Highly recommended I booked a wine tasting with a cheeseboard, my partner doesn’t drink wine so the cheeseboard kept him busy, the wine was lovely, the cheese was from Binnorie Dairy a local cheese company and was divine, the tasting was great with knowledgeable friendly staff members, we stayed for a couple of glasses outside afterwards as it was a beautiful afternoon and the view is stunning, highly recommend for a thoroughly enjoyable experience!

Beautiful vineyard with amazing views and a lovely atmosphere. Definitely worth visiting, but make sure to pre-book for wine tasting as they get fully booked quickly. We went without a booking and couldn’t get a tasting. Also had to wait around 10-15 minutes just for an enquiry as there was only one staff assisting everyone. Apart from that, it was a great experience overall!🌸

Wine tasting experience at Audrey Wilkinson Winery We had friends visiting from Sydney- our group of five did the Standard Wine Tasting Experience and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Robyn i think it was that introduced and talk us through the 7 tastings we had- her knowledge, expertise and friendly service made the whole experience totally enjoyable.
The estate is stunning and the homestead is a beautiful facility.

Best winery EVER. The whole experience was first class! The wines are exquisite, the environment is so friendly with breathtaking views and staff made us all feel like family or can I say royalty. The absolute best winery I’ve ever been to and I have been to many.

Members Wine Tasting Experience Yesterday afternoon we enjoyed a lovely and relaxed Members Wine Tasting. Our host was the delightful Lehenry who was a true customer service champion. He even allowed a special tasting from the Barrel. We find Autumn is the nicest time to visit and stay on site. AW Estate is one of the most beautiful in the Country. We love bringing friends and family and are lucky to have this winery in our own back yard. The wines are amazing as is the service. Our onsite cottage is delightful and I am relaxing on the verandah now, sipping on a delicious Rose, drenched in sun and views no other place has as I type this review.

This was the best wine tasting we have ever done and we have certainly done a few, Oz and other countries! We were lucky that it was just the two of us for the picnic and wine tasting (but I’m sure it wouldn’t have mattered if others had joined), the guide (Maya, hope this is the correct spelling!) was extremely friendly and knowledgeable and it was lovely to have a little tour around the buildings first before sitting down for the delicious wine and the amazing picnic. Incredible value, where we come from in the UK, you wouldn’t get anything close to this good for this money. We also got two wine glasses to take away at the end which we were definitely not expecting! We were lucky the weather was amazing and the scenery was stunning. Didn’t have to go far to find a nice little private spot for the picnic. Highly recommended on all counts!

Lily was absolutely exceptional. After a few cellar door experiences earlier in the day where the service felt a little inattentive, arriving at Audrey Wilkinson and being hosted by her completely turned our day around.

She was warm, knowledgeable and genuinely passionate about the wines, taking the time to guide us through the tasting and answer all of our questions. Her enthusiasm and kindness made the whole experience so enjoyable that we ended up buying far more bottles than we planned.

It really shows how much the host shapes the experience at a cellar door, and Lily made ours feel special. She is an absolute credit to Audrey Wilkinson. Honestly, it’s a shame cellar doors aren’t commission based or able to accept tips, because she truly deserved one.

A beautiful first time wine tasting experience! We were lucky enough to have Aidan lead our experience and he really went above and beyond. The location is absolutely stunning (our taxi driver recommended Audrey for the views - did not disappoint!), the views are unmatched and the building itself is a classic beauty. We did the standard tasting (not huge wine drinkers so felt the premium would be lost on us) and added a cheese board. Fantastic value and a great hour and a half! Aidan’s knowledge and fun personality made it the perfect afternoon. He taught us how to really taste wine, made suggestions based on our feedback of what we were enjoying and even went above and beyond taking some beautiful photos for us on the hill. We are so glad we picked this as our tasting experience for our anniversary, we won’t forget it!

Educational tasting, but service felt inconsistent We did the wine tasting at Audrey Wilkinson Vineyard, which included four white wines and four red wines. The wines were quite different from one another, and it was helpful to hear explanations about the grape varieties as well as how terroir and climate influence the flavors. The educational aspect added some value to the experience.
However, the overall experience felt somewhat inconsistent. The staff member leading the tasting often had to leave to assist other guests, and we were left waiting several times. This interrupted the flow and made the session feel less attentive and less engaging than expected.
While the wines themselves were decent, the service aspect could be improved to make the experience more enjoyable and seamless.

Great wines Everyone was very helpful and friendly. Wines are excellent. A beautiful setting. Will definitely be coming back.

We are visiting from US and love to experience the wine tasting in Hunter Valley, my cousin from Sidney recommended this place since it was her 5th times here, but sad to say Mckenzie our attendant isnt that gracious enough to let us try the wine because of the small amount she poured us. My cousin called her out that the wine usually is a decent amount but she juat ignored it. Photo attached for you to judge. Cant even taste the wine.overall, place was great.

