A wonderful walking experience with Park Trek in the magnificent wilds of Tasmania This was a wonderful 4 day walking experience in Tasmania.

When I signed up for the walk, I thought the price was very reasonable and I appreciated the fact that there would be a limit of 10 participants.
I thought the tour was well organized and I felt very confident with, and comfortable to be in the hands of, our 2 guides who were experienced, welcoming, knowledgeable and very approachable.

The meals were healthy, creative and very tasty. As I am a vegetarian, that was really something and not so easy to do on this kind of tour.

The walking itself was in a magnificent area, in a place where I certainly would not have been able to venture on my own. I enjoyed the company of all the other participants who were friendly and interesting.

I also appreciated having the chance to speak directly with the tour organiser prior to the tour, regarding some questions I had about certain aspects, such as footwear etc.
In summary, I can unreservedly recommend Park Trek as a touring company in whom one can have complete confidence in their ability to provide the participant with a wonderful, well organized walking adventure

Trekking with camels through the Flinders Ranges was an experience I’ll never forget. Trekking with camels through the Flinders Ranges was an experience I’ll never forget. Our guide, Ryan, really knew his stuff—not just about the camels, but the local history, geology, astronomy, and wildlife.
We helped to prep and load the camels every morning, it didn't take long to start noticing who the characters were.
The daily hikes weren't too intense as the camels don’t walk that fast, though we were walking in rocky creek beds and some damp weather.
When we arrived at our camping spot, we'd roll out the swags, gather firewood, then settle down around the campfire, and watch Ryan (our tour leader) cook up a feast.
I highly recommend this trip if you're looking for something out of the ordinary.

Bruny Island - the Gem of Tasmania Loved the walks even though I was unable to complete any of them due to my ability over rocks. Lots of beautiful scenery.
I thought the accommodation was not up to the amount asked for the tour.
Length of tour was 4 days.
The atmosphere amongst the 6 participants and 2 tour guides was very pleasant and helpful when needed.
The staff of two was the most pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable people who were very well trained in their positions as leaders, chefs, first aiders (wonderful), drivers etc .
and made our stay extremely satisfying and welcome.
The Bruny Island tour would be better for some people who are more physically fit than I turned out to be, even though I was able to do most of it. Wonderful.

A perfect hike for all levels This trip is perfect for hikers of all levels, with a mix of challenging and easy sections. Each walk showcases a unique part of the bush, and the guides ensures everyone's abilities are catered to whilst making the trip engaging and fun. The accommodation and food are excellent .

Park Trek takayna/Tarkine tour Park Trek's takayna tour was fantastic - breathtaking scenery, great guides, tasty food. What a place! I'd highly recommend visiting the region and doing it with Park Trek.

Fabulous Bay of Fires What a wonderful experience this tour was. The scenery was magnificent and we were blessed with beautiful weather for most of the four days. Our guides, Andy and Morgan (our guides) were the best. They were very knowledgeable and worked respectfully together to ensure the group had the best experience possible. The food was simple, well prepared and very nourishing. It was a great way to connect with nature and challenge myself. I loved every moment and created many special memories. I would highly recommend this tour.

Three Capes Adventure with Auswalk Walking Holidays. We recently enjoyed Auswalks Three Capes, Tasman Peninsula and Port Arthur adventure. All of our transporters to and from each walk as well as to and from Port Arthur (Jillian, Theresa & Phillip, Carmel) were excellent. Our walks were pack free since we were staying at Stewart's Bay Lodge which was included in our walk. The meals and restaurant service was very good ~ we especially appreciate the servers whose smiles warmed us up on chilly mornings and evenings. The navigation app was very helpful as we navigated the amazing Tasman Peninsula. The landscape was stunning and the views were outstanding. We chose the opportunity to take the Wilderness Cruise to Cape Pillar, a 3 hour cruise with views of the stunning coastline between Port Arthur and Eaglehawk Neck. We also spent time visiting Port Arthur Historic penal colony. Auswalk team was professional and thorough. We highly recommend Auswalk for any walking holiday.

Amazing trip in the Tasman Peninsula with Parktrek I recently completed a 4 day trip in the Tasman Peninsula with Parktrek, and I had a wonderful time! The guides Bronte and Claire were lovely, enthusiastic and very accommodating. The walking was spectacular, and we also went on an enjoyable 3 hour cruise, which gave a completely different perspective. The accommodation was very comfortable and in a great location. The food was delicious! Thank you!

