Wallabies, wombats and waterfalls, oh my! Absolutely worth it! We had an amazing time seeing the variety of landscapes and wildlife across Tasmania. Trent is a fabulous guide! This is an active tour, with hiking options for all abilities. Accommodations were excellent!

4-day tour was absolutely amazing! The 4-day tour was absolutely amazing! Trent, our tour guide, showed us some of the most breathtaking spots across Tasmania. He was incredibly professional and knowledgeable, making the experience both fun and informative.

The accommodation and transportation were excellent. One of the highlights was a cozy BBQ dinner by the fire, where we roasted marshmallows with wallabies nearby—it was such a memorable evening. The scenery was spectacular everywhere we went, including the views from the hotels.

We had some unforgettable encounters with wildlife, and one of the funniest moments was our adventure trying to spot a platypus.

From start to finish, the tour was outstanding. I completely recommend Wild Tasmania Tours. I had an incredible time meeting new people, hiking, enjoying scenic walks, and exploring the natural beauty that Tasmania has to offer. Every place was full of charm and stunning landscapes.

amazing!! trent is soo good at finding wildlife we saw literally everything during the 4 days, would not have seen half of them if weren't for the tour. and the trips are super well planned out, with options for various difficulty of hikes from the most intense climbing to most chill walks, accommodations are fantastic too, super nice spots with great hosts that you otherwise wouldn't find.

An excellent trip all-round The trip exceeded my expectations. It was very professionally run by Trent, who was very well-organised, thoughtful and always fully focused on the trip and the interests of the group. We did an amazing amount in a short space of time, but it was not a whistle-stop tour as Trent was keen for us to see and do everything as fully as possible. The accommodation was of a good standard and managed to be quite varied over the three nights. We saw an impressive variety of animals and were very lucky with weather! I would recommend this trip without reservation!

A really wonderful and excellent value trip. The 4 day tour was really excellent and I cannot recommend it highly enough. Trent was a friendly, informative, and organised guide. The accommodation was always comfortable and well chosen. The group size was perfect and everyone was friendly. Early starts meant that we saw places and nature at its best. There was quite a lot of driving but there were regular stops, information and Trent was a very safe driver. The places we saw were absolutely stunning. The trip was very good value and I cannot think of a better way of seeing so much of Tasmania in a short time.

Incredible experience I had the best time on this tour. Really enjoyed the hiking and the stunning views of Tassie. We were lucky enough to spot platypuses and ofcourse wombats and Tassie Devils.

Amazing tour to showcase the beauty of Tasmania A fantastic four day tour that was packed with great locations, breathtaking scenery, amazing hikes and activities.

Had the best time on national park walks and beaches with Trent and other travellers. The tour was well organised and frankly, as efficient as it can be so we can spend more time enjoying nature on walks. Good and varied choice for accommodation too. The small group made it easy to coordinate and meet new friends! Bay of Fires, Hazards Beach and swimming and staying at Bicheno to see penguins in the wild are a personal highlight for me.

Fantastic tour I was a solo traveller on this trip along with others that were travelling as a couple or solo as well.

From rainforests to mountains to beaches, and the animals, the tour covered all the beauty of Tasmania, and everything I wanted to see/do. I was originally thinking of planning the entire trip myself, but I am very glad I chose to do the tour given that I only had 1 week in Tasmania.

With tours, I find that the tour guide and the other travellers make it or break it since you’re spending all waking hours together. Trent was an exceptional guide and everyone in the group was great.

There’s a max limit of 13 people in the tour which was amazing - everything was always on time and small enough to get to know everyone.

I’d highly recommend this tour to anyone that wants to experience all the highlights of Tasmania!

An amazing time hiking & wildlife spotting all over Tasmania An amazing experience! Wild Tasmania lives up to the name. Our four-day tour with owner/ operator Trent was full of stunning hikes and views that showed off the natural beauty of Tasmania to its best advantage.

Trent’s knowledge enabled us to see unique and unforgettable animals and plants. We spotted platypus (lucky!), echidna, wallabies, pandemelons penguins, wombats, and many birds in the wild as well as seeing Tasmanian Devils in a sanctuary.

The walks were superb; I ran out of superlatives. The two big hikes we did at Cradle Mountain and Freycinet National Parks were world-class. The many shorter beautiful waterfall and beach walks were excellent also. There were always several trail options available to accommodate each person’s energy level, from low-key to big challenges.

The itinerary was thoughtfully planned with good accommodation even at the shared/ budget level. We got up and out early every day and felt like we had these beautiful places to ourselves. Options for cooking in or eating out were available each night as well as recommendations for each town we stayed in.

I would highly recommend Wild Tasmania tours if you want to see a wide variety of Tasmanian natural beauty in a small group. It was excellent value for money and a once-in-a-lifetime experience thanks to Trent’s expertise and experience.

p.s. For the best view of the penguins at night in Bicheno, bring a red-light torch or headlamp or get some red plastic to tape over your phone light.

The best small group tour in Tassie I booked this tour as a solo traveller, and it was great! Aside from visiting national parks in Tassie, I was also able to do a lots walking and learn about the locals.
We spotted so many wild animals along the way. My favorite part is seeing wombat in Cradle Mountain and the walking track is so stunning.
I truly enjoyed the 4 days tour with Trent! He is very kind and knowledgeable! He is also very thoughtful, and are willing to go beyond! Definitely recommended!!

Fantastic trip It’s a great tour around Tasmania although my main intention was to explore Cradle Mountain with plenty of time. Due to heavy snow fall Cradle Mountain was not accessible. The substitute walk at Liffey falls was fantastic. Accommodation was comfortable every night and luxurious at Bechino. It wound have been great if I had more time to complete the loop walk at Freycinet National Park. This tour would be perfect if Maria Island is included instead of Cataract Gorge in Launceston and Bay of fires near St. Helens. If opportunities arise I would love to do Cradle Mountain tour again,

2 day cradle mountain The 2 day tour is perfect for people who want to see cradle mountain and the beautiful nature in the west in a short amount of time. We saw so much wildlife and Trent was able to tell us all about the animals and vegetation. The accommodation was really comfortable and clean, highly recommend this tour for anyone!

Excellent tour and would 100% reccomend. See all the best bits of Tasmania in short window! Trent our guide was ethical, knowledgeable and very friendly (plus he has a trained eye to spot wildlife including platypus).

Great tour I just finished two days trip to Cradle Mountain with WTT.
It was totally fantastic experience.
Trent is a very experienced guide and your operator, who was in the business for a long time.
He is very knowledgeable and highly professional guide. He told us many interesting facts about particular places, people and events.
We visited three waterfalls, many nature walks and hydro town.

Our accommodation at Tullah Lakeside
Lodge was great, as the rooms were large, clean and comfortable. It was particularly important after cold and rainy first day on the road.

The jewel in the crown was trip our to Cradle mountain. It was spectacular on the bright clear day. We were so lucky.
We saw a few wombats, echidna, wallabies and pink robin. Trent showed us a great variety of native plants. It was very informative.

A small group of seven lovely people, who love hiking and adventure. A new spacious, clean and super comfortable vehicle with a trailer for luggage.

And have a mentioned that Trent is a very careful driver?

Fantastic tour! Great tour! We went to all the must see spots in Tasmania like Cradle Mountain, Mount Field, Bay of Fires and Freycinet, as well as some hidden gems. We also did some great walks and spotted lots of wildlife. Our guide, Trent, was knowledgeable and a Hobart local.
