Amazing service and wines, with magnificent views ! The service from Collette over the phone was accommodating and flexible.

On arrival, and from the outset the view was amazing and the service was exceptional.

My wife, daughter and I were assigned Rachel as our host, who was both knowledgable and super friendly.

We were ushered to a wonderful outside table with magnificent views of the Brokenback Ranges, valley and vineyards.

Having just subscribed to their membership, we wanted to taste the previous Marsh Estate wines which are now included.

We were taken through a full range of white and reds as well as some of the reserve wines that did not disappoint.

We had a wonderful wine tasting experience here. The staff were very friendly and welcoming—despite us arriving without a reservation, they kindly offered to seat us. The semillon was especially good, and the staff were extremely generous, offering us more than the standard tasting. We enjoyed it so much that we ended up purchasing a bottle to take home.

Hamish was a fantastic and engaging host for our wine tasting, the surrounds are beautiful, and all the little extras and treats really added up and made it feel special. We had a booked wine tasting for 9 at Audrey Wilkinson Winery (1 of my favourites) early August. It was a Saturday, so extremely busy, however we were looked after by Robyn. Robyn, you made our day! Thank you for your knowledge & expertise on the wines & the history of the winery. Your personality & understanding of how to read the group did not go unnoticed. I would say the best host of the day after visiting several other wineries. The personal touch of a bottle of wine as we left for us to celebrate several birthdays was greatly appreciated. Outstanding Service, Great Wines & A Winery You Won’t Want to Leave We visited Audrey Wilkinson Winery for a Tourism NSW famil and for me it was truly a highlight of our trip. Chalk and cheese compared to other stops (and yes—we did get cheese!).

The service was outstanding, Sean was incredibly knowledgeable, personable, and made the experience fun with just the right amount of humour. His expertise really brought the wines to life, and the tasting itself was filled with variety of whites and lovely reds which are my fav, fortified wines, and more - bubbly red OMG what a life changer! I certainly found a few that were “my jam” and happily purchased to take home.

Beyond the tasting, the winery offers some really special experiences that I would love to come back and try. It’s the kind of place where you could easily spend hours just enjoying the views, the wines, and the conversation, we didn't want to leave.

Excellent experience The Picnic and master tasting wine class were really good fun. The picnic was very good , a hamper with nibbles and a bottle of wine and glasses to keep. A lovey relaxed way to enjoy some food and wine . Beautiful views .

The view at Audrey Wilkinson is absolutely stunning, with one of the best vineyard outlooks in the Hunter Valley. It’s the perfect spot to sit back, relax, and enjoy the beautiful scenery. The wines are of good quality, especially the Semillon and Shiraz, which showcase the character of the region very well.

However, the service was just average. While everything went smoothly, it lacked the warmth and attentiveness that would have made the experience truly exceptional. Overall, it’s still a great place to visit for the atmosphere and wine, but the service could be improved to match the high quality of the setting.

Absolutely beautiful place! Went with my husband on a group tour of Hunter valley in May 2025. Such a stunning location and loved trying different flavoured wines. I am not a big wine drinker but have a big appreciation for this winery. Lovely spot to visit with your partner, friends and family 😊.

A very pleasant time at Audrey Wilkinson Vineyard! We did the Heritage Cellar Experience, very well worth the price and they even gave us extra dessert wines for tasting. Although we went in the winter time and the vineyards were dry, but it was still very scenic, kangaroos were hopping throughout the fields. Great experience!

Uneventful visit Nothing extraordinary nor eventful in this visit. So not much to write that resonate with any expression and impression.

We will definitely do this again. The master class was fun and informative. The picnic was gorgeous. Tasty wine and delicious food. The views were breathtaking.

This will always be my favourite Hunter Winery. Such a pretty location rich with history. We booked the cheese and wine pairing experience. From the moment we were greeted on arrival with a glass of sparkling rose, to being introduced to the bubbly and friendly Robyn, we felt very appreciated and special. Lovely wines together with a very special bottle of fortified wine ro take home, which was sampled directly from the barrel. This was an exquisite visit and highly recommend this activity for the staff, location, wines, cheese and ambience. Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Beautiful views, amazing wines, welcoming staff We had a fantastic wine tasting at this beautiful vineyard. The views are spectacular and the wines are amazing. Ella hosted our tasting and was extremely knowledgeable and very welcoming. Our two children enjoyed running around on the grass outside. A must-visit Hunter Valley vineyard!

We celebrated our birthday on the weekend with a picnic at Audrey Wilkinson. We were welcomed with such friendly staff, notably Jade who hosted our wine tasting. We had an amazing time with great choices of wine, and with a complimentary wine bottle of our choice. We had a lovely picnic with an immaculate view (especially during the sunset). We also really appreciated the time to learn the history of the Vineyard and of Audrey Wilkinson.

Our host Jade was amazing, funny and accomodating and we truly appreciated her company. She stayed back past closing time until we finished our picnic. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the Hunter, and specifically asked for Jade.

