The PADI Advanced Diver Course is a great way to do 5 dives to increase your knowledge and build on your diving skills all in the presence of one of our excellent Instructors. A 5 dive tasting plate of just some of what diving has to offer will leave you more confident and without the limits of an Open Water Diver. We highly recommend this course as an immediate follow on straight after your Open Water course to give you more experience and more confidence. No exams here… it’s all about the diving!
During this course we will do 2 core dives – Navigation and Deep (up to 30m) and 3 elective dives. Our night dive is usually our third dive to ensure you get the skills to join our free weekly guided night dives.
The next 2 dives are up to you. Choose from Wreck, Photography, Fish ID, Search and Recovery, Peak Performance buoyancy, Boat Diver and Naturalist – just to name a few. We choose the dives as a group at the commencement of your course – tell us what you want to experience.
A whole new world comes out at night so why not get out there and check it out? To get you started we choose your first one – one which is a very awesome dive to learn… Night Diving! This will be your third dive of the course on the Saturday evening. Learn the important things about planning night dives as well as actually diving your plan all in the light of your dive torch.

To make matters worse, I attempted to contact the company early in the morning for clarification and to confirm if the event was still happening due to the windy conditions. Despite multiple calls, I received no response. It wasn’t until 9:30 AM that I was finally able to reach someone—only to be told that I would not be eligible for a refund.
This lack of communication and customer support is completely unacceptable. Nowhere in their terms and conditions does it specify what to do in situations like this, leaving customers stranded and without any recourse. Clearer instructions, better responsiveness, and fairer policies should be basic expectations for a company offering diving experiences.
I reached out to Perth Scuba via email to request a resolution, but I have yet to receive a response. Given the poor service, I cannot recommend this company to others. If you’re considering booking with them, be prepared for potential miscommunication and a lack of customer support.

Told to get to the dive shop early 6:30am wait by the roller doors they didn’t say which ones so missed the dive.
A quick email would have solved all of this.
It’s not hard to communicate in this day and age.
Really poor.

wasted my time & money for the first time.

Completed my Padi certification today with Simon.
Simon sarcastic sense of humour added lots fun to the course.
Simon also took a serious approach & focus in our safety which made the course a lot more comfortable.
I felt safe, had lots of fun & even found a way to stay warmer in between dives - by pouring hot water into my wet suit!
Thanks Simon & all the crew at Perth Scuba & the Blue Destiny - will be back for more adventures !
Across the 3 days of training and dives my confidence grew because of my instructor Lian! Her biggest attributes were her patience and bright personality!
She gives equal attention to each and every one of her students and if you are worried, struggling or stressed, she will be able to calm you down in the sea.
If you're looking for an instructor to complete your open water course so that you can travel around the world and see the underwater world, look no further just contact Perth Scuba and ask for Lian, you will not regret making such a choice!
Have fun diving! ✌🏻✌🏻
Special thanks too Simon F.

First of all, it felt like it was more about marketing than anything else (I know I wasn't the only one to feel this way in the team), and definitely the only thing that was in the manager's mind. When I arrived I was informed that I needed to buy some extra gear for about 200AUD on the top of the 700AUD I had already spent for the course. The gear, that we barely used, was very conveniently not provided and not for hire. It is indeed written on the bottom of the age on the website, so I was partly at fault, but it is very unclear, and when I read other comments I realize I'm not the only one to have misunderstood.
During the course we had to carry all our gear around ourselves, including the tanks, which as you can imagine is very inconvenient, especially when you don't have a car like myself, as I was visiting Perth.
Our dive instructor really didn't seem to actually give a damn - it felt like he just wanted to get the job done and dusted, without really listening, observing and adapting to our personal needs. I understand that it is a job, but diving still remains a sport that can go wrong and I have to say I didn't feel safe with our instructor. On the top of that it was messy because he had to look after two age groups amongst the students, which means that at time he couldn't handle focusing on all of the students.
There was a particular event that really frustrated me: I had a rather serious problem during the deep dive. I'm still fairly new to diving, so I'm still learning and adapting my method. After the dive I tried to talk to the instructor about it, thinking that we would brainstorm about what went wrong, and what could have been done better to avoid this situation again. Instead he said nothing, turned around and moved on to the next point with the team. Not only didn't he say anything but he didn't seem to care the least, didn't show any concern and/or compassion. Great for a dive instructor hey! When this problem even costed me to not being able to complete the dive, and therefore not complete the course.
I don't mean to blame the whole team of Scuba Perth, it wouldn't be fair and I did talk to a few members who seemed more onto it and with whom I had a pleasant exchange.
But if I had the choice, I wouldn't do it again with Scuba Perth.
PS: It's been nearly a month and the dive instructor still didn't verify and confirm the dives on my PADI app.

