Visited as a group of 5 friends and had an absolutely amazing time! Bronwyn was so lovely and informative during our tasting and the build your own platter was so fun! We ended up spending much more time here than we planned because we were having such a nice time sitting out by the fire and the vines (with blankets provided!). The wines we tasted were our favourite from the whole day and picking them up the next day was very easy!

Beautiful venue in a beautiful location, visited the cellar with my sister and we were not disappointed. The staff are friendly and very knowledgeable. Wines are delicious and the choice of snacks for platter are excellent.

Really lovely, family run, Australian owned vineyard. Maria was our sommelier for our wine tasting and she was fantastic! So knowledgeable, friendly and smiley. Delicious wines and you can pick and mix your own platter. Highly recommend. We cycled along the rail trail to get there.

The staff here were fantastic, the build your own platter is such a great idea and the wines were beautiful. All of that coupled with a great cellar door and surrounds made for a very enjoyable experience. One of our favourite wineries. This is a must visit while in the area.

One of the best in Coonawarra One of the best Lunchtime platters we have had. A choice of around 30 individual items allows you to build your own platter, based on what you like, rather than what winery wants to give you. Superb.
The tasting ($10) refundable on purchase of 1 bottle of your choice, consists of your choice of around 15 different wines. Great wines at good prices.
Nearby wineries charge $30 for platter of just two cheeses and $30 for tasting. Only refundable if you buy 2 bottles per tasting.
High recommended for quality, service, price and ambience.

Some Wine Gems We were the only ones there on a cold and quiet Saturday morning. This gave us ample time to meander through a tasting list. The winery was very flexible with what we could taste and sharing between the three of us.

Well informed and friendly staff and a cosy escape from the weather. Would be great to be there on a better day and take advantage of the outdoor seating and garden but it was kind of good to be able to look out in comfort.

Fantastic winery....they do a great platter that you can choose items and the put together with excellent presentation. This coupled with a beautiful selection of wines and great service. I always drop in when I'm in the area. Not to be missed! Wines are also very reasonably priced and they make some beautiful ports.

Winery de jour By far my fave winery of the day. As a sparkling drinker, it was great to see a few different varieties on their line up. Wines were delicious and were on special when we visited. The grounds are gorgeous and would be a lovely way to spend an afternoon just enjoying the drop.Highly recommend!!!

Worth the trip for the food, wine and staff!! What a beautiful location and fabulous food and staff. I went there for one of my most favourite sparkling wines. Didn't disappoint!

We had a wonderful experience at the cellar door with Roslyn. She was very knowledgeable and informative. Learned a lot about the grape growing conditions and preferences. The wines were great and their port(fortified wine) was a real shocker! I was very impressed, well made! Together with Wynns our favourite wines and winery visit in the region!

Kid friendly winery One of the best wineries to visit in area if you have kids with you due to friendly owners, large grassed areas and activities available. The staff are knowledgeable and helpful. The wines are delicious. Must see winery in area

A diamond in the Coonawarra! What a beautiful location with fabulously friendly staff. Best of all it’s dog friendly. The food and wines are delicious and we could have spent all day there. Thank you to Aztec for making us feel so welcome, especially our little dog, Ruby!

What a great experience! The lawned area was great, the service was excellent and you even pick your own cheese for the platters. The atmosphere is amazing and the wine is phenomenal. I'm not a local but DiGiorgio is first on my list when I come back!

A wonderful experience! We came with our two young kids, we were greeted outside the building with the most friendly woman, she immediately clicked with the kids and got them toys and set them up on the lawn so us adults could enjoy some tasting. We felt so relaxed and happy, we just thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The wine is sensational, we took some home with us, love the history and that the owners still frequent the place. A real family business, with bubbly, fun and enthusiastic staff. A must visit if you have little ones.

