A Thrilling Downhill Journey
The ride is downhill for 80% of the way, offering a sustained, high-speed blast along scenic ridge tops. Take a moment to soak in the incredible surroundings—on a clear day, you can see all the way to the Sydney CBD! The journey concludes with an optional, world-class single-track section near the end, which is highly regarded as one of the best in Sydney. Please note that a good level of fitness and confident beginner skills are required, especially for the steeper downhill fire trails. 🚴
Premium Mobile Service
This is not your typical basic bike hire. We provide a premium mobile service designed to give you the ultimate self-guided experience. We meet you at the lower commuter parking station at Woodford train station with modern, high-quality equipment. The owner, Sam, spends 30 minutes personally fitting your bike and helmet, explaining bike operation, sharing trail insights, and offering expert riding tips to help you get the most out of your day. 🌟
What’s Included
- Standard Inclusions: Premium mountain bike hire from Woodford, helmet, and detailed trail maps.
- Extra Inclusions: Glove hire and a puncture kit with a spare tube.
- Duration: Expect your ride experience to last between 2.5 to 3.5 hours.
Booking Information
BMBA self guided tours and hire require minimum numbers for the day to go ahead. The booking system will send a pending order email confirmation upon your online booking. When minimum bookings are received, bookings/rides will be automatically confirmed. Regardless of whether ride goes ahead or not, you will receive an email from the owner (Sam), the night before your ride to confirm the status and info about the ride and logistics. Rides that do not go ahead will be instantly refunded or you can choose another date and the booking will be moved…whatever suits you best!

Cancellation and Refund Policies
- Cancellation by Blue Mountain Bikes Australia due to weather: Ride rescheduled for another time.
- Cancellation by customer 8 days or more from ride date: Full Refund no questions asked.
- Cancellation by customer 7 days or less from ride date: No Refund.
- Request change of date 8 days or more from ride date: Yes.
- Request change of date 7 days or less from ride date: No.