We had a lovely time wine tasting here on Wednesday! Aidan served us and he was delightful, very informative and friendly!! The views are also stunning 🫶🏼 only negative I would say is that you can’t sit outside for licensing reasons - I think maybe unless you get food or for groups of 2 only?

We had the most incredible time with our Deluxe Picnic experience. The tour was very informative, with the great history of Audrey. Our tasting with our guide Jarod was delicious, interesting and engaging. Finally, the picnic was very tasty and we came home with several bottles. Highly recommend.

Pleasurable afternoon with a lovely host and beautiful surroundings. Felt more personal than other wine tastings. We had a lovely afternoon, hosted by Mira. She was welcoming, informative and inclusive. We learned about the wines and the history. The weather was not great but it didn’t spoil our experience. The picnic was delicious and we felt it was good value for money.

Great View ,Site and Staff...High Wine Prices. Booked a tasting for four people, three Irish tourists and an Aussie non-drinking driver. Great staff, absolutely stunning outlook and modern, crisp decor. Heritage items and art work very interesting and informative. Overall experience worth the tasting fee. The one set back and disappointment was the prices asked for the wines on show. Very expensive when compared to online suppliers prices for the same wines. One red wine priced at $48.00 at the winery was described "as great for a BBQ"! Really! I would expect more at this price point!

I enjoyed a most fabulous afternoon at Audrey Wilkinson vineywards in Hunter Valley when on vacation in Australia. I was really excited for a wine tasting and vineyard experience in Australia, and Audrey Wilkinson did not disappoint at all. The cellar is atop rolling hills with vast expanses of old vineyards that offered the most stunning views on the summer afternoon I visited with my family. While I was nervous that my 5 year old nephew traveling with us might be bored, to our delight the cellar was very child friendly, with the hostess offering him a coloring-in book while we enjoyed the tasting. Although we were a bit anxious as the time between the first two wines was quite long, as soon as we brought up the issue with Kaite (if I remember her name right), she immediately took note and we were on schedule from then on. Jared, our guide, had personal insights about the different wines which made the tasting experience enjoyable, and was very accomadating and helpful with our questions. The cheese platter was also generous and served well for our party of fine. We left with 3 different bottles of the wines we enjoyed the most, and enjoyed a lovely stroll around the vineyard afterwards. I highly recommend, and I really look forward to coming back if I ever visit Hunter Valley again!

We visited for a wine tasting, having done similar tastings before and coming in with high expectations based on our experiences in South Africa. The view from the venue was absolutely beautiful, although unfortunately we had to sit indoors.
The selection of wines offered a good range, and while tastings are always subjective, I would have preferred being offered water to rinse my glass between wines, or even a fresh glass at some point, which would have made the experience smoother.
Regarding the host, she was friendly, but her presentation felt very scripted almost as though she was reading directly from a prepared text. We noticed that the table next to us received the exact same descriptions word-for-word, which made the experience feel a bit less personal. She also shared quite strong personal opinions about some of the wines. While I understand that everyone has their own tastes, the comments were a bit too forceful at times and didn’t leave much room for individual interpretation.
Overall, the setting was lovely and the staff were pleasant. With a more tailored and neutral presentation, the wine tasting could be even more enjoyable.

Lovely experience with fantastic hostess I booked this as an anniversary surprise for my boyfriend. Rachel was a wonderful hostess, making for a lovely and fun tasting and giving us a great recommendation for the next leg of our east coast road trip. We had a wonderful time enjoying the picnic on the grounds. Cannot recommend this experience enough!

Beautiful Hunter Valley location and experience Very nice experience with lovely wines and a good lunch basket, although quite expensive for what you get. Location is fabulous, overlooking the expansive vineyards.

History, beauty and wine Called in to see the amazing view and wanted to just have a glass of wine on the terrace, unfortunately they did not sell wine by the glass only the bottle. So we did a wine tasting whilst there which was fun!
We had 7 different wines which were beautifully explained to us and were enjoyable.

Great location and hospitality All of the staff members were lovely and very helpful in making sure everything went well for our special day. We did the private picnic and it was setup so so beautifully with everything you could ask for. Perfect location and atmosphere!!

Our experience at Audrey Wilkinson was absolutely delightful and one of a kind! The location is picturesque and peaceful, with stunning views of the vineyards. We enjoyed a beautiful picnic overlooking the vines with a bottle of Moscato — pure perfection! I’d definitely go back again and highly recommend it. It’s an amazing spot for any event or for capturing gorgeous photos.

