Why walk when you can ride the sights?
On the Melbourne by Bike City Tour you’ll see more in a few hours than most see in days.
Explore Melbourne’s grooviest streets, parks, shops, cafes, hidden laneways and multicultural neighbourhoods.
Experience real Melbourne hospitality on this leisurely ride with a local guide in small friendly groups (usually 8 or less).
It’s the perfect way to start any Melbourne visit and to get your bearings.
Be a traveller, not a tourist. You won’t just “see” Melbourne… you’ll understand it.
Ride Melbourne’s coolest areas where its university students hang out, explore the city’s vibrant street art scene and shop for amazing treats to eat with fellow riders during our lunch break at the famous Queen Victoria Market (closed Mondays & Wednesdays).
You’ll see Melbourne’s best architecture old and new, learn a bit of its golden history, experience its cafe and foodie culture… and hear about some of its colourful characters from a passionate guide.

John, once again, thank you so much for this unforgettable day!

The stops on the way round were really interesting and gave a good understanding of the key city sites.
David, our guide, was fantastic. Enthusiastic, knowledgeable and with a real passion for his city. Great from start to finish.
Overall, this is a fun, friendly and informative way to see Melbourne.

John, the guide, took us through different spots in Melbourne city and all were very beautiful. John has very good knowledge and is extremely friendly & helpful. I was in a group with my parents and a different family with young children and John made very sure everybody was doing well and happy.
The tour took 5 hours and John offered us free coffee had the lunch place. Lovely food, btw.
Nice stops to take pictures and go to the toilet. John is a legend and can really recommend to take a bike tour with him!
Save travels you all!

Great way to see the city, get insights about history and buildings.
We had a great tour guide (Stefano) who was very passionate about his city and also very flexible if you have requests.
This is a must-do, certainly at the start of your trip as it provides a great overview of Melbourne. Maybe a bit too much sports stuff in the tour, we spent a long time around the arenas but I guess if the group is not as interested, guide can cut it short
Lunch time is included (pay by yourselves) but they bring you to a great place.

Een absolute aanraden om de stad te verkennen. Dank Robert!

Thank you for the great experience David!!
Marika & Joe 😀

It was all about that particular Melbourne info that you can’t just find in a book or a leaflet. The true stories behind the heart of Melbourne.
In my opinion, that is what a tour makes to a proper memory.
One thing I would like to add on a more technical aspect.
Being a Dutchy, riding a bike is part of nature to me. But, I could really feel that Geoff was looking after us and made sure that everybody was comfortable and safe.
To all those who are not that used to riding a bike in a city, you will be in good hands with Geoff on your side.

Both guide Paul Reed and his 'student' talked diligently about the city, its history, development and much more.
We got a good insight into and introduction to Melbourne.
Many thanks for the trip.
John Berg, Denmark

Thank you Geoff for this nice experience!