Simon was our instructor for the dives and he was awesome, Nathan was there for the pool skills and he was great too!

I would happily do further courses under Simon's tutelage.
As for the shop, the staff are very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable in all things diving.

Lunch was a total feast - a buffet filled with delicious options taking care of any specific dietary needs without a hitch. Overall, diving with Perth Scuba was an epic adventure paired with amazing food , good rental equipment, professional staff and Barbara as a fantastic guide. Highly recommend it!

Elia and Estefany
I want to say that everyone there has been so helpful and it's been a great experience training and shopping with them.
All of the staff were really helpful and went out of their way, staying back and getting me get my new kit sorted out.
My dive instructor Nathan was excellent, calm and confident, very helpful. He really inspires confidence.

Simon is one of the most experienced instructor in Australia and you can really tell. I am grateful to have had him and his sense of humor is the best.
Mina is a ray of sunshine, you feel like you are being guided by a personal friend only a few minutes after meeting her.
I had such a great time, thank you to all the team! Any brief talk with the staff was a pleasure.

,must go for Simon, the"dinosaur" really experienced instructor! responsible, funny and strict,he will make sure you learn everything properly and safely!

She was very patient with us and was happy to explain things several times with us over a number of days.
Would have no problems recommending them.

absolutely fell in love with under the sea
highly recommend this organisation to other newbie scuba divers

We had the course in Bicton Bath Swan River Site.

I felt very well supported at all times and we got on very well with our instructors and all of the Perth scuba staff.
The dive in Rottnest really was a highlight and a once in a lifetime dive experience!!
Couldn't recommend highly enough

My open water dive took me a little over a month to complete as I had to tackle it in seperate sessions. The team at Perth scuba were awesome with helping me figure out the best way to complete the cert in a way that was easy to overcome some of the challenges I had. Shout out to my instructor Chris who was supper supportive and did a dedicated session with me to make sure I was comfortable diving. Kudos to the Perth scuba shop team who helped me plan out the best way to complete the cert and decked me out in all the warm gear! Lastly to Simon who instructed us at rotto- thanks for being our diving lead, even though keeping our group together was apparently ‘like herding cats’

Felt nervous on first day and panicked a little when first underwater. Our instructor Simon, was great. Quick chat at the surface, straight to the point, yet comforting.
Couldn't thank him enough for a course that was set out easily. We knew what was required to be independent and also as a group.
Great bunch of people to dive with, a couple of young teenagers who were very comfortable with us older first divers. Simon was able to talk to all involved, both young and not so young.
Could not fault the course itself or Simon as the instructor. To finish the weekend off with a trip on the Blue Dynasty to rottnest, great crew, great dive spots and all inclusive.
Go see the guys at Perth Scuba and enjoy the world in the ocean.
Chris is an amazing instructor, very patient and knowledgeable.
The whole team were super helpful in suggesting and fitting gear as well.
Rottnest Island dives were absolutely stunning and will be going back soon.
Rockingham wreck trail was unfortunately very poor visibility, however, I was glad I had some exposure to this sort of dive as well.
Overall, would very much recommend diving and getting certified through Perth Scuba.
Thank you Perth Scuba ????????????????????????????