It's a wonderful place to unwind and take in the surroundings. The scenery offers a peaceful escape from the everyday hustle. Our experience at Audrey Wilkinson was truly one of a kind — from the rolling vineyards that stretched across the hills to the perfect blend of old-school charm and modern elegance inside the venue. The layout was beautifully thought out, with a welcoming bar area, carefully displayed merchandise, and a small museum that showcased fascinating old tools once used in the art of winemaking. Everywhere we looked, there was a sense of history and craftsmanship. The atmosphere inside seamlessly matched the breathtaking views outside — serene lakes, endless rows of vines, and distant mountain ranges that painted a picture-perfect backdrop. It was not just a tasting, but a journey through tradition, nature, and beauty.

On arrival, and from the outset the view was amazing and the service was exceptional.

My wife, daughter and I were assigned Rachel as our host, who was both knowledgable and super friendly.

We were ushered to a wonderful outside table with magnificent views of the Brokenback Ranges, valley and vineyards.

Having just subscribed to their membership, we wanted to taste the previous Marsh Estate wines which are now included.

We were taken through a full range of white and reds as well as some of the reserve wines that did not disappoint.

We had a wonderful wine tasting experience here. The staff were very friendly and welcoming—despite us arriving without a reservation, they kindly offered to seat us. The semillon was especially good, and the staff were extremely generous, offering us more than the standard tasting. We enjoyed it so much that we ended up purchasing a bottle to take home.

We had a booked wine tasting for 9 at Audrey Wilkinson Winery (1 of my favourites) early August. It was a Saturday, so extremely busy, however we were looked after by Robyn. Robyn, you made our day! Thank you for your knowledge & expertise on the wines & the history of the winery. Your personality & understanding of how to read the group did not go unnoticed. I would say the best host of the day after visiting several other wineries. The personal touch of a bottle of wine as we left for us to celebrate several birthdays was greatly appreciated. Outstanding Service, Great Wines & A Winery You Won’t Want to Leave We visited Audrey Wilkinson Winery for a Tourism NSW famil and for me it was truly a highlight of our trip. Chalk and cheese compared to other stops (and yes—we did get cheese!).

The service was outstanding, Sean was incredibly knowledgeable, personable, and made the experience fun with just the right amount of humour. His expertise really brought the wines to life, and the tasting itself was filled with variety of whites and lovely reds which are my fav, fortified wines, and more - bubbly red OMG what a life changer! I certainly found a few that were “my jam” and happily purchased to take home.

Beyond the tasting, the winery offers some really special experiences that I would love to come back and try. It’s the kind of place where you could easily spend hours just enjoying the views, the wines, and the conversation, we didn't want to leave.

The view at Audrey Wilkinson is absolutely stunning, with one of the best vineyard outlooks in the Hunter Valley. It’s the perfect spot to sit back, relax, and enjoy the beautiful scenery. The wines are of good quality, especially the Semillon and Shiraz, which showcase the character of the region very well.

However, the service was just average. While everything went smoothly, it lacked the warmth and attentiveness that would have made the experience truly exceptional. Overall, it’s still a great place to visit for the atmosphere and wine, but the service could be improved to match the high quality of the setting.

Absolutely beautiful place! Went with my husband on a group tour of Hunter valley in May 2025. Such a stunning location and loved trying different flavoured wines. I am not a big wine drinker but have a big appreciation for this winery. Lovely spot to visit with your partner, friends and family 😊.

A very pleasant time at Audrey Wilkinson Vineyard! We did the Heritage Cellar Experience, very well worth the price and they even gave us extra dessert wines for tasting. Although we went in the winter time and the vineyards were dry, but it was still very scenic, kangaroos were hopping throughout the fields. Great experience!

Uneventful visit Nothing extraordinary nor eventful in this visit. So not much to write that resonate with any expression and impression.

This will always be my favourite Hunter Winery. Such a pretty location rich with history. We booked the cheese and wine pairing experience. From the moment we were greeted on arrival with a glass of sparkling rose, to being introduced to the bubbly and friendly Robyn, we felt very appreciated and special. Lovely wines together with a very special bottle of fortified wine ro take home, which was sampled directly from the barrel. This was an exquisite visit and highly recommend this activity for the staff, location, wines, cheese and ambience. Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Ella hosted our tasting and was extremely knowledgeable and very welcoming. Our two children enjoyed running around on the grass outside. A must-visit Hunter Valley vineyard!

We celebrated our birthday on the weekend with a picnic at Audrey Wilkinson. We were welcomed with such friendly staff, notably Jade who hosted our wine tasting. We had an amazing time with great choices of wine, and with a complimentary wine bottle of our choice. We had a lovely picnic with an immaculate view (especially during the sunset). We also really appreciated the time to learn the history of the Vineyard and of Audrey Wilkinson.

Our host Jade was amazing, funny and accomodating and we truly appreciated her company. She stayed back past closing time until we finished our picnic. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the Hunter, and specifically asked for Jade.
