As our passion for creating natural farming ecosystems grows so does our need for assistance and since we do not have any accomodation on the farm yet we created our own version of WOOFing to help us transform the farm and at the same time hopefully helping us make some friends and build a community.
Book in to join us for a day, half day or even a few hours helping on the farm. For every hour you work we give you a $35 wine credit to use in our Cellar door and as we get more fresh produce we hope to grow this to include credit towards our meats and produce as well.
What you will be doing;
We have a range of projects we are currently working on including;
– Planting more trees for the Koala and Sugar glider habitats
– Weeding and mulching the existing plantings in the Koala and Sugar glider habitats
– Replanting vines into the vineyard
– Mulching young vines in the vineyard
– Planting flowers, shrubs and herbs amongst the vines to create more biodiversity in the vineyard itself
– Helping with construction of the Cellar door and farm shop
– Helping fencing off our Biodiversity zones
What do you need to bring;
We are working on the farm so its important to dress correctly you will need:
– To wear covered shoes we suggest boots is the best option
– Bring a Hat, Long sleeve shirt and sun protective clothing
– Bring a water bottle
– Brings snacks we will provide some but its hard work on the farm so best to be prepared.
– Wearing long pants will stop the long grass irritating your legs so is suggested for those who are irritated by long grass.
Lunch for those who have selected to join us for lunch we will provide a basic lunch we would love to offer what our winemaker eats but unfortunately he often gets distracted working on the farm and forgets about lunch so thought we better provide you more than air. Generally we will have a selection of cold meats, bread fruit etc for those that have selected this option.

I have visited a few wineries in the Highlands and Jeff's wines are well and truly up there if not the best in the area,congratulations for a great product.

This is the first time I've ever experienced something like this. Get your act together. ???? ????
Original post:
We had a booking today (8/18) @ 2:30pm. When we arrived there was no one there, only a sign that said "will return @4:30p". Our reservation was a prepaid reservation and we had received 2 confirmation emails, one at the time of booking and one the night before. We attempted to reach out via phone and email. No one responded.
Luckily the owner of Merrigangs : Distillery and Bar saw our debacle and invited us in to try his wonderful spirits. He definitely saved our tasting experience.
Do NOT book with a tasting with Tractorless! But if you want to try some amazing spirits check out Merrigangs Distillery. They are right across from it and are super friendly and amazing!
edit - I had also called and left my phone number - so I could be reached if my brother could not - but no contact was received though we were sitting around the area until around 4p. Appreciate your invite but unfortunately our party was only visiting for the day.
He was one of the most passionate people I have ever met. He had us enthralled with his stories and knowledge. And the wine was great as well.
Keep up the great work Jeff. Changing the world one grape, sheep, chicken at a time ????

Sean was great.
Only opened for us. Was impressed by this.
Very informative. Friendly. Great wine.
Would buy wine from here again.

Sean was very generous with his time, was knowledgeable and partnered relationships with food outlets at The Mill made for a very enjoyable experience.

The service and the vibe was awesome.
Inexpensive and a must do on your next trip to Bowral