Affordable, beautiful and friendly Beautiful location, gorgeous building but it’s the friendly knowledgeable staff and lovely wines (get the cheese platter) that makes this place a perfect visit. We paid $20 each for 7 wines. It felt like a lovely afternoon and would definitely recommend

Spent an absolutely beautiful morning at Audrey Wilkinson's. Our experience was made even more enjoyable with Eme doing our tastings. Her knowledge and professionalism was exceptional. Picnic lunch was delicious and the views spectacular.

This was our last stop in the Hunter. I wish we found it early as there was no time to do a tasting. However we purchased bottle and found a spot under the trees.
You can picnic around the grounds, with a cheese plate for $40.
The day was prefect sitting on the grass enjoying the most delicious Mascato.

Perfect Picnic Location We had an absolutely super time at Audrey Wilkinson Vineyard! We booked the 3pm Picnic among the vines package for 2 that included a brief history of the area, a wine tasting followed by a picnic in the vines and it was brilliant. We were warmly welcomed by Brian with a glass a fizz, then Rachel introduced us to the Audrey Wilkinson Vineyard and conducted an excellent wine tasting, we then choose our favourite wine to accompany our picnic to enjoy overlooking the stunning vines. 100% recommend this experience.

Underwhelming experience The setting and views at the winery were stunning, but unfortunately, our experience with the premium wine tasting left much to be desired. Despite paying for what was advertised as premium experience, we couldn't help but feel envious of the energy and enjoyment we saw in the other tours in the cellar door.

Our guide was inexperienced and lacked confidence, often mumbling during explanations and failing to respond when asked to repeat herself. She showed little enthusiasm and essentially left us to rely on the laminated tasting notes in front of us. I had been really looking forward to this tour as a fan of Audrey Wilkinson wines, but the lack of engagement and poor service made the entire experience feel disappointing. There was no discussion about the history of the winery, no opportunity to ask questions, and no personalised interaction.

At the end of the session, we were left sitting without even being asked if we were interested in purchasing any bottles. We were handed the picnic with no information and told to go outside. The information provided by the staff was identical to what was already on the laminated page, making the entire tour feel redundant and impersonal. For a premium-priced service, it felt like we received minimal value.

While the picnic that followed was lovely, the overall disappointment of the wine tasting left a negative impression, and we left sooner than expected. It was an underwhelming experience that didn’t live up to the reputation of the winery.

My perfect marriage proposal 😍 The staff were amazing!! So attentive, I proposed to my partner at the Premium picnic and wine tasting.
The staff helped every step of the way, setup the picnic so beautifully and helped my sister sneak in with my pup and 10 month old for the big surprise.
Couldn’t have asked for a better day and the wines are beautiful!

Engagement They Staff at Audrey are amazing and so warm welcoming. The views are great, and it is really a great spot for any special occasion. From wine tastings to getting engaged was really an amazing experience at Audrey Wilkinson.

Great tasting high on the hill We had a booked tasting and purchased a cheese plate to share. The three white and three reds presented were all good with two being only available at the winery.

The winery is perched on a hill and has O think the best entry and viewing position in all of the Hunter Valley. Well worth a visit.

We were gifted the wine and wildlife experience. From the time we pulled up to the car park after a beautiful drive we were met at the door by a friendly staff member who showed us the way to be seated. Then greeted by another staff member who went through the wines with us and a good chat. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. We had a lovely cheese platter with local produce. Would highly recommend a day at Audrey Wilkinson any day of the week. Thank you.

Perfect Weekend at Mulberry Cottage What a beautiful weekend and experience we had at Audrey Wilkinson. This is my absolute favourite winery and have visited many times, always wanting to come stay for a weekend. Well, that just happened and from booking to ending - everything was perfect. We are a group of 7 friends and booked direct with AW. Jess & the team could not have been more welcoming and helpful with my queries and requests. We stayed at the Mulberry Cottage and it was perfect. All 4 bedrooms have their own ensuite and there’s an additional WC. The kitchen is enormous and well stocked and on arrival we were provided with a huge breakfast basket of eggs, bacon, milk, juice, yoghurt, butter, jam, bread .and a bottle of wine. Plus another bonus from booking direct with AW - we were all given a premium wine tasting experience which we did in late on our final afternoon. We had the adorable & entertaining Emerson as our wine tasting expert and she filled our heads with AW knowledge and also gave us all a great laugh and a wonderful ending to our weekend at AW. Back to the cottage - it also had a working fire place (which we used) and the property was comfortable, private, clean, inviting & wifi. Plus under cover parking and our friend was easily able to charge up his EV. The closest cottage to us was far enough away for us to enjoy ourselves and feel perfectly private. There is nothing I would change - only I wished I’d visited sooner. I’ll certainly be coming back and will only ever book direct with AW - apart from the ‘extras’ - it was cheaper to book direct. We had Hamish for our wine tasting, he was just wonderful! All the wine was delicious, our favourite was the Malbec, the Chardonnay and the Muscat. Hamish was knowledgeable and just lovely. He really made the experience for us. Being first time parents with a toddler we were humbled by our welcome here. Highly recommend!

