An Authentic Outback Mining Adventure

Led by expert guides who are storytelling champions with the scars and jokes to prove it, you will journey deep into a mining experience that feels strikingly real. Travel down in the Alimak cage, hear machinery roar through the tunnels, and feel the cool underground air wrap around you like a moment frozen in time. 🥾

You will crank the drill, watch the dust fly, and discover the tools and techniques that built Mount Isa’s powerful mining legacy. Cameras are welcome, so capture those unforgettable moments where bravery meets machinery and history meets adventure.

• Enclosed footwear will be provided. Don’t forget to bring socks!
• Minimum age: 7+ years
• Signed Waiver of Liability required for all participants
• Minimum of 4 participants per tour
• No medical, mobility, or claustrophobic concerns that could impact safety underground
• The tunnels are approximately 4m high by 4m wide
• Bookings cancelled less than 24 hours prior to tour, will incur a 100% cancellation fee.
