Was an fantastic cruise... unfortunately we didn't get to see any whales, but we did see seals and dolphins. Crew was lovely and the morning tea was delicious... the skipper was very knowledgeable on the sound and delivered good history on albany...
Also because we didn't see any whales, we do get another cruise for free from their whale guarantee which is amazing
Highly recommended

Excellent boat, and a real nice way about the captain and his deck hand. I had a nice conversation with the captain up on deck and he is incredibly knowledgeable. We spotted 7 different whales, large and small, 6 humpbacks and one southern right whale.
Hot chocolate was great!!! Very welcome on a cold and windy morning.

Highly recommend Captain Paul and his boat for any special occasion. My Hen's Party on the weekend was perfect, it was a beautiful evening and everyone had fun. The boat is great; it is clean, comfortable and a good size. Paul answered any questions I had and was very helpful. 5/5 star's

Paul and his crew are excellent operators. Knowledgeable fun and friendly and safe.
We were supposed to go on the Saturday but the weather was terrible Paul sent me a message Friday evening saying the cruise was too dangerous to go so gave several options to either cruise another day or refund money we decided to wait until Sunday to try again and glad we did.
Saw two southern right whales a cow and a cub. Was spectacular to see dolphins and seals too.
If your going in cooler months make sure you rug up was windy and cold lol.

David Thank you for your kind words. I think we have found them on all but a couple so far this year. Saying that we have not done as many cruises as any year before as the weather has been a little Arctic!! Cheers Paul

We saw whales and dolphins and seals and had a wonderful time. Not too many people on board and good access to viewpoints.
Good boat with real toilets, great hosts and tea/coffee and cake. Recommend.

Enjoyed a beautiful day out onboard. Unfortunately we couldn’t see whales to our great disappointment, but at least we could see numerous seals up close. The captain Paul made great effort till the last minutes to find whales for us. He generously suggested that we could have another free cruise as we couldn’t see whales. We needed to leave Albany next day so we couldn’t do so, highly recommend to schedule with extra few days if you want to make sure to see whales. We also enjoyed the morning tea served onboard.
The boat had a comfortable sofa seating but Albany’s ocean could give you a bit shaky cruise, so you might want motion sickness medicines if you are sensitive.

Excellent tour operator and crew. Paul the skipper went to great lengths over a 3 hour period to ensure we maximised our whale watching time. We saw 8 whales in total. None of them breached, but it was still the thrill of a lifetime to see them swimming up close. Fantastic morning tea with cake provided. The larger vessel was comfortable and I would not hesitate to recommend this company.

We went out on the boat on Tuesday 11 July and had the most amazing time. There were several humpback whales around and Paul took us out into the Southern Ocean so we could get a really good look at them. We floated around enjoying them for close to an hour all up. It was a fantastic morning, I can't wait to go back again. The morning tea/coffee was delicious, as were the muffins. Thank you so much for a very special experience. Your boat and hospitality are the best!!!. Jo