Just a wonderful experience. We booked directly with Audrey Wilkinson and could not have been happier with their friendly, thorough service. The house is ideal for 4 couples with a fantastic view over the vineyards. The verandah offers a sunny spot whatever time of day. The mattresses are a bit firm but we all understood that you can’t have everything. Highly recommend this accomodation for any Hunter stay.

A gorgeous place to be proposed to… I came expecting a wine tasting and a small picnic and left with a ring.

The setting was beautiful. Located on a hilltop the elegant winery has a picturesque view of the surrounding vines. The team thoughtfully decorated a private balcony with cushions, rugs, and flowers (and kept the whole thing a secret from me until my fiancé was ready to pop the question). This all took place in the rain, but we were well protected from the weather - they had thought of everything!

The picnic and wines were lovely, but the standout was our guide who made us feel right at home. I can’t recommend them highly enough!

Great winery for tasting trip We dropped in on this winery on the off chance of a tasting. The 360 degree views of the hunter valley are amazing.
We were accommodated without a booking (visiting now and not summer), the sommelier was very knowledgable and we tried 7 wines for $10
The wines were lovely and all at competitive prices for this region.
A great 45 mins.
There’s a small on site museum giving the history behind this winery.

Audrey Wilkinson Standard Tasting Jack was very friendly and gave us a great wine tasting experience. The wines tasted absoluely delicious as well. I’ll definitely go back for more.

Poor customer service The view is amazing but wine tasting experience is not the best. Service staff are not very happy to spend energy to introduce or discuss more with our group.

Fabulous Wine Tasting & Gourmet Picnic Experience! We were welcomed with a glass of Blanc de Blanc bubbles (delicious). Then the wine tasting with Zoe was informative, relaxed and thoroughly enjoyable.
Our gourmet picnic, which we enjoyed overlooking some of the vineyard, was also sumptuous and delicious.
This was a great way to celebrate our 30 - 34th Wedding Anniversaries!

The views here are beautiful and the cellar door well presented with a museum included.

I had a mixed tasting or reds and wines. They really do great wines here. My server was informative in the explanation of the various wines.

Extremely rude Floor Manager, didn't care about my gluten allergy and we were ignored by him The Floor Manager clearly couldn't care less about me and my husband. I pre-orered a gluten free cheese latter, when it was brought over by a young lady I double checked it was gluten free crackers, she checked with the Floor Manager who said "we don't have any gf crackers". I overheard, and advised her I pre-ordered a gf option, to which she relayed to him, and he turned around and ignored her, and myself.
Other than him, we had a lovely Wine Advisor called Ali, who was amazing and made our experience lift up, great sense of humour and you could tell Ali loved what they did for work.
Views were pretty. But we won't be going back to Audrey Wilkenson Vineyard.

We booked for the seated wine tasting for 3 adult and my 2 children (happily sitting and watch us drink ????). Jack served us and he was absolutely wonderful! We told him we are the beginners for wine, he took his time to explain to us, sharing a lot of interesting facts and insight view of the wine industry. We are really happy with the tasting too. The Verdelho took us by surprise! And the dessert wine was so pleasantly sweet with a hint of lychee scent, it is a must to grab! All in all the place are beautiful, atmosphere are awesome, the venue has a museum which you can read up more about this place, the staffs are friendly and knowledgeable. It was a wonderful experience.

Had an amazing experience here with the boys today. The wines were delicious and the location was even better. The best part about our experience here, was the warm service - jack was a ton of laughs and made sure we tasted the wines that we would love. Absolute top bloke and we will definitely be back!

I like Audrey Wilkinson wines and was most keen on exploring the "Winemakers" selection as I cannot get elsewhere.

On arrival for wine tasting I was told that I needed to wait 15 mins for space. So we took in the great views and a quick look around the history/ museum part and sure enough it passed quickly.

Tasting was fantastic, all wines were well explained and I got to try a few vintage wines not on the tasting list.

Left a very happy chappy with a nice mixed dozen and now a wine member.

We didn’t stay at the hotel but came for the premium wine experience and picnic.
The tasting ended up to be my husband and I only, which was nice!
Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. After that we found a nice shaded place to have our picnic, it came with a big lunch (charcuterie and baguettes) and a bottle of wine of our choosing.

Had a great time wine tasting with my girlfriend. We were looked after by Meg and Harry who were really knowledgeable and seemed genuinely interested in getting us wine which favours our preferences. The view is amazing and we ended up buying a couple of bottles too - cheers guys!

While we did not stay at Audrey Wilkinson, we came here for their premium wine tasting tour, and purchased some wines! We did not have any prior bookings, and did a walk in. As wine novice, the service staff teaching us about the wines was also very informative and helpful. We ended our day walking around the premises, and this is such a lovely place to be in! Safe to say that Audrey Wilkinson has one of the largest vineyards, perfect for a picnic and a day out.
