly & energetic presentation of the Comyn's wines. She was great. Beautiful outlook over the lake from the cellar door. This was the perfect start to our weekend. Big thanks to Larissa - she was super friendly and was very welcoming.

This was my second turn returning with visiting guests from QLD. I was so pleased to have Larissa serve us, I remembered her friendly and knowledgeable nature from my previous visit. We booked the lounge tasting option and had a glorious, comfortable spot with a beautiful outlook. Larissa checked that we were comfortable and was very personable throughout the tasting. We enjoyed all tastings of Comyns & Co wines and bought a few bottles. I highly recommend and will continue to take my guests here.

We had a lovely wine tasting experience there today with the winemaker's wife. Their wines are delicious so we had to buy a few. 100% recommend stopping there.

Out of all the cellar doors, we went to this weekend, this was the most disappointing one. We were attended by this guy with an Irish accent, not sure if he has been working there for a long time but he sure looked tired and just wanted us to go and finish the wine tasting. No hospitality in this guy's book whatsoever. He just poured the wines and left us waiting at the bar practically the whole time. Cant wait to get it over and done with. I feel sorry for the owners.

Another great visit to Comyns and Co We have visited the Comyns and Co cellar door several times and always get great service. This visit was no exception. Didn't have to book, didn't have to do a "full tasting" just tasted what we liked and a few new options. Very happy, walked away with a case. A great option for small groups looking for something special in the Hunter, by a great winemaker. Drop in for lunch at Cafe Enzo and visit Charteris wines too, while you're there. Fabulous.

What a tasting session great wines great hostess. Very few of the other wineries we attended over the week matched this standard. The best part we got a couple dozen memories still to drink.

Great trip through the wine We arrived early Saturday and I would advise this in order to avoid the coach parties.

We were lucky to be taken through the wines by Scott the winemaker, lots of really insightful wine commentary as well as recommendations for wine. Very honest in his appraisal of the new style of wine in the Hunter vs the older wineries.

Second stop on our tour. Nice location and outlook, flexible in their tasting bookings, let two do the basic taste and two do the more advanced experience. Which not all wineries do.
Only one wine stood out for me, Mrs White which is a blend of four different varieties.

After being in Sydney lockdowns, we were itching to get to the country side and experience what the hunter has to offer. Comyns provided a relaxed, comfortable, modern home feel to a beautiful wine tasting where I liked all the wines that I tasted. Mitch was super friendly and attentive, had a good chat with us, and made us feel very at home. Thank you for a lovely experience, can’t wait to crack into our bottles ????

Could be more engaging... This was our 3rd Winery out of 4 and we all rated this the 4th best for the day. Just lacked the personal touch. Not a great visually looking winery. Could have achieved the same experience at a boutique wine shop. There are far better winery tour experiences i'm sure.

Second Stop of wine down weekend away. Comyns & Co: we were met by our host Sarah who was the one that lead us through our tasting session. General Hunter Valley but fine selection of wines were presented to our group. Sarah gave us the origins of Comyns & co. It was emphasised how This winery is a family centred operation.

Later, after the tasting I had the fortunate chance meeting Missy Comyn, the woman behind the wine maker Scotty. Having met her, really highlighted the authentic, down to earth Australian familial environment that grounds the couple. She shared stories of her children and was open about her experience in wine. She also gave me insight into the history of the name. I initially thought it was said “Com-mins”, it’s actually Said like “comb-mins”. And she didn’t mind that majority of visitors will more or less mispronounce the name. Speaks volumes of a winery owner to walk away from there lunch to talk to random customers about their wines and the process and production. She even was humble in admitting that Scotty is more the science mind when delivering tastings. Will definitely come back again, and see if I can get a tasting with Scotty. I am one that appreciates the science behind a fine wine.
The groups top favourite is “Mrs White”.

A wonderful find! Amazing wines & service! This little family run boutique winery totally stole our hearts! Although we had our favourites, which is normal, we actually enjoyed every wine we tried, which is extremely rare! Missy was a wonderful host - real and passionate about her product - and we could see why. A memorable experience - Couldn't recommend it enough!