Well looked after in a scenic set of walks at Mt Buffalo Our walk was called the Victorian Alps Highlights. It went for 4 days, departing from and returning to Melbourne.

We had a wonderful set of walks in the Mt Buffalo National Park. The views and the scenery were great, and the walks were well planned, and generally of moderate grade. Our guides looked after us very well and provided us with delicious meals.

We stayed in the nearby town of Bright which is a lovely destination in its own right.

Unforgettable and breathtaking experience. I highly recommend this tour. It is great value for all it includes. I am in my early 70's and am of medium fitness so the 3rd day of walking was very tough. Just saying. However the others in my group seemed to manage better than I. The guides were very professional, highly responsible and capable. They were fun, enthusiastic and informative without being over bearing. The atmosphere they facilitated with the group of 10, was convivial and supportive. The food they prepared was delicious, healthy and real and included chocolate on the walks (haha)

Excellent tour Guides were knowledgeable and friendly without being pushy. Accommodation was clean, comfortable and the right temperature. The walks were varied. The food was varied and delicious. Vegetarians and meat eaters were well catered for. Well worn in boots, a waterproof jacket and a pole or two are essential.

We just can’t say enough about our Three Capes Walk. Charles, the office staff and our guides Sarah and Claire were all professional, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The food provided was equally as good as the views. All dietary needs were met, and we’ll never forget that yummy lasagna!
The accommodation was also special in its waterfront-wooded location. Its setting added a magical element to the trip.

Great way to experience some of the walks and towns of the Victorian goldfields region. Great tour to walk and explore the Goldfields region of Victoria. Excellent guides, food and accommodation.

The 4-day Bay of Fires walk was fantastic. Awesome scenery, a good mix of walking environments, and the distances were moderately challenging without being excessive. The guides were great & also good cooks. Really good accommodation, even better than I expected.

Park Trek Snowy Hike - A beautiful walk allowing you to reconnect with nature under the care of professional guides. After completing the 4 day Snowy Mountains walk with Park Trek I can honestly say I will be hiking with Park Trek again. The guides were professional, well educated on the region and ensured all participants had a lovely time. The accommodation was clean and comfortable and the food provided was well prepared, tasty and catered for all dietary requirements. The trails were interesting, challenging and pictureque. Park trek delivered beautifully. The two guides were so professional and ensured that each of us were well cared and catered for. Their personal touches added real value. The tracks were good and we were able to complete them all injury free and with energy to spare. The food was superb and the two eating out occasions were at lovey venues which catered for everyone’s tastes. Overall I met some wonderful people and saw tremendous country side and I had the best time.

An excellent walking trip to the Cradle Mountain National Park Top trip with excellent guide plus group of 6 guests for a 4 day trip.

Spectacular walk in the Tassie wilderness The Tarkine wilderness walk in Tasmania hosted by Park Trek is very diverse with lush rainforest, waterfalls, windswept coastline, specular mountain top views, and a river cruise. It is challenging at times, especially the uphill bits, but very achievable by anyone with moderate fitness. It's certainly a very rewarding thing to do and is a great way to see this pristine unspoilt part of the world knowing that you are in the safe hands of expert guides. The accommodations at Tullah Lodge and Corinna are fantastic too with spacious, comfortable rooms. Dining options at both are great too, especially at Corinna where the staff are very helpful and friendly and the food fantastic.

Breath taking views of the Three Capes Beautiful experience doing the Three Capes walking holiday with Park Trek. The guides set a great tempo for the walks, with a good amount of stops, so that one could breath in the fresh air and appreciate the views, but not too many, so you could get your momentum. Great group of people to walk with, and easy social interactions and experiences which made the group travel along well.

Must do Bucket list Sometimes when you finally get to do a trip which was one your must do it fall short of your expectations. Not Park Trek. They exceed my expectations and more.
Everything was taken care of. The walk covered all the highlights with a good mix of challenges and easier days
After a long day on the track it was wonderful to be picked up and transported back to accomodation, which suited the ambiance of the area, to be served fresh delicious food by our supportive caring guides

Fun trekking with Park Trek on the rooftop of Oz Two experienced and very professional guides led our group of 8 on our 4 days trekking in the Snowy Mountains, with overnight accommodation at a comfortable Thredbo lodge. Our random grouping of walkers gelled into a happy and sociable party - all fit and healthy with no dawdlers. Leadership provided by our guides was excellent and empathetic. Return transport between Canberra and Thredbo - and each day out to and returning from the days trail was hassle-free by minibus. Catering provided by our guides was excellent quality with generous servings.