Lazy sunny afternoon filled with joy Free camping at Greenrise Lake at Penola and decided to visit a couple of wineries in the region. Second planned stop (of 4) was at Di Giorgios. Needless to say we didn't get to the other wineries. This place was so friendly and welcoming. Aztec our "host" was wonderful, informative and nothing was too much trouble. (We had 2 small doggies with us) Sat outside in the beautiful garden and Aztec kept bringing us more wines to taste. We finished up buying more than planned. The day was topped of with a beautifully prepared platter. The Di Giorgios should be proud of what they've done and their staff. We will be back when next we are in the area

Nice Wines We really enjoyed the wines at DiGeorgio Family winery. We especially rated their Cabernet Sauvignon, fortified and Sparkling.

The grounds were beautiful and we were hosted by a knowledgeable staff member. This winery is part of the “walking tour”.

Wonderful all round experience! My partner and myself had a quick last minute getaway to Coonawarra. We weren't really sure what to expect, but we had a blast! One of the highlights was visiting DiGiorgio, just off of the walking track from our accommodation. There we found not only delicious wines but fantastic service. Aztec, the sommelier, was not only knowledgeable but hilarious! She made our experience that much more brighter. She definitely went the extra mile and is quite the assert to the family owned winery. We will return, with more friends next time!

Friendly and welcoming family owned winery. The tasting room is small but the staff were very accommodating to our large group. We sat inside due to the rainy weather but they have many picnic tables just in front of the vines. We visited during the week so we had the place all to ourselves. The tastings were were very generous and affordable. They make really lovely and affordable wine. Highly recommend the visit and stay for the afternoon.

Walking wine tour We started a walking tour of a few wineries in the Coonaarra, we started here with the view to move on to the next in 30 minutes. Let me tell you the service was so good that we were there for well over an hour and if it wasnt for the fact that we had to go to our lunch booking we may still be sitting there now. I wish I could remember the girls name who served us, but she was incredible, super friendly and very knowledgable, to the pint of pointing us to anothe rwinery to try a wine that they didnt have.
I would highly reccomend visiting Di Giorgio wines for lunch and an afternoon visit, but remember to book in the warmer months as they will be very busy.
Oh, their wine is fantastic to boot.

Disappointed We were so disappointed by the customer service that we left. We were rushed, and pretty much pushed to the side. The same message could have been related with much more tact. So unimpressed that we would not buy the wine on principal of the service. International family were going to purchase wine to take back overseas but we didn’t even get to have the tasting properly at all, so disappointed

Really nice outdoor area. We had our dog with us and she had a great time! She found a tennis ball straight away :) We ordered one of the build your own platter and it was delicious. Had a local Cab Sav with the platter, ended up buying some bottles as it was very smooth. Lovely way to pass an hour on an Autumn's day.

A lovely winery in a beautiful setting and atmosphere, with friendly and chatty staff who really know their stuff!!
We had a lovely time at our informal tasting, and our group loved the fact that you can build your own cheese grazing board.

We enjoyed a lovely afternoon in the sun at DiGiorgio. Friendly service, wine and food all 10/10. We loved the ‘choose your own platter’, which was then put together on a plate beautifully, as well as being able to choose which wines to taste and enjoying them at our own pace, all whilst taking in the gorgeous garden view outside. Recommend!

Great Day out! With so many well known named wineries within the area it is hard just to know where to go! Being a Saturday we concentrated on those offering food and we were more than rapt with our choice of this Winery. On offer was a tasting tray of 6 wines that we could select from a list and also there was a variety of foods, pates, terrines, relish, crusty bread, cheeses, and a trio of meats that were arranged on a platter for us to share with friends. It was the perfect way to sit back and relax in the shade of an umbrella and not only enjoy the food, but a bottle of wine which we purchased after our tasting. The three staff were excellent, friendly and knowledgeable! A Great day out so pleased we chose this Winery!

Small tasting room but large outdoor seated/ table tasting area. Large lawn area with some umbrellas and benches. You pick any 6 wines from the list and it’s brought to you on a long paddle board. Friendly service.
Perfect place to “create your own” picnic. They have a large self cheeses and condiments, bread& crackers , and refreshments.
Loved their special release tawny port.