Weather conditions experienced on our 2nd day were challenging with gale force winds and a few light showers, but this day on the trail was a lot of fun requiring bare foot crossings of very cold small rivers, and traversing areas where thick snow had drifted across the track. The going was never dangerous and the scenery spectacular.

Our 3rd days objective in windy but fine walking conditions was to the summit of Mt Kosciusko - for me the highlight of the trip, again requiring walking across some sections of snow covered track - walking poles of great assistance. The 2 shorter half day walks (on 1st and last day of the trip) both below the tree line amongst Snow Gums were both delightful and a good contrast to the 2 full day alpine treks. To summarise: I thoroughly enjoyed and recommend this mini adventure.

All sorts of weather sun, snow, wind, rain, but all great. The gradings were exactly as described. Enough of a challenge without being too hard. Park Trek guides are professional, knowledgeable and awesome. The accommodation and food was outstanding. Brilliant four days!

Pack free Three Capes Walk My original booking was for the Cradle Mountain trip, but as numbers weren’t met, I transferred to the Three Capes walk.
The Three Capes trip was great, Andrea was a great tour leader and lead our walks, drove the minibus and ensured we were fed and watered!
The walks were beautiful and Andrea shared her knowledge of the geology, fauna and flora which added to the trip.

The Beautiful Tarkine A wonderful way to visit the Tarkine Wilderness area is with Park Trek. The guides Matt and Oscar were capable, knowledgeable and experienced which allowed us to enjoy each day while they seamlessly managed the logistics. I loved our comfortable little cottage “Louise Lovely” at Corinna and could have stayed longer. The food prepared by our guides was wholesome, plentiful and delicious. They catered well to the vegetarians in the group. This is my second adventure with Park Trek and I am keen to go again. We must all see the Tarkine before it disappears from logging and mining. This precious and unique wilderness area must be protected and given National Park status before it is lost forever.

Great Ocean Walk breathtaking views, well organised A really enjoyable holiday including a small group of 6 travellers plus 2 guides who couldn't have been more helpful. It was well organised and the walking levels as described in the trip notes. We walked through very varied countryside and the coastal views were breathtaking. The accommodation was comfortable and the food good.

Days in Daylesford The tour to Daylesford exceeded my expectations. The guides, Bianca & Curtis, were knowledgeable in the local history as well as skilled in the kitchen preparing our meals. Our accommodation was very comfortable. Just a great few days walking in nature & history, so relaxing.

Three Capes Adventure A nice way to experience the Three Capes & Tasman Peninsula staying in accommodation nearby. We enjoyed the beauty of the Three Capes and did the walk with a light day pack, not having to carry a full pack which is required if you are staying in the huts. The guides were very knowledge and helpful which made for a very special experience.

Great experience with stunning nature walks on Kangaroo Island. It was great organised walking tour of Kangaroo Island with other activities to fill in the time after or before our walk for the day. The guides were very helpful and knowledgeable with a great attitude to all our members.

Guided Walk Our group of ladies had a great time- great walk, excellent guides and awesome food which we didn't have to cook ourselves.

Flinders and Beyond Camel Trek Trekking with camels in the Flinders Ranges was a unique and memorable experience. The cameleer, Ryan, was extremely knowledgeable on camels as well as the geology, astronomy, flora and fauna of the area. Each day we were able to participate in preparing the camels for the day and soon discovered their individual personalities.
The daily walking was relatively easy with challenges over some rocky surfaces and warm temperatures.
Bush camping each night saw us setting up swags prior sitting around the camp fire sharing excellent meals. The food was plentiful and enjoyed under the stunning stars of outback Australia.
I highly recommend this trip for anyone wanting to experience something a little different.

Autumn Victorian Alps adventure A fun trip with knowledgable guides who seems to enjoy walking and taking others walking. Easy pick up and drop off, and they made a special airport run to assist flight home for some of the party. The food was plentiful and wholesome. The other people walking were interesting and the groups well match with regard fitness adn capacity. The accomodation was basic but clean and comfortable.

Cradle Mountain the easy way. Very well organised trip with a very happy, friendly, helpful, knowledgeable
guide. Food and accommodation were extremely good and more than adequate.
Walking tracks were well maintained and the scenery was fabulous. There were challenging parts to the Hanson's peak and Marion's Lookout walks but well worth the effort. The Dove Lake walk was one of the nicest walks we have ever done.
Highly recommend this tour.

We had such a wonderful time on Park Trek’s 3 capes adventure- the scenery was spectacular and the guides were truly wonderful, with exceptional knowledge of the flora, fauna and geography if the region, adding so much to our experience. The boat trip on the final day is not to be missed, giving a different perspective of the area. It was a truly special 4 days making lasting memories with great friends. Tarkine is a great walking expereince The overall experience was great - our guides were good and the group a lot of fun and easy to get on with. The Tarkine is a beautiful area of old growth temperate rainforest, and Liffey Falls on the way back was amazing. Unfortunately our trip was impacted by bushfires so we did not get the full experience. The walking on this trip was relatively easy.

Out of this world magic Park Trek provided an amazing experience walking in untouched forest, while organising great accomodation, all transfers and wonderful catering.

Exhilarating, challenging, incredible - Three ways to describe the Three Capes walk This was a challenging walk but the beauty of the Three Capes / Tasman Peninsula Walk exceeded all expectations. Our guides were knowledgeable, enthusiastic and genuinely invested in ensuring each member of our group was involved and enjoying the experience. The meals were delicious and accommodation really comfortable. A highlight was the late afternoon swim we took each evening in the icy waters of picturesque Stewarts Bay; a perfect tonic for sore legs and feet! Our group’s only dilemma now is which hike to choose with Park Trek next year.

A chance to experience an area not travelled I travelled with 5 friends and we were joined by 4 others.
All of us got on well which enhanced the experience.
Sandra & Gerard our guides were great and ensured we learned about the area. Their ability to conjure up all of our meals was the icing on the cake

I had the most wonderful experience doing the 4 days Victorian Alps trek last week. Grahame and Sandra were fabulous guides - highly experienced and very friendly, supportive and flexible. We saw the most amazing sights and vistas and felt so lucky to be experiencing such a beautiful part o f Australia up close. We stayed in beautiful Bright and enjoyed great accommodation and meals. Highly recommend!

I recently went on a three day / two night hike in Gariwerd (The Grampians) staying at the Northern Huts. We were a group of 5 fathers with our Year 6 sons, undertaking this challenging hike. This trip was organised and led by Charles, who provided us with excellent guidance and advice in preparation and during the trip. The hike went smoothly, and we experienced stunning landscapes, views, and camping locations. The time connecting as fathers with our boys was precious and will be fondly remembered. Overall, it was a great experience made possible by Park Trek.

We did the Park Trek Light to Light walk on the Southern NSW coast in early September and thoroughly recommend it to others. Four wonderful days of walking through varying coastal terrain in the pristine Beowa National park. The guides were great attending to all our needs both on and off the trail. Authentic accommodation in the lighthouse keepers cottages at Green Cape was comfortable and added to the rustic charm of this rejuvenating sojourn in nature. Whales in the sea, wombats, wallabies and wildflowers in the bush and amazing sunsets in the sky. What's not to love?

Stunning Tasmanian 3 Capes 4 day Trek December 2021. The views were amazing and rewarding at the end of the daily trek. Tasmania is always stunning and offers so much diversity. The 3 Capes trek allowed us to access an area that was previously difficult for us to plan and undertake and also incorporated a boat trip around the Peninsula to finish the Great 4 days.

GREAT GUIDED WALKS Very well-organized walking trip in the Flinders Ranges with great knowledgeable and hard-working guides. Some of the walks were potentially challenging given my age (76) but the guides worked hard at making sure we all had a good experience and encouraged us all to achieve our goals.

Fabulous 5 days in the Ikara-Flinders Ranges with Park Trek This tour ticked all the boxes! It was extremely well-organised. Our guides were knowledgeable, friendly, amusing, a terrific team and excellent drivers! They worked very hard to ensure we all had a terrific experience. The food and accommodation was high quality. The walks were challenging but doable by all, with helping hands from the guides where appropriate. They afforded excellent views of the stunning landscape. I'd have no hesitation in recommending Park Trek tours to friends and family and would happily use them again.

Wonderful walks in the Flinders Ranges The landscape was amazing! the walks were challenging but do-able. The guides (Peter and Graham) made the whole experience thoroughly enjoyable. I would highly recommend this trip as a way of seeing a remote and beautiful area.
